CORRECTIONS!              DO 156A                   3/72

         1. MANY YOUNG LEADERS ARE WRITING US FOR ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS WHICH HAVE ALREADY BEEN THOROUGHLY DEALT WITH IN PAST MO LETTERS! All they need is the Letters so we can refer them to the answers & not have to continually repeat these in unnecessary replies & special communications, oftentimes too late to prevent the trouble! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
         2. WE HOPE TO WORK ON A CONDENSATION OF MO LETTERS OR THEIR SUBJECTS, like the Topical Bible, in which all the points are listed briefly & together for even easier & faster reference, without all the funny stories, rantings & ravings--just a sort of skeleton of hard, brief facts without all those funny little anecdotes, laughs & illustrations, which is nice for flavour & amusement, but not essential to the simple facts & vital points to someone in a hurry for answers.
         3. WE CONSIDER THESE LETTERS ALL VITAL TO A COMPLETE UNDERSTANDING OF THE REVOLUTION, our message, method, way of life & operation of our Homes according to the ideas God has given us. Many pitfalls could have been avoided if the kids had had the Letters in their own hands & been familiar with their answers to their problems. But you can't blame them if they've never even heard them!
         4. SOME EITHER DON'T HAVE ANY OF THE OLDER MO LETTERS OR AREN'T READING THEM daily as suggested or in a regular daily course of MO classes for both Babes & LTs, as they should. So it's no wonder the kids are making so many mistakes!--How can they do the job without the instruction & training they need?--And the main source of this SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION ON NEARLY EVERY SUBJECT IS IN THE MO LETTERS!--Especially for LEADERS!--And for the conduct, organisation & operation of Homes & answers to their usual problems as the Lord has shown us.
         5. THIS IS HOW MOST MOVEMENTS GO ASTRAY, WHEN THEY GET AWAY FROM THEIR ORIGINAL LEADERSHIP, VISION & INSTRUCTION & LOSE THE REAL MEANING OF IT ALL!-Read "Dropouts" & you'll see! God forbid that it should happen to us!--But it will & it already has, because some of these young Leaders & Homes are getting completely out of touch with the original teaching, plans & purposes of the Revolution!--One report even commented recently that some were getting back into that "old Revolutionary spirit!"-Would to God they were!--I don't know what they meant by this, but I'm sure they didn't mean the ORIGINAL spirit!--Maybe they just weren't going back far enough!--Some of them only remember back as far as TSC's materialistic spirit or L.A.'s hard, tough militant attitude etc., which were unauthorised & unjustified changes in the original ways that we taught some of you personally. It was your own personal interpretation & revisions-REVISIONISTS, as the Commies would say!
         6. THIS IS WHY MAO HAD TO GET OUT HIS LITTLE RED BOOKS, "THOUGHTS OF MAO", & make'm memorise it, so they wouldn't stray away from the original ideas of their leadership, every man doing that which seems right in his own eyes!--Which may be entirely contrary to the original! If you want to keep the whole Revolution on the straight & narrow path to ultimate victory, you'd better publish these "Thoughts of MO" now to keep'm straight!--Or the whole thing can wind up in a spirit of "I'm of Jeth" & "I'm of Josh" & "I'm of Faith" & "I'm of Ho" confusion!--Whether you or they realise it or not! ONLY THE MO LETTERS & THE LORD CAN KEEP US UNIFIED & UNITED IN IDEALS, ACTIONS, SPIRIT & GOALS!
