Please use this list along with PL 35, the latest long-term list. Thank you!
For 14 years and up. Can be read with JETTs, but they shouldn't read it on their own. Selected prayer requests, answers to prayer and testimonies of answered prayer may be read to younger age groups as well, at parents' and teachers' discretion.
ANSWERED PRAYERS
Asia:
1. Faith PI (of Paul) (PL 48:31): (Recently diagnosed as having pre-cancerous cells in her cervix.) A prayer request for her healing went out to the Homes in the area, and her latest checkup showed the lesions on her cervix have gone down to only one, meaning there's a possibility these abnormal cells are disappearing.
2. Timmy (9, of Mary) (PL 48:33): (Has polio.) Doing much better now, is able to move around freely, and even participates in mild get out activities and Home duties, though he still has difficulty rising up from a sitting position, getting up stairs, etc.
3. Shikar (baby, of Daniel and Crystal) (PL 48:37): (Born premature.) Is doing very well, happy and healthy.
North America:
4. Jonathan (4, of Simon and Mary) (PL 46:19): Healed of cancer. "Jonathan went into remission 28 days after being diagnosed with cancer over six months ago. His hair is now growing back and he doesn't have any problems keeping up with the other children in the Home. His blood count is very good and he looks like a very healthy four-year-old. We thank you for your prayers and ask that you keep him in prayer, especially against any adverse effects of the small doses of chemotherapy that he will receive over the next two years. Please also pray that the Lord protects him from complications such as infections or pneumonia which are common in children being treated for leukemia."
South America:
5. Jared (of Hannah) (PL 47:46): Recuperating well from tuberculosis.
6. Gracia (PL 47:40): "After my prayer request came out in the Prayer List (that the Lord would remove a cyst from my ovaries without me having an operation), I went to the doctor for another checkup. After checking me, he said, 'You've been praying!' I answered, 'Not only me, but all of our Family around the world has been praying for me!' To this he said, 'Well, the Lord has answered your prayers, because it looks like the cyst has gotten smaller. When I double-checked the sonogram, the cyst which I had in my ovary had disappeared, and my ovary had started returning to its normal size!"
Pacific:
7. Faith Newlife: "When I first found out I was pregnant, I learned that there was a high chance of having a Down's syndrome child. The Lord answered our prayers and I had a short labor with an easy, natural delivery. The Lord blessed me with a sweet, healthy baby girl. Thank you for your prayers!"
PRAYER REQUESTS
CRITICAL OR LIFE-AND-DEATH SITUATIONS
8. Marie (of Michael), Asia: Advanced case of breast cancer. The doctors said that she has a very aggressive type of cancer which seems to have already spread to her lymph glands. They are recommending chemotherapy and a mastectomy, followed by another course of chemotherapy. Pray for wisdom in their decision-making, whether or not to take the medical route.
9. Melissa (8, of Michael and Michelle), Europe: Being treated for aplastic anemia (a disease of the bone marrow which stops it from producing blood cells) for the past four months, without any success. The situation is very serious, with a 50% chance of survival. If there is no progress by January, the doctors want to do a bone marrow transplant, which will be extremely painful and have prolonged side-effects at best, or be fatal at worst.
10. David (4, of Paul and Lily), Europe: After going seven months free of cancer, last month a new bump came up in the same general area. Tests showed that it was another cancerous tumor. Thankfully, it has not spread anywhere else and is still a local affliction. They removed the tumor surgically, and have put David on a new round of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Please pray for David and his parents, as this is understandably a big disappointment and discouragement. Pray for faith, strength and courage to make it through this test and trial; that the radiation treatments won't do any damage to David's body; and that the Lord will keep him through it all.
11. Sara (of David), Europe: For full recovery after her operation to remove cervical cancer. That the operation will be confirmed successful, and that no radiotherapy or chemotherapy follow-up will be needed. For healing of the "incurable" degenerative nerve disease that was brought on by the cancer.
12. Jasmine (of James), Pacific: Diagnosed with Huntington's disease, a degenerative hereditary neurological disease that is generally eventually fatal. For healing, and that her children will not have inherited the defective gene.
13. Marina, Pacific: Recently it was discovered that she had a cancerous tumor. She decided not to undergo an operation, and the tumor has been miraculously shrinking. However, she has since had severe stomach pains due to a buildup of gas. For strength, encouragement and God's anointing on the doctors. For continued healing of her tumor, and against any further occurrence of cancer.
ASIA
14. Turkey: Against any negative repercussions for the Work due to a security incident where two Family members were taken into custody while doing outreach and deported from the country.

34. Ester Louvor: Four months pregnant and suffering from pelvic endometriosis; against a fibroid tumor which is growing and threatening the baby.
35. Felipe (15, of Naum and Priscila): Hydrocele; that an operation will not be needed.
36. Maria Clara (5, of Mateo and Brunilda): Handicapped. Her teeth are getting weaker due to some strong antibiotics taken in the past. She will also be undergoing an even stronger treatment, which is quite difficult for her.
37. Sammy (4, of Josu and Ester): His broken leg is mending with a slight curvature, which would make his leg a few centimeters shorter than the other. That his leg will grow properly, so he will be able to walk normally.

51. Protection, anointing and wisdom for those fighting for religious freedom in Europe.
52. Against the passing into law of legislation that can be used to deny religious freedom, or legislation promoting "brainwashing" theories (which can be used against religious freedom) being considered in coming months in Switzerland, Ukraine, Romania and other countries. NOTICES AND TESTIMONIES OF ANSWERED PRAYER
Homegoing Notice:
Francis Abraham (North America), went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 14, 1997, after suffering from cancer of the colon and liver. Francis was very positive throughout his ordeal, and graduated peacefully in a nursing home, surrounded by loved ones from the Family.
Francis' parents got a real sample of God's love through the different Family members who cared for Francis. They were moved to tears when they came to visit--so much so that they donated several hundred dollars to different brethren who were caring for Francis. This is a complete miracle as his parents, who are Orthodox Jews, disowned him when he became a Christian and joined the Family, and they have always been rather hostile to Family. They were very impressed by Family members' care of Francis, and his father commented, "Now I understand. This is your true family." Francis' brother phoned after their parents' trip and said, "We don't know what you did to them, but Mom and Dad came back changed people."
Francis dictated a message after receiving a note and prophecy from Mama's Home. He had been moved into an intensive care unit the night before, as his vital signs were dropping while recovering from his second major surgery within a month. He was quite weak and could only whisper, but wanted very much to share the following with the Family. It was quite heart touching to see him fighting to get this out!
From Francis: "I want to talk to Mama and Peter and the Family in general. I'm so very touched by their overwhelming response to my being sick. I can hardly believe the tender love and appreciation being directed towards me. I've been receiving messages from all over the world, and a visit from a dear sister whom I forsook to the Lord's work, who came from across the ocean!
"I've got half my wall covered with cards and beautiful pictures of children. What a beautiful, lovely Family we have! I can't imagine what going through something like this would be like without the strong arm of Jesus to help pull me through. The brethren here have shaved me, bathed me, and taken care of my every need. They gave me so much!
"At this point I'll be departing for the spirit world very soon. A lot of people have asked for help from the spirit world, as it seems they just need a little spiritual boost, and I promise to do my best to help them be 'the best little daisy' they can. They just need a little help, and I promise I'll do my best to help them all I can.
"The only regret I have is not being able to go and help pioneer Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, but everything's been so beautiful, though an uphill fight. I guess I'll be able to come back and help everyone in all the little ways I can. Anyway, I'm just grateful! Thank You, Jesus!"
Testimony from Mercy (former mate of Francis and Annie): Before Francis went to be with the Lord, I was able to visit him. It had been many years since we had seen each other.
Mark had taken on the role of being Francis' personal "nurse". He is the husband of Joy, who went to be with the Lord last year in Alaska. He told me that his wife gave him a message, telling him to come and care for Francis till he went to be with the Lord. It was amazing to see him in action. God bless him! Francis' son, J.P., was also there along with the local brethren from the New Orleans Home and a sweet teen sister, Teresa, who came from Canada. It was beautiful to see these dear ones and how willing they were to help in any way with Francis. Thank the Lord for such loving and sacrificial brethren--a beautiful display of the love of the Lord in action.
From Glory (of Jeremias), Brazil:
Dear sweet brethren,
God bless all of you who are fighting with me for my health (see PL 47:15). I'd like to share how the Lord sent His healing touch over me; you were such an important part of this through your faithful prayers. I can hardly put it in the right words; I'm more than thankful!
It was a hard road of experience and desperation. I was holding on to the Lord, His written Word, His Words through prophecy, and desperate prayer. I learned to pray like everything depends on prayer. I never thought that I'd get cancer. It was so unexpected! When I first got the news, I was scared. I began thinking of Heaven. Then the light of peace shone on my heart, and in His sweet voice, the Lord reminded me, "Did I not turn the water into wine?" He has never let anything happen without a good reason, although at the time, I could not see how cancer could be good for me.
Five years ago we met Jane, the head nurse of the children's hospital in our city. She received the Lord and got filled with the Holy Spirit. We began to follow up on her and started a ministry in the hospital. When we discovered I had cancer, Jane was the key person involved in helping me get all the tests that I needed done right away, for free, without having to wait one or two months, as is usually the case. The cost of all my treatments would have been about US $30,000.
In spite of me being off of our Home schedule for the last five months, the Lord has blessed us financially. "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of Hosts" (Zechariah. 4:6b). Glory to His Name! Jeremias, my sweet husband, has been faithfully by my side. God bless him and all my loved ones here: Johannes, Abi, Brook, Clay, Tiago and Priscilla. They all made it possible for these miracles to happen.
Though I'm still a little weak and need lots of rest, I'm 500% better! So many miracles have happened and we have met many sweet people, all of which is the fruit of your prayers and the Lord working behind the scenes. Nothing would have happened the way it did without your prayers. I'm so thankful for all the time you took in prayer, and that you were open channels to receive the Lord's Words through prophecy for me! It was so nice to receive letters, e-mail, and words of comfort from you. It was an inspiration during trying times. Thank you for your prayers.
