Living the Lord's Law of Love, Part 1

(ML #3201:42-78, 106–123, GN 804.)

42. (Mama: ) Most people don't have any problems about the general concept of the Law of Love; all Christians basically believe in theory the Scriptural doctrine that says you should love your neighbor as yourself. I don't think there's anyone in the Family who has a problem with that, at least not in principle. Of course, when trying to live it, that's a different story. En­deavor­ing to do the loving thing in each instance through­­out every day is extremely difficult. But theo­logically, I don't think there are many folks who have trouble with it.

43. However‚ when you come to the sexual side of the Law of Love, that's where the sparks begin to fly! When church Christians hear that we believe that having sex with one another outside of marriage is not a sin‚ if done in compliance with the rules of the Law of Love and the Charter, they generally are shocked, and often appalled!

44. Why do we believe that we can share loving sex with one another without it being a sin, when most Christians believe such actions to be utterly sinful? I believe one of the best answers to this question is given in "Amazing Grace" (ML #1968, DB 8), a compilation of Dad's writings on the subject. I'm going to include portions of it for you to read. Please don't just whiz through this, but read it slowly and try to grasp its significance—especially you second generation folks.

45. It's important that you understand the Biblical basis for it and the original revelation the Lord gave to Dad on this subject. It's not enough that you know it's okay to have sex with others just because the Charter says it's allowed, or just because sexual sharing is practiced in the Family. You need to understand the spiritual principles behind it. If you're reading this together as a Home and you don't understand some point, then please ask someone to explain it; or if you're reading on your own, then go and ask one of your parents or a shepherd to explain it further if you don't understand. Okay?

46. A good starting place is the following explanation of why we are free from following the Old Testament laws‚ and even the Pauline laws (those laid out in the New Testament by the Apostle Paul). Here are the quotes I referred to from "Amazing Grace":

47. [God] brought the Jews out of their slavery in Egypt, but then they were in bondage to the harsh and rigid rules of Moses—the Law. Then along came Jesus with His grace, mercy, forgiveness, love and truth—our salvation: "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ" (Jn.1:17). He came and showed us that salvation and true righteous­ness were not by works, but by grace!

48. Thus the early Christians were liberated spiritually, they found spiritual freedom‚ but they were still somewhat in bondage to some of the old customs, traditions and laws which were hangovers from their Jewish past and background that they couldn't quite shake. Remember, the first Christian church was just coming out of the Jewish church and they almost had to make a compromise, because some of them were still under the bondage of the old Law and weren't able to break completely free.

49. But Jesus Himself never gave them any laws, except the Law of Love! When the self-righteous, hypocritical religious leaders questioned Him, "Master, which is the great commandment in the Law?" He replied, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself" (Mat.22:37-39).

50. He then shocked them by con­tinuing to say‚ "On these two command­ments hang all the Law and the Pro­phets" (Mat.22:40). They had thou­sands of religious laws, but Jesus told them that they now only needed two: Love God and love others!—That's all! He said‚ "In this is the whole Book!"

51. Jesus said that this one simple law—love—is all the Law as well as all the Prophets! That's pretty broad coverage! That takes in the entire Old Testament, "the Law and the Prophets!" Jesus said that's the whole works, the whole Bible, that's all the Law—love! In other words, if you love God and you love others, what do you need with any other laws? You're not going to hurt anybody, you're not going to be selfish, you're not going to do anything that will hurt anybody else!

52. Therefore Jesus' Law of Love frees us from the old law and is all-encompassing, all-absorbing, all–ful­filling and completely above and beyond any other law! God's only Law is Love, and as long as something is done in love with real‚ unselfish, even sacrificial love‚ God's love‚ then it is absolutely lawful in God's eyes. No matter whether it seems a sin in the eyes of the church or immoral in the eyes of man, it is still absolutely innocent in the eyes of God if it's according to love!

53. The Bible says, "The fruit of the Spirit is love; and against such (love) there is no law" (Gal.5:22,23). Against pure love, the love of God, the unselfish, sacrificial love of God and your fellow man, there is no law of God!

54. Jesus said, "I am not come to destroy the law or the prophets, but to fulfill it!" (Mat.5:17). And by fulfilling it, He ended it; therefore we are no longer required to keep the Laws of Moses of the Old Testament! "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth" (Rom.10:4).

55. God's grace through Jesus' Law of Love is the end of the old law! Paul preached sermon after sermon and wrote letter after letter showing that the old Law was finished, it was done with, period! The Mosaic Law is done away with for the Christian who is living under grace and under the Law of Love! "Now we are delivered from the Law, that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the Law!" Now "all things are lawful" to those who are living under God's Law of Love! (Rom.7:6; Gal.3:13; 1Cor.6:12).

56. The Ten Commandments are no more to the followers of Jesus! Hallelujah! God only has one law now: The Law of Jesus‚ the Law of Love‚ "to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and thy neighbor as thyself" (Mat.22:36-39). Of course, this infuriated the Jews of Jesus' day and their religious leaders, who said of His doc­trine, "This is against Moses and against the Law!" (Acts 6:13,14; 21:28).

57. This was the most raging controversy between Jesus and the Jews! It was also the most raging contro­versy between St. Paul and the legalists, the "concision," the converted Jews who said, "Yes, we now believe in Jesus, but we still have to keep all the old Law; we still have to keep the Ten Commandments, the Mosaic Law, the Sabbath, etc." (Phil.3:2).

58. And we still have many Christians today who are just like those legalistic concision members of the Early Church. They're not completely enlightened. They're still partly in the dark. They don't realize that Jesus is enough, that His light is sufficient, that His love is all we need. The trouble with them is they're so ingrained with that old "Judeo-Christianity" that they're still preaching the Mosaic Law with one hand while preaching Christ with the other!

59. But according to Jesus Himself and every book of the New Testament, God's children today are no longer ­under the Laws of Moses! We are under grace and under love! For us, the old Law is gone forever! Thank God! We now only have to keep God's Law of Love, His only law—love! For the Laws of Moses are no more to the believer in Jesus! We now only have the Law of Jesus, God's only Law—love!

60. There is now no other law‚ no ­Mosaic laws, no church laws!—Those laws don't exist as far as we're concerned!

61. For those who are filled with His Spirit of Love, love is the only rule! "For if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law!" (Gal.5:18). "If ye fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well" (Jam. 2:8).

62. "Whatsoever you do in word or in deed, do all to the glory of God!" (Col.3:17; 1Cor.10:31). That's our rule‚ God's rule. What are the greatest com­mand­ments?—"Love God with all your heart, love your neigh­bor as yourself!" If it lives up to those rules, then it's for the glory of God; and if you love the Lord and you love your neighbor and it's for love, and in love, and has good loving results, praise God!

63. Therefore whatsoever you do in the unselfish sacrificial love of Jesus is right and lawful! Whatever you do in love is the law—and that's all, that's it! God's only law is love! We are totally, utterly free of the old Mosaic Law! We are delivered from the old Mosaic Law and no longer bound by it—we are free! Now all things are lawful to us in love, praise God! As long as it's done in love, it keeps God's only Law of Love!

64. Knowing this, realizing this, and practicing this, of course gives us a lot of freedom. But in another way, His Law of Love is the most binding law of all!—Because God's Law of Love not only says you can't steal, can't kill‚ can't do this, can't do that, etc., but that you've also got to love everybody!—Which is one of the hardest things of all to do!

65. So in many ways the Law of Love is even stricter than the Mosaic Law. The Ten Commandments said that we were just to do that which was just and righteous, but under Jesus' Law of Love we are to do more than justice and righteousness, we are to have love and mercy.

66. Love is more than righteous­ness‚ and mercy is greater than justice! So the Law of Love is greater, and we are to be more kind and more forgiving. In the ­Mosaic Law there was virtually no forgiving and it was "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth!" (Exo.21:24; Lev.24:20). The Law said that if you knock out my eye or my tooth, I'm allowed to knock out yours!

67. But Jesus says, "Do unto others what you want them to do to you" (Mat. 7:12)—not just whatever they do to you, but what you want them to do to you.—This is love. Jesus went right down the line in Matthew [chapter 5] and said, "In the Law it is written so-and–so, but I say unto you"—and told them something entirely different! He said‚ "But I say unto you, love your enemies, forgive them!" (Mat.5:38-44).—That's the Law of Love!—Which shows it's even greater and stricter than the old Mosaic Law!

68. Jesus' law is much stricter, much more difficult to keep—in fact, imposs­ible! If the old Law was impossible, Jesus' Law is even more impossible! That's why He says, "Without Me, you can do nothing!" (Jn.15:5). But He also says that we "can do all things through Christ which strengthen­eth us" (Phil.4:13).—For "His grace is sufficient for us, His strength is made perfect in our weakness!" (2Cor.12:9). (ML #1968:9-17, 21-25, 27-35).

69. (Mama: ) Do you understand what Dad was teaching us here with all these Scriptures? We are free from all of the religious laws in the Bible through the Lord's salvation and through living His Law of Love. This is why we don't need to keep the Mosaic Law and other church laws. Of course, this doesn't mean that we're free from all of society's laws. If you break a law in the country you live in‚ you can't just tell the police officer or the judge that you're above their law because you live the Law of Love! Dad is talking about Biblical laws that we're free from, and there were hundreds of rules under the Mosaic Law in the Old Testament. The books of Leviticus and Deuteronomy are just full of them! Of course, we do practice some aspects of the Mosaic Law just because of common sense—and as a part of love. We don't kill, cheat, lie and steal because it's not loving. Nor do we eat unclean foods or live in unhealthy ways, because that defiles the temple of our bodies the Lord has given us and hinders our loving others.

70. Now let's continue on with the "Amazing Grace" quotes and see what Dad says about why we are free to enjoy sex with one another. Dad says:

71. As the Apostle Paul said, for the loving, liberated followers of Jesus, "All things are lawful to us, but not all things are expedient!" (1Cor.6:12). We have been freed from the bondage of the old Law and the condemnation of sin by the liberating Law of Love in Christ Jesus, and if what we're doing is in love and not hurting any innocent party, then it is perfectly legal according to God's Law of Love.

72. Of course, most churches and churchy Christians today would say, "Well, all things may be lawful under Christ's Law of Love—except‚ ahem‚ anything to do with sex!"—Because the churches have declared almost everything that has anything to do with your body or sex or self or pleasure as illegitimate, illegal, immoral, and irreligious!

73. But "all things" being lawful for His loving, believing, Law-of-Love–following children includes sexual freedoms also!--As long as what we're doing is done in the unselfish, sacrificial love of God! According to the Scriptures‚ there is no longer any law against sex that is done in love, God's love, and hurts no one: It is not sin, neither adultery, nor fornication!

74. After all, what was the idea and purpose of the old Mosaic Law against adultery? Even behind the old Laws there was the love of God and His desire to keep people from hurting each other and damaging each other either physically or other­wise‚ even their feelings. So if we're keeping God's Law of Love, then we'll try not to hurt anybody. We'll do our best to try to live in love‚ to help people without hurting them.

75. And although the church has been going by Paul's rules and their own tra­ditions for ages, God has finally broken through in the Spirit to us with His Last-Day message! We are God's last Church, the last step in God's progress toward total freedom for His Church, and the last chance to prove that the ultimate Church can be trusted with total freedom in this last generation!

76. We are in a new day, a new time, and God has given us His Word for this day and this time! And just like the Early Church and the dawning of the Christian era was a total change, and totally outdated, outmoded, and overthrew the legal­ism and bondage of the Mosaic era, so we today are having to cast away all of the old legalistic traditions, conventions and ­holier-than-thou self-righteousness of the church system today. It's like a whole new dispensation of grace!

77. We have had special‚ direct revelations from the Lord which have shown us that some of these activities which most Christians would call sin or sinful are ­covered under grace and the love of God! Therefore we have totally broken with the churches' traditions and pre­con­ceived ideas about God and miscon­ceptions of morality. We have turned completely around and are going in a different direction, no longer their way but God's way, and we are free to enjoy to the full the beauties and wonders of His creation with all of its pleasures‚ which He Himself created for our enjoyment!

78. Through Jesus and His salvation and the freedom of His Spirit, by the grace of God, we have regained the liberty and the freedom of the Garden of Eden!—And that's the only way anyone can really get back to such freedom—the original freedom, sinlessness, perfection, liberty and openness of the Garden—by first getting back to perfect fellowship and a relationship with God and belief in His Word‚ faith in Him and in His creation (ML #1968:38–41, 53-56).

What About Adultery?

106. I've had a number of young people write and ask me, "Isn't sexual sharing with a married person committing adultery?" Some have brought up the story of Jesus with the woman who was caught in the act of committing adultery, and pointed out that Jesus said to her, "Go and sin no more." They say that since Jesus said that she shouldn't sin anymore, that He was in effect saying that adultery was a sin. That's exactly right! It was a sin for her because she was under the Mosaic Law. But we are not under the Mosaic Law, so for us it isn't sin, pro­viding we are acting in accordance with the guidelines and restrictions of the Law of Love.

107. When he was asked this question Dad answered, "She was still under the Mosaic Law, but even then the Lord forgave her!—We are not!—We are only under Christ's Law of Love!—'Against such there is no law!'—Not even adultery!" (ML #1566:64).

108. I think it's worth taking the time to firmly nail down why it isn't adultery for us to share sexually. Let's look at a few things Dad has said on this subject:

109. There is no more adultery for us who live under God's only Law of Love! If what we do is in love, "against such there is no law" (Gal.5:22-24). "All things are law­ful unto me, and to the pure‚ all things are pure!" (1Cor.10:23; Tit.1:15) (ML #2835:20).

110. As far as we're concerned and as far as the Bible says‚ for us there is no such thing any more as adultery! There is no such thing any more as a Biblical law against adultery, as long as whatever is done is done in love‚ because the Law of Love supersedes all other laws! (ML #647:39).

111. We're no longer under the laws on adultery and all the rest, so how can we break them? How can you break the Mosaic Law when you're not under it?—When you're just under the Law of Love?—And love doesn't need any law! "Against such there is no law," against love. (Gal. 5:22,23). We are free! We've been liberated from the Law of Moses, we're free! "He that the Son has set free is free indeed!" (Jn.8:36). And what's the other one on freedom? "If ye continue in My Word ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (Jn.8:31-32). Isn't that what we've taught you? Haven't we continued in the Word? Isn't that why you enjoy this freedom?—Every kind of freedom, including sexual freedom, as long as it's in love! (ML #2134:46‚47).

112. Of course, I'm not saying that there's no more adultery in the world today; the world is rife with adultery among the unsaved or the unbelieving—and even Christians who are still in bondage! But in our society of the Family, if we're living and operating in love, in God's love, how can there be any such thing as adultery, which literally means corrupting and polluting?—That's what adulterating something means. Our sexual freedom does not adulterate, it does not poison, it does not pollute or corrupt anybody or anything, because we have sex in love. Our sexual sharing is done in "faith‚ which worketh by love" (Gal.5:6). (ML #2835:33).

113. Of course we don't commit adultery! We're not adulterating any­thing! We're not polluting anything! We're all one Family! We're all married to each other and it's all in love and we wouldn't think of doing anything to hurt anybody. Our form of sexual sharing is not adultery, but is good and Godly! And we need more of it, because it binds us together and we learn how to give and sacrifice, as well as how to enjoy each other. Praise the Lord! The Mosaic Law is not made for us‚ because we wouldn't think of doing anything against God's Law of Love. At least I hope none of the Family would! (See 1Tim.1:9.) So there is no more adultery for us who live under God's only Law of Love! (ML #2878:38,39).

114. (Mama:) That makes it pretty clear, doesn't it? For us, if we're acting in accordance with the Law of Love, there is no adultery, because we're not under the Laws of Moses; we're free by the law that Jesus gave, the Law of Love. We're free because we believe the Word, because we believe what Jesus said, and because we believe what the Lord revealed to Dad about the full extent of the freedoms the Lord has given. As Dad stated, "It all boils down to whether you're going to believe in Moses or Jesus!—Whether you're going to insist that we keep the dead laws of Moses and the prophets of yesterday, or the living love–law of Jesus and His Apostles of today!" (ML #592:31).

115. So we aren't bound by the Mosaic Law! Of course, this is providing that your sexual sharing with others is done in love and is not hurting anyone. If not, you are operating outside the boundaries of the Law of Love, and in that case it is a sin. If you're not following the guidelines of having the willing consent of your mate, of hurting no one, and doing all things in love, then it is a sin for you. But you're not guilty of disobeying God's laws if whatever you're doing, you're doing in love. And if you know you're acting in love and in accordance with the Lord's counsel in this series of GNs and the Charter, then you can go ahead by faith, according to God's Word, and you don't need anything else.

Spiritual Adultery!

116. I want to bring up just one more point about adultery. Many Christians condemn us because we have the faith to claim our sexual freedom under the Law of Love. They call it adultery when clearly it isn't‚ at least not for us. But while they castigate us for what they call adultery, most of them are truly committing adultery, spiritual adultery. When talking about this, Dad said:

117. Although Jesus condemned physi­cal adultery for those still under the Law, the Lord and the prophets condemned spiritual adultery as the worst of all!—The wickedness of spiritually committing adultery with the Devil and his idols and materialism! The Lord says, "I am broken with their whorish heart which hath departed from Me, and with their eyes, which go awhoring after their idols! Ye adulterers and adulteresses‚ know ye not that the friendship of this world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God!" (Eze.6:9; Jam.4:4). (See also Psa.106:39; Eze.20:30–32; Jer. 3:6-10.)

118. The Lord even depicts the world materialistic System as "the great whore with whom the kings of the Earth have committed fornication‚ and the inhabitants of the Earth are made drunk with the wine of her fornication!" (Rev.17:1-2). Spiritual adultery and fornication with the idolatrous and whorish System of this world is an abomination that most self–righteous Christians never even give a second thought about, yet they're so quick to self-righteously condemn us for the perfectly pure sexual liberties that are ours under the Lord's Law of Love! (ML #2835:30,31).

119. These people in the world and even in the churches who condemn us and accuse us of an "adulterous life­style" are themselves guilty of spiritual adultery! You'd better watch out that you're not guilty of spiritual adultery also. You say, "What is spiritual adultery, Dad?" It's running around and fucking the idols of this world when you're supposed to be the Bride of Christ! You can even do that walking through a shopping center if you don't watch your mind and your step! What do people worship today? Do they actually still worship the idols of ancient days? Some people do in some countries. But what have you seen people worship mostly in this supposed advanced civilization?—Car, money, home (ML #2878:41,43).

120. (Mama:) The Lord confirmed this in a prophecy about the Law of Love when He said:

121. (Jesus speaking:) Yours is a high calling—the highest calling—to be My servants in an adulterous and wicked generation. I say unto you, what is their adultery? Their adultery is that they have gone awhoring after other gods, and they have neglected their first Husband [the Lord]‚ and gone after the rudiments of the world. But it is not adultery if you love your brethren. Because in that you have loved the least of these‚ My brethren, you have done it unto Me. (End of message from Jesus.)

122. (Mama:) The Lord is telling us here what He considers real adultery!—That God's children—most Christians in the world today—have left Him, the One Who is supposed to be their First Love, and put many other gods before Him!—The gods of materialism‚ education, intellectuality‚ sports and physical fitness, outward appearance, a good reputation and favor in the eyes of man. This is adultery in His eyes!

123. If we're living the Law of Love, if our actions regarding sexual relations are done in love, then we are not guilty of physical adultery, but we should all keep a real check on our relationship with the Lord to make sure we're not guilty of spiritual adultery. Amen?

How to Love Me More, Part 1

Why use sexual words that the System considers dirty or lewd?

119. Q: Some people are stumbled by the more graphic Loving Jesus expressions, and consider them dirty or profane. There are ­others who wish they felt freer to express their love and feelings in this way, but they still have difficulty with it because of their conservative back­grounds. Even if someone's background is relatively free and open sexually‚ these types of erotic words are often still not part of one's vocabulary, but are considered porno-type of talk and on the dirty or lewd side.

120. Since such sexy language isn't used by "decent" people, but is often looked on as pornographic‚ why does the Lord want us to use it?

121. (Jesus speaking:) I have given man not only the beauties of sex, but also the words used to describe and accompany sex for man's pleasure. But Satan has sought to twist one of the greatest beauties of My creation into an abomination. He has warped the minds of those who know Me not, and he has adulterated and perverted their ways of looking at sex, of talking about sex, of reacting to sexuality and sexy words. So for many people in the world, the utterance of such sexy words has become evil or is a sin. For some it truly is a sin because the words and the terms they use are perverted and evil, for they have allowed the Devil to twist My creation; for others it is evil because they've been duped into believing that sex is sinful‚ and they believe that speaking of it so openly cannot be good or godly.

122. But you, My children, should not be afraid to speak the truth in love and to share My loving sexy words. I have given unto you and taught you the beauties of clean and pure sex and loving. The loving which you partake of has no evil attached to it, no perversion, no stigmas. Unto those who are pure, all things are pure. But unto those who are impure and unclean, the beauties of sex and the words which describe sex have often become impure and adulterated.

123. These sexy words and these terms and these expressions of My love are not demeaning but endearing, exciting and thrilling and cause My children to get hot and excited and sexy and ready for Me. Great power and exhil­aration come to those who have this personal, intimate, sexy, thrilling relation­ship with Me. It strengthens them and gives them power‚ boldness‚ humility, and many more gifts of My Spirit.

124. These erotic words and these ways of loving Me intimately are not for the lowlifes and the vile and the filthy minded, but they are for My children—My clean, pure, decent, loving children. It is perfectly fine to use these words with Me and with each other in the bed of love, and I will improve your love lives like you've never known possible. So throw off these mental taboos, and any hesitations, fears or doubts you have, as well as any lies the System has implanted in you. Regardless of what the System has taught you, or continues to teach‚ regard­less of any media portrayals or outside influences, these are good words and expressions of My love and they will bear good fruit in your lives. 125. (Mama: ) The sexy and loving words that we say to the Lord and each other cannot be compared to the way the System uses such words. They use these terms to curse and to express lust, anger, hatred, and all manner of uncleanness. We use them to express love for the Lord and for others. Much depends on the heart and intent of the user. As the Lord says, "Unto the pure all things are pure. But unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure‚ but even their mind and conscience is defiled" (Tit.1:15). The Enemy has twisted the Lord's beautiful creation of sex in the minds of so many who don't know the Lord, and even those who do often think it's a sin or evil! For the most part, the way novels and movies portray sex or people talking about sex is not godly. The Enemy tries to get his bad attitudes and perversions in wherever he can—subtly, without you even realizing. Be sure to ask the Lord to cleanse you and keep you pure‚ and avoid giving any place to the Enemy.

Why Are Things So Sexual?

18. (Mama:) We, the Family, have always been known for our controversial sexual beliefs, and the Lord has said that it's something He uses to keep us in the news and dropped out of the world. Dad was very sexy and often talked about sex‚ and related a lot of lessons to sex. Since the Loving Jesus revelation‚ the Lord has given us quite a lot of sexy words and mess­ages, and our relationship with Him as His Bride has taken on a sexier tone than ever. He's also recently called us to put a renewed emphasis on fully living the Law of Love, which includes sexual sharing.

19. I'm sure that some of you have wondered sometimes why the Lord—and Dad, and now Peter and I—put so much emphasis on the sexual aspect of things, why we talk about and believe in so many sexy things, and why so much seems to be related to sex somehow. A lot of you probably don't mind this at all, but I think some might wonder at times whether we couldn't leave sex out of some things a little more, and what the Lord's purpose has been in having some areas of our lives appear more sex–oriented now than before.

20. I asked the Lord to speak to us on the subject, and I think you'll find the following message fascinating‚ as He gives some insight into not only how it's strengthened us so far, but how it will help us—and many others—in the days to come.

21. (Jesus speaking:) I have said that the love of many will grow cold in the Last Days. Man will do that which is unseemly and against My Law of Love. There will be a hardening of man's heart toward the pure love of My Spirit and the normal Godly love of a man and a woman. Man will create more and more abominations of science.

22. He's started with seemingly innocent means, such as creating babies outside of the womb, but from there is moving into trying to create human tissue, human transplants, and human clones. All of this is the way of the world and prepares the way for the Antichrist and his followers. The Antichrist himself will not desire the love of a woman.

23. Thus I'm preparing My children to be a window to My Spirit, a window to My love, to show the world the true beauties of Godly, loving sex, and normal, natural, loving, affectionate relationships without the worldly spirit of the Enemy.

24. The sexual nature of the Loving Jesus revelation is important, because the Devil is against Godly sex, good spiritual sex, and is trying to destroy it. He wants to destroy people's belief and participation in any form of Godly sex. He would pervert that which is good and persuade people to follow him and his manner of destructive, selfish, lustful, perverted sex—even Satanic sex.

25. Only those who are strong in the spirit and strong in My ways, strong through practicing loving Me intimately and living the Law of Love, will be able to instruct many in the days to come. Many will be confused through the powerful influence of the media, through the testimonies of the Devil's children, through the laws of man, through the Antichrist spirit which will influence the world. They will not clearly see right from wrong and will need a standard bearer. They'll need to see clearly what you, the children of David, can show them through your untainted beliefs in truly loving sexual experiences, both with one another through normal sexual relationships, and with Me in the spirit.

26. Though the world might think it strange that you have sex with Me in the spirit and that you declare this openly, the day will come when many will turn to you for anything that is pure and that is from Heaven. When they see the destruction that the Antichrist will loose upon the Earth, they will turn to those who have spoken of loving sex with Me and with each other, seeking an escape from the Enemy's perversion and horror. Many will believe, and many will receive the good and the truth.

27. Practicing loving‚ Godly sex is a yielding to My Spirit. It's humbling, surrendering, and yielding yourselves to one another and to Me. The more My children yield and surrender to one another, the more I will use it to help them to continue to yield and surrender to My will. It helps My children to stay soft and flexible in My hands‚ as a piece of clay that I can easily shape and mold according to My will, because they've been under the sweet heat of My love, the loving heat of sex and lovemaking in the flesh and in the spirit.

28. Sex is more than a physical thing; it's also a spiritual thing, and the spiritual dynamics of sex are good for your spirit. This is why the Enemy fights and wants to discourage and destroy Godly sex, because he wants to control people's spirits and minds and draw them to follow him. That's why My children have a very powerful tool in their hands through the Loving Jesus revelation‚ through living the Law of Love, and through upholding Godly sex. They have the spiritual weapon of a close connection with Me and each other, the powerful tool of humility, yieldedness, and affection, which will help them to stay clean and pure in spirit, separate from the spirit of the world. It's from Heaven and carries the spirit of Heaven, and one day the world will see clearly and recognize the spirit of Heaven that you carry with you—beautiful‚ clear, simple, loving‚ giving‚ humble and yielded. Be True to the Revolution

55. (Mama:) For God's sake, if you can't take even a mention of sexual freedom and sharing between consenting adults in our in-house pubs, if you want to avoid mentioning anything at all sexy, or the fact that there was a semi-nude dance for Peter in our all–adult birthday party‚ if all this is so "personal" that you'd rather it never even be mentioned in the pubs—in fact, you wish it would just go away—then you're in the wrong place! What do you think the Family has become? If some of you can't take any mention in the pubs of legitimate, Godly, Charter-allowed sexual freedom, then there is some­thing seriously wrong with you! And if you think you can be in the Family and witness without letting your converts or even new disciples know about Dad or our radical doctrines, you are mistaken! It's ridiculous!

56. For Heaven's sake, think about it! Do you realize what you're saying?! You're wanting to gut the Family of everything that is unique to our message, and you might as well start building church buildings today, because that's what you're becoming! It's pitiful and upsetting!

57. I'm very concerned about the conservative, churchy, religious element in our CM Family, wondering what in the world happened to many of you! Where's that dedication you once had to the Words of David, when you were even willing to get out the most radical Letters and posters on the streets by the millions? Now any little mention of sexual freedom or sharing or anything that might stumble someone is hooted down as unreasonable‚ unwise, unnecessary, and a lack of discretion!

58. What in the world do you want? Do you want all the unique doctrines of the Family to be forgotten, or to be just for your private personal enjoyment‚ or even to be relegated to the shelves in our older Volumes as a part of our "history" which we'd just as soon forget? I'm sorry, but all of those options are impossible! Some of these same critics are plenty willing to practice the sexual freedom of the Law of Love in their own lives, and yet they'd deny this truth to the sheep the Lord brings across their path! And it goes further than that with a lot of you; you don't even want people to know about Dad or the Letters or that you're even part of the Family!

59. It's this watering down of the message and compromise through cover-up or deliberate denial that we cannot have in the Family. Of course, there are plenty of things about the Family that a lot of people won't like, especially if you're witnessing to churchy, narrow-minded, got-their-minds-made-up reli­gious people. Just to name a few: the fact that we believe in David, our Endtime prophet; our history of FFing; our belief in and practice of sexual freedom as per the full truth of the Law of Love that Dad taught us; hearing from the spirit world (not just Jesus‚ but spirit helpers and departed spirits); Dad continuing to lead the Family through his mess­ages in prophecy; the practical application of the "Loving Jesus" revelation, etc. Let's face it, the Family is not mainstream, and we never will be.

60. We have accepted into our outer circles those who don't or can't drop out‚ and we have lots of excellent literature to feed the GP and new converts that is similar to the productions of other Christian groups or churches. But I want to make it clear that the radical elements of the Family and the meat of the Word are not going to disappear, so you're doing yourself and your sheep a disservice if you try to lead a double life where you read the GNs in your Home and maybe even practice them privately‚ but in your witness you try to completely divorce yourself from the doctrines of the Family or even the Family name. That just isn't fruitful, and it won't work! Your sheep will find out eventually and then they'll distrust you and disrespect you for your lack of honesty.

61. Again, the argument that our radical doctrines should remain private or that they "shouldn't even come into the picture" is irrelevant to Peter and me, because we fully realize that anything we publish or have published won't remain private—not in this day and age. It will come into the picture eventually! You can think that you're keeping our meaty doctrines private by not teaching them and by not witnessing in the name of the Family‚ and you can hope they won't come up, but that's only a stopgap. That only delays the inevitable. If you remain a part of the Family, your sheep will find out, and when they do, your lack of honesty will be a terrible testimony. Not only will you look like a hypocrite, but a liar.

62. So take my word for it, if you want to remain in the Family and win new disciples, you'd best be much more honest and open about what we're really about—our history and some of our radical doctrines. You can explain some of these things with the Statements that are available for your use. Those provide very well-presented and well-rounded explanations.

63. I'm not saying you should immediately give your sheep the meat of these radical doctrines. I'm not saying you should necessarily preach them; but neither can you hide them indefinitely. There will be persecution eventually, and when that happens‚ your sheep or new disciples will find out about our radical past‚ our former persecutions, the accusations made against us, and our controversial doctrines. They'll find out about these things through twisted tabloid TV shows and exaggerated, lying newspaper articles, or through publications of apostates, things posted on the Internet. Is that how you want them to be taught and introduced to these doctrines? Of course not! Be wise, and teach your sheep yourself, with love, prayerful­ness, wisdom, and patience. 64. Regarding the mindset that any of you have that's similar to what's expressed in the letter from a Family member that I quoted earlier‚ the Lord said:

65. (Jesus speaking:) This is precisely the kind of compromising of the message that I want to root out. It's not that I expect the Family to actively promote the radical, private messages or to try to stir up controversy and trouble, but the deliberate hiding and denying of the radical doctrine is a compromise that must stop. This is exactly the kind of compromise that I hate‚ that which compromises and denies My Word!

66. The compromisers are those who think everything is fine with just the Bible and salvation. If everything were fine with just that, why would I still be talking today? If that were all that is needed today, why would I have raised up David and Maria? Why would I have even ­created the Family if all that were needed were the same messages the churches give? It's ridiculous and is the epitome of compromise of the meat of the Word.

67. You see‚ some people get a little confused‚ and when you talk about not compromising the message they get scared‚ because they think that means they need to actively promote or even preach the radical Word, the truths that are unique to the Family. That is not the case. That's not what I expect. But I do expect that they won't deny them, or try to bury them or pretend they don't exist, or that they won't try to hide them from their converts at the time when they should be feeding their sheep the meat.

68. Some of these conservative, fearful, compro­mised shepherds are like irresponsible parents or teachers who only feed the children in their care mush and baby food and milk, when they should be giving them meat loaf sandwiches‚ hamburgers, or a stew with plenty of tender, juicy meat! It's pitiful. Those kinds of care­givers can be charged with negligence. When the heads of the folds of David don't provide proper nourishment for their "chil­dren," that is negli­gence in the spirit, and the reason many of them don't do it is because of compromise for gain. They're afraid of losing their flocks, but part of the problem is they're not winning the right kind of sheep in the first place; they're winning churchy, lukewarm sheep. Or they're not willing to put forth the time and patience needed to teach them and answer their questions and help them understand and receive the truth of the meat of the Words of David.

69. Any way you cut it, that kind of compromise of the Word is wrong and cannot be tolerated. Those who are the caregivers and shepherds of the sheep of David must have the faith to explain and teach (when appropriate) the meat of the Word. The sheep will find out anyway, and it's a matter of either preparing them step by step‚ with wisdom and patience, or letting them stumble upon it themselves, usually with the spin of your enemies, which makes it almost impossible for babes to understand.

70. Those of you who think you can hide these truths from your folds are living in denial. That is naïve and ridiculous. I will not let these words be hidden. They will be revealed and shouted from the rooftops, because these are the very truths and messages that will win the strongest leaders and laborers. You aren't to go out of your way to preach it, for I will open the doors in My way and My time, but neither are you to deny the truth, or blatantly hide and bury it. I will not bless that, and your sample and character will be tarnished as a result of such shenanigans, as there will undoubtedly be questions as to why someone would even remain in a religious movement if he or she were ashamed of its doctrines and message. 71. (Mama: ) As I said earlier, I realize our enemies do eventually get ahold of our CM Letters or things that are written specifically to certain circles of the Family, or to certain Family members in specific situations. They take those words and quote them out of context, wrest them, misapply them‚ and do their best to use them against the Family as a whole. Sometimes they prepare entire compilations of "twisted truths," which they've used against us in past court cases.

72. While we regret that these Letters have fallen into their hands, and we certainly hope none of you are guilty of passing them on, we don't regret the words and truths themselves! (I'm referring here to the pubs still in our Homes. We acknowledge that some of those purged in the lit purge lacked the needed safeguards, or were easy to misconstrue, and for that reason they are no longer in our Homes.) In defending them, in "contending earnestly for the faith that was delivered unto us," it gives us a chance to present our side of the story, God's message and full truth‚ and to spread it far and wide. So nevertheless‚ the Gospel is preached, even if it's through contention sometimes! In defending the faith, we've often made more progress, gained more friends‚ spread more message‚ and won more people to the Lord than we could have any other way. All things truly do work together for good to those who love the Lord, thank God!

73. I want to remind you of what the Lord said in Part 1 of this series:

Only if the Family members are strong in faith and willing to preach the truth as given in the Words of David will you fulfill your special place in the big Endtime picture. It's that uncompromising witness that will allow Me to continue to give My full blessing to the Family. This is one of those spiritual principles which is contrary to the mind of natural man. You would think that the Family would grow and prosper and be­come strong and financially powerful by re­cruiting sheer numbers, by tickling people's ears with what they want to hear, by ­making them feel good about themselves and not "blowing them away" with strong unconventional doctrine. But the opposite is true.

By remaining true to your unique calling, by preaching the Word—even the uncomfortable, seem­ingly unpopular Word--and winning those who are willing to follow in your footsteps in spirit, will your new members be strong, powerful, and fruitful, and the result, with time, will be much, much more than had you tried to walk the more conventional route and not tested and tried your new members with the strong meat (ML #3361:57-58, GN 957).

Points to Consider About the Meat of the Word

74. Each of you in the Family needs to make a decision about your stance concerning the meat of the Word. Take the following points into consideration when deciding:

75. • Peter and I will not compromise the message the Lord shows us to publish. We will be wise, yes, and we will prayerfully consider security, but we will obey the Lord.

76. • You can be sure there will be more new truths and strong meat published in the future!

77. • What we publish for the CM or CM/FM Family eventually falls into outsiders' hands. We realize that‚ while these are essentially private messages or doctrines for our personal edification, that doesn't mean they'll not be made public eventually. You must therefore be prepared to deal with that.

78. • Peter and I have no intention whatsoever of becoming like the church system, where our mess­age to the world is only to preach Jesus, salvation‚ and the Bible.

79. • The Family has a lot of radical beliefs that many people don't like. Those are not going away. We are not becoming mainstream and ordinary.

80. • You cannot hide or deny the Family, Dad, or our radical beliefs indefinitely, because your sheep will eventually find out.

81. • It is your responsibility to teach your sheep, to bring them along, to help them receive the basics of the meat of the Word. If they can't handle it when taught lovingly, patiently, and in the Lord's time, then they would do better to become members of some active charismatic church.

82. • We will never have strong disciples unless we win the kind who can receive, believe, and live the meat of the Word. We're after quantity and quality!

83. • The Word teaches us that all who live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution, and that we will be persecuted for right­eousness' sake, for the Gospel's sake. Are you willing to stand up for the Gospel—the Words of David—that the Lord has delivered unto us and given us to preach in these Last Days? Do you believe that the meat of the Word is part of the "righteousness" God has given us as His Endtime children, with the message of David our Endtime prophet? If not, you'd better find a place with more basic beliefs you would have the faith to stand up for, bearing in mind that you'll probably be persecuted even for those someday!

We're Still a Revolution!

84. Here is a message of confirmation from Dad:

85. (Dad speaking:) This Family began as the Revolution for Jesus! We weren't church folks or namby-pamby spineless noodles for Jesus; we were radical, dropped-out revolutionaries who wanted to change the world for Jesus—and we still do! And you don't change the world by becoming just another church, just preaching Jesus and salvation. We started off by preaching the full Gospel, everything Jesus said, and not only preaching it‚ but living it full time.

86. That's what made us news around the world and why we hit the headlines in nation after nation! We were different, we were news, and the Lord's message made news! Even if the media sometimes twisted it and misrepresented us, nevertheless the Gospel was preached!

87. We weren't your normal meek and mild little Christians who drifted along‚ witnessing a little here or there when we had time—the silent majority, who have never made a sound, never changed a jot or a tittle, never sank so low or rose so high, never made a mark, never made any impression, so you never even knew they ever existed! We were fiery, fervent followers of Jesus, and still are. We don't believe in being conformed to the world but in being transformed! We believe in offering our bodies as a living sacrifice unto God, which is just our reasonable service after all the Lord has done for us!

88. You may say, "Well‚ Dad, those days of the Revolution for Jesus are sort of past now‚ aren't they? That was the sixties and seventies. Aren't we the Family now, and aren't we a little more mainstream, so shouldn't we have doctrines that are a little more mainstream?"

89. Let me ask you a question: What does the Family stand for? It's short for the Family of Love, a Family that was born in the white-hot fires of the FF Revolution! That's another revolution that changed tens of thousands of lives around the world and spread our message—God's message—further than we could have ever imagined! We don't FF anymore, but that's the revolution that gave us our present name, won multitudes of souls, and made God's love news in hundreds of news articles around the world!

90. Now we witness the Word instead of FFing, and that's a revolution too‚ because it's not just the Old Wine of the Bible; it also includes all the New Wine the Lord has given us over the years. As we've obeyed His Word to the best of our ability, He's given us revelation after revelation, showing us what His Word ­really meant, from our earliest days up to the present.

91. He's shown us the best way to reach the world is to live together in unity‚ having all things in common, and distributing our belongings to each man or woman as they have need. He's shown us that He meant it literally when He said we should love Him with all our hearts and our neighbors as ourselves, and that all the law hangs on these two commandments—His Law of Love! He's shown us that we can live this Law of Love in every way, even sexually, for you who are of age. He's shown us that we are literally the Bride of Christ, and that He's our Husband, and we can love Him intimately. He's shown us that we really are in the Last Days, and that time is short and we need to redeem it and do His work while we still can! He's given us the keys of the Kingdom and is teaching us how to use them to harness the greatest power in the universe!

92. So we're still a Revolution for Jesus—not some sort of reformation or revival, much less a church service for Jesus! God has called us out of the church system to work full time for Him, to believe fully in His Word, and to give our hundred percent to living it and preaching it. That's revolutionary‚ and that's what's kept us from drifting back into the System and becoming just another ho-hum, do-nothing church, even one that might have thousands of members.

93. We're different, and that's why we can accomplish so much, and why people are attracted to our message. We're different, and that's why we must remain dropped out rather than settling back into the mire and morass of the mainstream along with the flotsam and jetsam of "normality." We're different because we're God's new Church, His new Bride, not His old Church!

94. Now I know it's hard being different sometimes‚ and we get some bad publicity and persecution for it. But if we didn't, I'd be worried! After all, Jesus said He's chosen you out of the world, so the world often hates you, just as it hated Him. Well, thank God the world isn't your friend, because that would be enmity with God. If you find yourself wanting to become the friend of the world, you may be on your way to becoming the enemy of God. That which is highly esteemed among men is abomination to God. That's God's Word and warning—pretty revolutionary, huh?

95. There's a lot in the Word that's revolutionary, and we believe in it and follow it and do it, and people know we do. People who know the Family at all should know that we stand for all–out, full-time dedication to Jesus. They may not always agree with what we do and say, but they know what we stand for, and if we weren't willing to stand up for our beliefs, they'd figure we didn't believe in them very strongly—and that they weren't really worth believing in the first place!

96. Not only that, but the Lord Himself would be ashamed of us‚ because we're ashamed of His Word, the truth He's given us over the years. He was willing to give everything for you, to live and die for you, and yet you're ashamed of His Word and don't want to preach it or stand up for it because it's a little controversial and sometimes people are stumbled by it.

97. Well, let me tell you, if you're not willing to preach His Word—all of His Word—the Lord will see to it that it gets preached anyway, even if He has to find someone else to do so! I'm not saying that you should run down the streets pro­claiming that you're the bride of Christ or start talking about the sexual aspects of the Law of Love with the next passer–by. But if you're ashamed of these doctrines or want to sort of sweep them under the carpet with your long–term friends and contacts and even new disciples‚ you can be sure that "there is nothing hid that shall not be revealed." The truth will come out, whether it's in the form of a news article, slander from your enemies, a comment from someone else who's known you a long time, etc. Then how will you feel for having tried to cover it up‚ and how will your friends, contacts, or new disciples feel about you?

98. The words the Lord has given us over the years are His words, and they're what make us the Family we are. In your efforts to make us look more presentable or attractive or to sort of modernize the Family, watch out that you don't weaken the structure. Remember "Builders Beware!" When you start carrying out the bags of grain for some reason—any of our doctrines that you feel are maybe a little controversial, a bit too radical, inconvenient, things that need toning down or tossing out or whatever—then you're in trouble! Those words, those bags of grain, are what keep the building on its foundation—steady, stable, sturdy and strong! Builders ­beware!

99. It would do some of you good to dig into those bags of grain that keep us on a firm foundation and remind yourself of what's in there! When's the last time you read "Dropouts" or "God's Explosions" or even looked through "Revolution for Jesus" in the MOP? You're wondering why we can't be a little more conventional and "normal" in our life and outreach? When's the last time you read "Did God Make a Mistake?" or "Jesus People?—Or Revolution!" or dozens of other Letters along the same lines! Those Letters have not been superseded by the Charter. The Charter is built on the Word, and they're the Word too!

100. And you know what? Most of the Letters I just mentioned are GP, along with hundreds of other early Letters. I not only told the Family what God had shown us, but I told the world, and the youth of the world loved it, and so did many of the public! The Letters went like hotcakes, and you still meet people who remember you and your message from those days. They write you at your e-mail address; they see your Web site, and they're just thrilled that the Family is still around, still going, still witnessing the same things!

101. So I was faithful to preach and to live what God showed me. I was faithful to the mess­age and the Man, the Son of God, and that's what started the Family. Will you be faithful too? Will you keep going for Jesus, bold and brave and unafraid, committed to His Word‚ His truth, His message? I hope you will. I pray you will. You don't want to miss His "Well done‚ good and faithful servant," nor His standing to receive you at His throne, telling His Father and all the angels of Heaven that, "This is one of My faithful witnesses who loves Me and was not ashamed of My Word. Come, dear bride, and inherit the Kingdom that I have prepared for you from the foundation of the world!" Hallelujah! (End of message from Dad.)

102. (Mama:) Thank God for Dad's faithfulness to preach and teach and live the full Word of God! That's why we have a Family, why millions upon millions of people have heard about Jesus, and why 25 million of them have received Him and will live forever with us in Heaven! Here are a few quotes from some of those Letters that Dad mentioned:

Revolutionary Quotes From the Early Letters

History is a record of nothing but dropouts—because they're the only ones that made news! There was nothing new about the rest of the people—the System robots who followed the party line—the conformists and conventionalists that nobody ever heard of! It was the nonconformists, unconven­tion­alists, individualists, iconoclasts‚ rejects, and dropouts who really made history! You'd better believe it! So if you want to make history, just be a dropout! If you want to sink into the oblivion of the forgotten man, conform to the System! ("Dropouts IV," ML #34:22-23).

To Hell with the proper way! The proper way is of man! The unexpected and the improper‚ the un­conventional and untraditional, the unorthodox and unceremonious, contrary to man's natural expectation—this is the way God usually works! "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts!" (Isa.55:8, 9). Who can know the mind of the Lord, and who can show Him anything?

Who the hell do you think you are, anyway, to tell God what to do and how to do it? God knows His business and it's none of your business how He does it! So quit trying to tell Him how He ought to do it! "Now, Lord, You must do it this way or that way, so we'll be accepted and people will understand." … Just trust God that He knows what He's doing! "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thy own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths" (Pro.3:5,6). ("Did God Make a Mistake?" ML #35:13-15.)

103. (Mama:) Here's a real classic, one of my favorites, which‚ by the way, was printed in 1973 and classified GP—that is, for the general public!

Jesus Himself said He had to pour His very New Wine into very new bottles who could expand their receptivity sufficiently to take it, accommo­date it‚ and even rejoice in it, for it spoke their language and helped Him to reach the drunks and the harlots and the pub­licans and sinners and the radical young zealots with whom He associated. It also proved He was not part of the System and was not bound by its conventions, inhibitions and prejudices. …

A revolution is a total break with the traditions of man and his churches and his preconceived ideas about God and misconceptions of morality. We have turned completely around and are going a different direction, no longer man's way but God's way, and we are free to enjoy to the full the beauties and wonders of His creation with all of its pleasures, which He Himself created for our enjoyment.

This is no day for the weak and the fearful and those who are unable to bear the many more things that God now has to say to us in these Last Days when He must tell us the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help us God!

I'm sorry, but the revolution did not begin with our trying to please people and giving them only what they were able to believe and accept. … If you are not young enough in spirit, pliable enough, resilient enough, and elastic enough to expand your vision and faith to accommodate this New Wine of the Lord, you will certainly be unable to take what's coming, and your vessel now shaken will be truly shattered! …

If naked truth bothers you, you are definitely an old bottle and had better avoid the crash! But if you can accommodate this New Wine without asking why or trying to analyze its ingredients, God has such thrills and intoxication of the Spirit in store for you that you will be glad you drank it without question, and you'll be whisked off into a world which you never dreamed existed, where you'll enjoy the very wonders of total intimacy with a sexy, naked God Himself in a wild orgy of the Spirit as His totally surrendered Bride!

Otherwise, you're like the old church, an old bottle, cracked‚ broken, useless, and doomed to abandonment and oblivion! May God help you to know where you belong!

P.S. Remember the warning Jesus gave to some: "I would that ye were hot or cold, but because ye are lukewarm, I will spew you out of My mouth!" Halfway, half-hearted, half-baked disciples make God sick at His stomach! Please don't be one of them! It were better that you had never heard the truth than to have heard and gone back! God says‚ "My soul abhorreth him that turneth back!" Cut loose and come on! (From "Come on, Ma, Burn Your Bra!" ML #286:3-5,13,14,18,23,24,27.)

104. (Mama:) And the Family hasn't changed in being a Revolution for Jesus, even though Dad has passed on. We still believe in the Word, all of it, and that inevitably makes us different. As I said several years ago‚ right after Dad's Heavenly Homegoing: "We can never be only a missionary organization doing relief work and 'Consider the Poor' ministries. We are believers in sex, prophets of the End‚ portrayers of Heaven, separatists from the world, destroyers of darkness, and fighters for the truth! And in all these, beloved, we are preachers of the Gospel and lovers and winners of souls. And it is because of all of these other things that we are the successful missionary organization we are today" ("Why We 'Preached Sex' in the Press Release Announcing Dad's Homegoing!" Separation from the World—And the New Wine

"We're Still the Jesus Revolution!"

32. We're just as major a break with churchianity and tradition as was the Christianity of Jesus and His disciples and their break with Judaism and Jewish tradition and Jewish law! We have just as much broken with the church and churchianity and church tradition and even a lot of church false doctrine, as the Christians broke with the Jews! We're just as radical or revolutionary compared to the church as the early Christians were to the Jews!

33. I sometimes think there is a greater gap between us and churchianity than there was between the Christians and the Jews! I mean, we're almost as different as night from day! About all we and the church people can agree on is the Bible, and they don't even agree on all that. I mean, we agree with the whole Bible, every bit of it that is up to date. We probably agree more with the Bible than the church people do, because we bring out all the parts that they don't obey and they don't agree with regarding the present and the future, such as witnessing and winning souls and evangelizing the world and getting ready for the Tribulation.

34. God has a lot of new methods for today, a lot of things that would have even shocked the early Christians! God is a lot more modern today than most people give Him credit for! God is not a traditionalist, He doesn't have to stick to the past. The only thing He cares about is the present and the future; the past is gone.

35. God loves our attitude toward sex and nudity, because that's His attitude! He created them both, so obviously He likes them or He wouldn't have made them! And our use of them in love to win souls must really thrill and please Him!—Something the church people cannot accept. So thank God, that keeps us totally separate and distinct from the defunct churches and far more acceptable to the sinners and the world we're trying to win! TTL!

36. We're not trying to be accepted by the churches; we don't need to be accepted by the churches! We need to be accepted by the souls we're trying to win‚ and if they like sex and nudity, all the better!—Praise God! We appeal to the publicans and sinners and the drunks and the harlots and the radicals and the revolutionaries, just like Jesus did, and we're just as cast out of the churches as He was out of their synagogues and temples! So hallelujah!

37. Thank God He's kept us separate from the churches and prevented us from getting sucked into churchianity! TTL!—Or we could have totally lost our identity and our mission and our ministry and our message, like the Jesus people. They got sucked right back into the churches from which they came. But thank God the churches didn't suck us in, they spewed us out! Hallelujah! We were too hot for them!

38. We just don't fit churchianity and we never will! God called us for a different purpose, ministry‚ message and method to reach a different people, and we've done it outside of the churches and without their help and even against their opposition, as Jesus did against the church of His day. Thank God!

39. You know, I've looked at our Heaven poster once in a while and thought, "Maybe I ought to tone down some of the sexiness or nudity of these pictures a little bit." Then I thought, "Oh, damn'm! I'm not going to compromise like Paul did just to please'm, just to keep from offending their hypocritical self–righteous sensitivity and legalistic bondage!" Why should we? Why shouldn't we just be open and free about what we believe and think? This is the way it is!

40. We can't compromise our faith, our doctrine and our stand to please a few snotty, persnickety, sniveling church people who couldn't give a damn and who will never be attracted to us anyway! Are we still a Revolution or not? Are we still going to preach the same thing or not? I want to tell you something, besides Christ and salvation, we preach sex and nudity! Sex and nudity are a part of our doctrine, a part of our faith, a part of our practice and a part of our appeal!

41. We have gotten this far because we have called a spade a spade and we were radical and revolutionary and we promoted sex and we promoted nudity and we promoted the things that God made that do appeal to the world—and we got'm! They knew I was right! Right? They knew it was the truth!

42. God deliver us from churchianity and churchy compromisers! Let's go all out and let it all hang out for Jesus! Amen? Let's revolute to the End! GBAKY!—In Jesus' name, amen! (ML #1592:1, 3-16,18, DB2).

"Come On Ma!—Burn Your Bra!"

43. Thank you for your sweet letter about some of our recent radical missives. I regret that some of these were "hard sayings" for you to take and which you were not yet able to bear, but what can I say?

44. I dare say if you had been one of Jesus' disciples in His days here on Earth trudging down the dusty roads behind this Revolutionary Rebel of His generation and sleeping as many as 120 men and women in one room at a time, you would have found many of the things He had to say and His radical actions very hard to understand.

45. This is why, as Jesus Himself said, He had to pour His very new wine into very new bottles who could expand their receptivity sufficiently to take it, accommodate it, and even rejoice in it, for it spoke their language and helped Him to reach the drunks and the harlots and the publicans and sinners and the radical young zealots with whom He associated.

46. It also proved he was no part of the System and was not bound by its conventions, inhibitions and prejudices. He was totally liberated and free in the Lord to enjoy to the full the naked truths of God and His wonderful creation.

47. A revolution is a total break with the traditions of man and his churches and his preconceived ideas about God and misconceptions of morality. We have turned completely around and are going a different direction‚ no longer man's way but God's way, and we are free to enjoy to the full the beauties and wonders of His creation with all of its pleasures which He Himself created for our enjoyment.

48. So why quibble about reality and hide the naked truth of God's raw revelations and cover up in hypocrisy and self–righteous pride and a lack of total abandonment to the utter humility of God? As Jesus said, if ye cannot receive it when I speak to you of these earthly things‚ how can you receive it if I speak to you of the heavenly?

49. If you had been there when Jesus said to the multitude, "You must eat of My flesh and drink of My blood or you can have no part in Me," I wonder what you would have done then?

50. Would you, too, have been one of the many who turned away from Him that day and said, "This is an hard saying, who can bear it!"—So that He had to turn in sadness toward the twelve young faithful few and say, "Will ye also go away?" Peter pretty bluntly expresses their rather negative response when he says, "To whom shall we go?—Thou alone hast the Words of eternal life!"—As though he wished the Lord hadn't said what He did and wished that there was some other way, and if he could think of any other place to go, he would.

51. But only Jesus had what they wanted‚ so they continued to follow Him even though they didn't always understand Him nor approve of what He said.

52. He nevertheless spoke their language and was getting through to them and they loved Him because they knew He loved them and was trying to help them to be free.

53. This is no day for the weak and the fearful and those who are unable to bear the many more things that God now has to say to us in these last days when He must tell us the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help us God!

54. I'm sorry, but the Revolution did not begin with our trying to please people and giving them only what they were able to believe and accept.

55. But the Jesus Revolution was begun by a bunch of rowdy reddish radicals, … had in the greatest contempt by the established order, and [who have] shocked and shaken the world of the System of prudish conventionality and the hypocritical traditions of man ever since!

56. So if you are going to be offended at being stripped bare before God and ravished wildly by His Spirit‚ how on God's Earth are you going to stand it when He exposes your naked spirit and the spirit world in which it lives in the Letters that are yet to come?

57. I feel for you, my dear, and I'm sorry for you and I wish I could help you, but if you're unable to receive what God has already given us, what is coming is certainly going to break your bottle!

58. If you are not young enough in spirit, pliable enough, resilient enough and elastic enough to expand your vision and faith to accommodate this new wine of the Lord, you will certainly be unable to take what is coming, and your vessel now shaken will be truly shattered!

59. But that's life and the Revolution, which is built only with new bottles on the broken remains of the old!

60. I'm sorry, but that's what being born again—repentance—regeneration—and revolution—are really all about!

61. If naked truth bothers you, you are definitely an old bottle and had better avoid the crash! But if you can accommodate this new wine without asking why or trying to analyze its ingredients, God has such thrills and intoxication of the Spirit in store for you that you will be glad you drank it without question, and you'll be whisked off into a world which you never dreamed existed, where you'll enjoy the very wonders of total intimacy with a sexy naked God Himself in a wild orgy of the Spirit as His totally surrendered Bride!

62. Otherwise, you're like the old church, an old bottle, cracked, broken, useless and doomed to abandonment and oblivion! May God help you to know where you belong!
