When Jesus saw multitudes pressing upon Him
He climbed up the mountain away from the crowd
And when He was set His disciples came to Him
We heard these Words as He opened His mouth

Blessed are the humble, the poor and the meek
For they shall inherit both heaven and earth
Blessed are they that do hunger and seek
For they will be filled and they'll find what they search

Blessed are you when for My sake men hate you
Rejoice and be glad, your reward shall be sure
If you forgive others for their sins against you
The Father above in turn will forgive yours

Words from the mountain unheard in the valley
Words from the mountain to change all the world

Do unto others as you'd have them do
Go in the straight gate and not in the wide
Many are called but the chosen are few
They that hear My words and do them are wise

He with an ear let him hear all
My Words they are Spirit and life
They'll re main though the world pass away

Behold the fields how with flowers they're clothed
The birds of the air, do they sow?
Do they reap?
Even so seek first the Kingdom of God
And He will give you all these things that you need
