For 14 years and up. Although JETTs are not permitted to read the Prayer Lists on their own, you parents and teachers may read it with them during Word time, or share prayer requests with them when having prayer vigil. Selected prayer requests, answers to prayer and testimonies of answered prayer may be read to younger age groups as well, at your discretion. Please be prayerful and use wisdom in what you share with JETTs or children. Be sure to present prayer requests in a positive spirit, explain things and answer any questions they may have.
ANSWERED PRAYERS
(Some of the answered prayers listed below were not mentioned as prayer requests in past Prayer Lists, but were prayed for locally. We include them here for your encouragement, and to glorify the Lord for His marvelous faithfulness in answering prayer!)
Dear Family,
God bless you! We love you and are so thankful for the wonderful Family He has given to each of us!He so wonderfully takes care of each of us, answering our every need, healing our many sicknesses, and helping us to reach the world with His Message of Love! Praise the Lord!
Thank you so much for continuing to uphold each of our dear members around the world and fight for them in prayer, specifically bringing these petitions before His Throne and thereby helping to bring about so many of His miraculous answers. Dad said, "He wants us to show concern and pray about it, and be specific about it. If you really believe, every prayer is heard and answered. But if you dont pray, it is not done! An awful lot depends on you. Its like you have to visualize the people youre praying for and pray specifically for them with that thought on your heart and ask the Lord to do this or that for them, and it is no sooner said than done. In fact, He often answers before you call because He knows youre going to" (ML #302:3).
Mama, Peter and WS Units:
1. Mamas staff (PL 27:44): One of the staff members healed from pelvic problems causing severe back pains.
South America:
2. Joao and Pandita (PL 26:143): Healed from serious injuries suffered in car accident. Pandita is walking almost normally without the use of crutches, and her physiotherapist is very surprised that she has recovered so quickly. (See testimony on page 14.)
3. Lily (of Paul) (PL 26:160): Easy and natural delivery of 10th child!
4. Rebecca Fiel (PL 26:146): The Lord provided free medical services and she had a successful operation to remove three cysts around her ovaries.
5. Marie (YA, formerly Blessing, of Andrew) (PL 26:174): Premature contractions stopped, and she is having a normal and healthy pregnancy.
6. Claudia (of Pedro) (PL 26:165): Experiencing much less pain from cyst on her ovary.
7. Miguel Angel (3 months, of Carmen) (PL 27:287): Jaundice mostly healed.
8. Heaven (of Timmy West): Safe, natural home delivery even though her last child was a Caesarean birth less than 1-1/2 years ago.
9. Carolina (Teen, of Shafan and Sharon) (PL 26:150): Healed of eye problems.
10. Maria Fe (Teen, of John and Fe): Totally healed of fungus in her lungs!
11. Gloria (of Jose) (PL 27:278): Recovered from emergency operation for peritonitis.
12. Lynn (PL 26:145): Recovered from surgery, and no further treatment necessary.
13. Joanna: Kidney and bladder infection healed without taking medication!
14. Argentine Gloria (PL 26:152): Healed of pains in arms and insomnia! (See testimony on page 15.)
15. Ester (of Italian Samuel) (PL 26:158): Healed of chronic anemia and having a good and healthy pregnancy.
16. Sara PI (of John R.) (PL 27:281): She is doing much better. Her thyroid is normalizing, as is her blood pressure and heartbeat, and the baby is growing fine.
Europe and Africa:
17. Victorious final outcome of Pearls case: After hearing final testimony from Pearl and a WS representative, as well as reading the recent GN, "An Answer to Him That Asketh Us," the judge decided to award care and control of S., Pearls son, to Pearl!
18. Problems in Albania resolved (PL 27:70): The house arrest has been lifted, all passports have been returned, and the brethren are free to continue their work as the Lord leads.
19. Mercy (PL 26:196): Infection in womb and ovaries healed.
20. Joy Harmony (PL 26:212): Healed from inflamed and painful joints.
21. Simon (PL 26:216): Back problems healed. (See testimony on page 16.)
22. Rachel (of Gideon) (PL 23:158): Safe delivery of healthy 12th child, Jeremy, whom the doctors had originally diagnosed as poss-ibly having Downs syndrome. (See testimony on page 16.)
23. Jason and Elia (of Aaron and Elizabeth): Both healed from cerebral malaria which had caused convulsions and unconsciousness!
24. Christina: Healed of insomnia. (See testimony on page 17.)
25. Jemima (PL 27:82): No further problems with pains in heart and breathing; feeling better and stronger and healthier in ninth pregnancy!
26. Lily Gypsy (PL 27:97): Fewer backaches, and several days in a row without pain, which is really a victory!
27. Eva (PL 26:209) Less frequent headaches and neck pains!
28. Willing (of Bruni) (PL 26:219): Hay fever no longer bothering him, and back is doing much better.
29. Gods Wheels of Judgement:
Poland: A mayor who had banned the Family from his city lost his bid for re-election! Also, a school principal who had openly accused the Family was humiliated and lost her credibility.
Belgium: The man who began legislation against religious freedom and NRMs recently died of a brain hemorrhage. The news media reported that he died "at the peak of his career."
Pacific:
30. Crystal (of Hab) (PL 19:83): Healed from breast cancer! (See testimony on page 17.)
31. Leilani (8 months): Wonderfully healed of eczema!
32. Joan (20): Drastically lessened problems with varicose veins during pregnancy.
33. Desire (6 months, of Chris and Lena) (PL 26:69): Growing well and showing no ill effects from low blood sugar!
34. Lena (of Chris): Pains in her heart and arms have dramatically subsided!
35. Nana (3, of Marty and Heaven): Multiple cysts on her ankle almost all gone.
36. Lily (12): Eczema has greatly diminished; hardly itches at all.
37. Promise J. (PL 22:167): Thyroid glands are operating better, and no side effects from medication shes taking.
38. Mark (of Mary) (PL 24:82): Real victories in fight against multiple sclerosis! He has greatly improved in strength, and has been getting out, although at one point it was difficult to even walk.
Asia:
39. Thai Abe (PL 24:39): On October 5th, after almost two years of fighting a brain tumor, dear Abe passed peacefully on to his reward in Heaven. He is now able to work together with Grandpa and our other Heavenly helpers to reach his people like never before! Praise the Lord!
Abe was our oldest Thai member, in the Family for almost nine years, and was admired and looked up to by the rest of our Thai nationals. He was known for his love for the Lord and others, his winning smile and his faithfulness to witness Gods Love all over his countrya real Thai Don Quixote who always relished trying something new.
We love you, Isaac (14-year-old son), and Christina (ex-mate). And though you may miss Abe, we know that the Lord is comforting and encouraging you through His Words of Love and the assurance that Abe is happily free from his struggle and pain, and better able to continue to help you from the Spirit World! He must be truly happy knowing that through his hospitalization a new ministry has opened up where the Family is able to sing and minister to the patients at the neurological center where he spent his last months. Praise the Lord!
40. No flooding in Bangkok: In spite of a lot of heavy rain, high tides, and the flood waters in the north of Thailand causing the river levels in Bangkok to rise almost to the same levels as in 1983 (when the city was severely flooded), the Lord answered prayer in a very miraculous way and kept the city from being flooded.
41. James (of Charity) (PL 15:70): Back problems have tremendously decreased!
42. Matthew: Bad groin infection completely healed.
43. Tim Servus (PL 26:99): Elbows much better and pain has subsided.
44. Paul: Healed of severe back problems, after being completely bedridden for a week.
45. David (9, of Vicky) (PL 26:85): Arthritis in knees healed.
46. Maria (YA): Delivered from epilepsy! (See testimony on page 17.)
47. Victor: Healed from diabetes, blood sugar level now normal!
48. Daughter of friend in Mideast (PL 27:184): The kidney transplant operation went very well and she is recovering quite fast!
49. Gods Wheels of Judgement: One of the most determined enemies we have had in Asia, a European businessman who has been breathing out threatenings against us, was shot dead by his ex-wife.
North America:
50. The Lord minimized negative repercussions from a bad TV show (PL 27:206).
51. Jonathan (of Amor) (PL 21:122): Tax problems were resolved when the IRS dropped the case, saying no taxes are owed.
52. Michael (7, of John and Rejoice): Healed from bad ear infection.
53. Angie (9, of Phil and Sandy): Sharp chest pains that she has had for a few years have ceased.
54. David Lamb (of Praise) (PL 27:240): Eczema healed. (See testimony on page 18.)
55. Michael (of Joy) (PL 27:259): Feeling much better and has regained strength after apparent heart attack.
56. Michael (of Mercy) (PL 23:96): Completely healed of respiratory problems.
57. F (of Valiant) (PL 27:262): Baby miraculously turned from a breech position in time for the birth.

CRITICAL OR LIFE-AND-DEATH SITUATIONS:
58. Faith (of Philip), Asia (PL 24:42): Breast cancer. Continued strength.
59. Swiss Phoebe, Europe (PL 24:41): Continued fight against Hodgkins Disease.
60. James (LINer): AIDS. For encouragement and faith.
61. Hope Gepetto (TS) (PL 21:69): Over one year ago doctors gave Hope just one to six months to live. Though she is no longer having radiation or chemotherapy treatments, the formerly very aggressive malignant tumor has stopped growing! Praise the Lord! This is a big testimony to all her astonished doctors. Please pray for her strength and encouragement, and for the Lord to continue to keep Hope close to Him and have His perfect way, either to completely heal her or take her Home to be with Him.
62. Reema Mercy (3-month-old baby of a close friend), Asia: She is not able to suck and swallow, and has to be fed through a tube. For the baby to be able to eat normally, for a miraculous healing of brain damage, and for convulsions to stop.
63. Mary Magdalene (3-month-old baby of a DF friend), Asia: She was born with a defect in her spinal cord and has to have surgery. For the Lord to anoint the doctors and for the babys complete healing.
MAMA, PETER AND WS UNITS

64. Mama and Peter: Continued wisdom, strength and anointing in leading the Family and passing on the Lords Words.
65. Mama: That the Lord will provide the physical strength and good health she needs. Against the Enemys attacks through headaches, sore eyes, colds or chills.
66. Peter: For the Lord to keep, protect and heal him from recurring heart pains. Against the Enemys attacks through headaches, neckaches and general weakness.
67. Mamas WS Leadership Teamwork: Wisdom, guidance and prayerfulness in helping Mama and the worldwide Family.
68. Mamas staff: Good health; faithfulness, inspiration and prayerfulness in helping to take care of the Queen and King.
69. Security of Mama and Peters Home: For their continued miraculous protection and safekeeping, as well as that of all our WS units and CRO offices.
WORLDWIDE
70. Wisdom, strength and anointing of CROs and their office staffs in handling the increased workload since the implementation of the Charter.
71. On-fire VS teams who will be an encouragement and inspiration to the Family, as well as the helpers needed for the families of these VS teams.
72. For all adults, YAs and teens on partial excommunication to grow and benefit from all the lessons and have a closer connection with the Lord and His Word.
73. Pioneering of the Christian Light Education program and for the conducting of diagnostic placement tests to go well.
74. For the following GP videos that are very close to completion: Fantastic Friends #2, the Endtime Documentary Video, final editing of Treasure Attic shows #7 and #8.
75. For the scripting of new Treasure Attic shows (#9, #10, Jesus TA, Old Testament TA, etc.). Plus continued work on: more Family Fun videos, "Statement" videos on persecution and socialization, and artwork for the Treasure Attic brochure and the "Songs of Life" brochure.
76. For Family members battling with gossiping and comparing to get the victory over these bad habits.
77. Guidance in ministering to our academic and legal friends.
78. For our large families to find fruitful fields of service and ministries, whether in their home countries or in far-flung fields. For courage and faith, and open doors.
79. Our YA and senior teen girls who are experiencing their first pregnancies: For good nutrition, good exercise and healthy pregnancies; for their physical, emotional and spiritual preparation; for supply of all needs and good places to have their babies; for easy, safe, full-term deliveries.
Court Cases
80. Australia:
For the civil suits to come through quickly and for the Lords will in whether they will be mediated or a court case. For the state governments plans and defense to come to nought.
For our lawyers helping with the civil suits.
81. That the appeal lodged for the closing of the French penal case will be granted.
82. For a speedy closure of the last aspect of the case in Argentina, and the full vindication of the Family.
83. England:
That the Lord will have His way with the judges written judgement, and that if possible, it will not go public, or that at least if it does, the judge will add his latest positive findings.
Against media attacks and further persecution.
SOUTH AMERICA
84. For home schooling to be approved in Brazil.
85. Greater unity and less conflict over differences of opinion amongst the members of a Ministry Home.
86. Supply of funds for needed equipment upgrades for the video ministry; wisdom and guidance in any purchases made.
87. Continued good visas for Family members in several countries, despite tightening of visa regulations.
88. Ecuador is suffering from a shortage of electricity due to lack of rain and other problems at the power plants. There are regular 8-hour power cuts during the day, greatly hindering our Homes and our friends; for rain and solutions to other problems.
89. Joseph Willing: Pinched nerve causing pain in right leg when he walks; disk out of place and arthritis in lower back.
90. Abner (formerly Lazaro, of Flor): Slipped disk in spine causing severe back pains.
91. Pandita (of Joao) (See answered prayer #2.): Complete recovery from car accident, and for her body to adapt to the plate in her pelvis. To be able to walk without crutches.
92. Maria Clara (4, of Mateo and Brunhilda): Crippled and unable to walk since birth; that her sphincter muscles will normalize, and her hips and legs will be strengthened so that she can walk.
93. Clara (of Felipe:) After an operation for a tubal pregnancy, it was discovered that her other tube is diseased. For healing of her tube, and for the Lords perfect will concerning Clara having another baby.
94. Sara (of Josias, pregnant with number 12): Severe diarrhea: During a previous fallopian pregnancy operation, her intestines were affected and cause her constant problems.
95. Vitoria (of David Newman, 4 months pregnant): Tumor the size of a golf ball in her right ovary.
96. Gracia (of Steven): That the cyst in her ovary will disappear without having to operate; against complications.
97. Samuel (2, of Josu and Esther): Visual defect causing problems focusing. That he wont need an operation.
98. Christian (4, of Primavera): Constant lingering colds and coughs.
99. Joy (13, of Jonathan and Priscila): Hernia.
100. David (8, of Jonathan and Priscila): Skin affliction in eyes and nose.

131. Maria Eli (Live-out): Pains in back and abdomen.
132. J., (friend and supporter): Suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and underwent surgery twice; complete healing and to regain full use of all his faculties.
133. C. (Family friend, 7 months pregnant): Bleeding, to carry the baby full term; against pain in her legs because of poor circulation.
134. S. (long-time Family friend): Infection in the tendons in his right arm, causing pain and hindering his work as a dentist.
135. A. (wife of a Family friend): Rheumatic heart problems; asthma and breathing difficulties.

EUROPE AND AFRICA
138. Kazakhstan: Protection from a group of radical Muslim extremists who are trying to cause trouble for the work.
139. Against attempts to try to discredit or hinder the ministry in the juvenile prison in Kazakhstan.
140. Continued supply of visas both in Russia and Eastern Europe, despite tightening restrictions.
141. Supply of needed funds to begin a major poster printing for the teams reaching Russia.
142. Against anti-NRM sentiments and passage of any government legislation that may hinder our work in Russia.
143. For open doors to minister to the many precious people met when doing relief work following the earthquake on Sakhalin Island.
144. Continued wisdom in shepherding the catacombers in Belorussia (PL 27:73).
145. Guidance and solutions concerning registration in Albania.
146. The work in Albania, the strengthening of the nationals and catacombers and for the Lords leading, blessing, fruitfulness and open doors in pioneering being done there.
147. Road trips in Russia and Eastern Europe: Fruitfulness, protection and safety.
148. For the recent negotiated ceasefire in the former Yugoslavia: That hostilities will end and not renew or spill over into Slovenia or Hungary (PL 27:76). The Hungarian airforce and border patrols were on high alert at one point, and there have been rumors that the fighting was going to spill over into Slovenia, where we have Homes.
149. Against the spread of recent epidemic outbreaks of diphtheria and cholera in Russia and the former republics (PL 27:63).
150. Against increasing negative media publicity in Poland and that it will not hinder our witnessing and outreach. For wisdom in knowing how to refute it, and for the Lord to raise up people wholl want to publish positive articles and our side of the story.
151. Open doors at an upcoming NRM conference, which will be held in December.
152. Against the continuing 10:36 problems in Romania; that they wont develop into any kind of action against the Family.
153. For the CTP ministry in Slovakia with orphans and neglected children.
154. Against church-backed persecution in Germany: That our friends and supporters will stand with us in spite of the barrage of misinformation being fed them by anti-cult groups.
155. Guidance and wisdom in reaching Spain again and re-opening Homes there. For the needed documentation to be able to start home schooling (PL 27:71).
156. Against malaria epidemic in Nigeria.
157. Rain for Southern Africa, as last year the rainfall was not sufficient and there has been water rationing as a result.
158. Against the passing of legislation in France which is designed to give government the power to attack NRMs. Also against ADFI, which is obviously behind the legislation and is pushing for it.
159. Betty (15): Frequent backaches and headaches.
160. Victoria: Eczema.
161. Joyful: Frequent headaches and black spots in vision.
162. Joshua (of Faith): Against high blood pressure and migraine headaches; for weight loss for health reasons.
163. Jonathan (of Mary) (PL 27:107): Restoration of sight in one eye after operation; for eye muscles to function properly and not require another operation.

206. Meekness (TS): Aftereffects of a concussion she had over a year-and-a-half ago, which make it difficult for her to use her eyes for an extended period of time (read, watch videos, etc.).

212. A. (friend of Family): Healing of her handicapped son who is suffering from migraines caused by high blood pressure. Also for the Lord to keep her ministry and supply for her, as she is facing some antagonism.
213. L.C. and wife (friends): That their Downs syndrome child will be able to walk, which doctors say is not possible.
214. Natalia (close friend of the Family): Severe backaches and migraine headaches.
215. Kwek (close friend): Strengthening of his mothers legs. Doctors want to put in an artificial knee cap; that this will not be necessary and she will respond to treatment.
216. R. (friend): For his mother, who is losing her sight.
217. D. (2, daughter of a friend): She has an incurable disease; for strength and comfort for her and her mother.

Im very thankful for all the Familys love and care during the difficult time I went through and still am going through as a result of the serious automobile accident that Joo and I were involved in. The Lord has given me relief and comfort in a beautiful and loving way. Praise the Lord! I felt that so many have interceded for me in prayer, with some even helping physically, and I am so thankful for everything. It is a sample of how our dear Family is so wonderful and helps one anothera beautiful example of the love and unity that we have. Thank You Jesus!
Through this experience I have felt the Lords Love closer, wanting to make me a better instrument for His work. I had been going through some trials at the time of the accident and was stressed out and very discouraged and fainting in my own mind, without the strength to fight to do what the Lord really wanted me to do, which was to put Him in first place in my life, to have the faith to go slow and trust Him without leaning to my own understanding. The Lord is so wonderful and loves us so much. He knows our hearts, and knew of my love for Him, and thats why He brought me closer. It was like a fall upward, praise the Lord!
The Lord was merciful and wonderful to me. Although I had a lot of broken bones, the Lord comforted me in different ways, giving beautiful and loving prophecies. At the same time He said that He couldnt alleviate the pain and spare me because I needed to learn the precious lessons He had for me, which I would not have learned any other way; but that He was feeling my pain. I cried out to the Lord in every moment of pain, suffering and anguish, and He comforted me, and showed me that He loved me and also that you all were praying for me. All the time I had a sweet sister with me, as well as others who fought with me in prayer. Praise the Lord!
I spent 40 days in the hospital, always in the same position, but honestly, they were precious days and I could hear the Lords voice. The doctors have been surprised with how quickly I have recuperated. I had nine fractured bones and a delicate and difficult operation on my pelvis. The whole thing turned out to be a total miracle and answer to everyones prayers. I left the hospital before the time the doctors had anticipated, and they also removed the cast before the appointed time. I can move around quite a bit and I can even walk well with crutches. I still need to rest, but the Lord is healing me quite quickly.
Now after this breaking, I want, by Gods grace, to follow Jesus closer, to have Him as my first love, and to follow Mama and Peters Letters as an example of loving Him more and being what He wants me to be. I want to live a life of more love, praise and thankfulness to Him for all that He so mercifully did for me!

The Lord healed my eyes after the prayer request was pubbed for people with eye problems. Id been using glasses for over six years and then, during my eighth pregnancy, at which time your eyes normally tend to get weaker, all of a sudden I realized my glasses were actually bothering me. I work at a computer the whole day, so its a miracle of God I dont need glasses any more. Thank You Jesus for an answer to prayer. No more glasses for me for the last two years!

I have a two-year-old daughter, Marina, who we recently found out is almost completely deaf in both ears, because I had German measles when I was pregnant. At first I was devastated and quite discouraged, but realizing that would not help things, I decided to fight and do what I could. Through visiting a specialist and different doctors, we found out that with the help of a hearing aid, she would have the possibility of being able to hear and thus to talk.
So we began to search for the hearing aid that she needed for her kind of deafness. We were shocked to find out that the two hearing devices would cost almost $4,000! It seemed like an impossible situation. We tried provisioning them from several companies here, and everyone said that it was impossible. I was getting quite desperate because it seemed that nothing was working out.
We heard from the Lord and He said that we should keep going, as He was going to do it. Soon I got a letter from a former Family member in Sweden who said the Family there would be willing to try to provision the hearing aids in Denmark! We really prayed for this, and one day we got a call from the brethren in Europe saying that the manager of a company with whom theyd talked, by a miracle, was going to come check on his company here in South America! After he arrived I phoned him and he said he would give us the two hearing aids for free! What a miracle! It really changed my life to see how God can do anything, and nothing is too hard for Him!

The Lord completely healed the allergy Ana had had on her face for quite some time. This problem started when a doctor prescribed a cream which contained cortisone, thus creating a dependency on it. Her face would break out every time she wouldnt put the cream on. Finally we found a dermatologist who explained what was going on, but who told us that if she gave up the cream, the allergy would get worse for about three months and that it would be quite painful. Ana decided to put it all in the Lords hands, quit taking all the medication, and prayed for a miraculous healing. The Lord answered prayer and for the last two months she hasnt had a single outbreak of the allergy and her face is even better than before!

Eleven-year-old Crystal was losing her hearing in one ear. The doctor had examined her and showed us that her ear drum was in the form of a funnel because the inner ear was sucking on it. During Sunday Fellowship we anointed her with oil and prayed for her, and when the doctor examined her again to see what kind of procedure to follow in her treatment, he found her ear to be completely normal. He couldnt believe it! He looked at her ear, then looked at her clinical record and then looked back at her ear again, only to see that it was completely normal. He couldnt figure out what had happened! We explained that it had been a miracle of the Lords healing power because of our prayers. He wound up donating his services, and also bought a "How to Win" tape! Praise the Lord!

Estrella and Rosita went to a hospital especially to pray for the daughter of one of the teachers of Estrellas sister who had been operated on to remove a malignant tumor. She was getting worse and feared that the tumor was growing again.
The doctors wanted to operate again, but after the Family prayed the doctors decided to do an encephalogram to check on the tumor first, and the examination showed there was no tumor! The doctor couldnt believe his eyes! What a miracle! Thank You Jesus!

An outside member arranged for us to meet a man who had cancer beginning to grow in different parts of his body. We had a communion and prayer time with him and his family. The meeting was very intense, as his family was very broken and pleading for his healing. In the next meeting with the doctor, he told him that one of the more serious outbreaks of cancer no longer appeared in the tests, and that the others were showing a slight decrease. A couple of years ago I couldnt even get out of bed to use the bathroom or drive a vehicle for even a short period without experiencing a lot of pain. I was living a pretty sedentary life and at times would feel discouraged, thinking I was a "has-been." I was on prayer lists many times and my back definitely improved, but still I was limited in what I could do. However, recently, since we made a firm decision to launch out by faith to go to Eastern Europe, I have been absolutely amazed how much I have been able to do by the Lords grace! I am pretty much back to full health and very active. Any time I do get slight pains, I now recognize it as a signal from the Lord to take time with Him and slow down and be more prayerful, as I tend to be impulsive. Thank you for your prayersthey have certainly been answered! Im so thankful to be part of such a loving Family with members who care enough to pray for their brethren, even those theyve never met.

Halfway through my pregnancy, the doctor discovered that I had a problem with hypothyroidism (low thyroid condition) and he was not sure how this was going to affect the growth of the baby and its mental development. He sent me for further tests, and then they also discovered there was a high risk that the child would be born with Downs syndrome. Of course the doctors were sure to tell me about all the other risks connected with having so many children (this is number 12). After my prayer request appeared, I started to receive letters of encouragement from all over the world, and I can not tell you how touched I have been by these letters. They have brought tears to my eyes and it has made me so thankful to have such a wonderful, loving Family. My oldest daughter, Magdalene, whom I had not seen for nearly eight years, arranged a flight from Thailand, where she has been faithfully serving the Lord, to be with me for the birth. I could not believe how the Lord worked everything out. The baby arrived early but Magdalene and two of my other daughters were at the birth, along with my husband, who was supposed to be abroad that week. His trip was postponed at the last minute!
It was an easy birth, and against all odds and in answer to our prayers Jeremy was born perfectly healthy. Praise the Lord! The Lord has been so good to me and this has been a very special time for me, getting to know my new son and reestablishing my relationship with my eldest daughter. Thank you for praying for me! I really love and appreciate you all.

For years I could not go to sleep until way after midnight, due to problems with insomnia. Now that I am pregnant, the problem worsened, and I was always having to sleep late and miss devotions because I would not go to sleep until around two oclock in the morning. After sending out my prayer request, I havent had problems sleepingnot even for one night. I go to sleep right away and I get a good rest! Thank you for praying for me. Previously, the doctor had wanted to operate in a week, but now he doesnt want her to visit him for nine months. The Lord has definitely reversed her condition and healed her!
More Answered Prayer Regarding Liz Greys Homegoing, Asia:
(See PL 27:16.) When dear Liz was still with us and hospitalized, we prayed about whether we should bring her home or keep her at the hospital, and the Lord indicated in prophecy quite a few times that He had many sheep at the hospital. Just before she went to be with the Lord, we did have Liz come home, but while still at the hospital we had met Alice, a Filipina Christian, who got very interested in the Family.
Alice refuses to be called a visitor now, as she says shes one of us. Shes read all of Treasures and Growing in Love and Growing in Faith, and devours the Word we give her! It seems the Lord is really fulfilling the prophecies that we received about the hospital being a mission field. We also met many other sweet people, but there wasnt any big breakthrough in our witnessing at the hospital until after Liz went to be with the Lord. Now its starting to blossom and Alice has brought a number of her friends to our house, they have all gotten saved, and have in turn brought more!
What were so amazed about is that were hardly doing anythingthe Lord is just doing it all! Last week a few of us had to go to the hospital where Liz stayed and we met so many people there, people greeted us and treated us like old friends.
It was also Lizs hearts desire that we would have more regular visitors in our house. The day she went to be with the Lord was when we had our first four or five visitors for our Sunday "Open House," and every Sunday since then, people have been coming. Last week we had 16 visitors! Witnessing and having visitors to our Home was always Lizs desire, and we feel that dear Liz must be helping us from the Other World! Were so, so thankful for her!

(See answered prayer #46.) Maria had been wanting to get a brain scan to check on her epileptic condition. She had fears that a brain tumor or something else might be causing her convulsions, even though they only happened very rarely. So before she left for her new Home we were able to get an appointment for her for a check-up. The doctor could find nothing wrong with her brain and said it is completely normal, nor could he see any signs or evidence of epilepsy! Praise the Lord!

One of our new friends who helped one of our furloughing teams with their tickets recently needed a lung operation, and her husband needed a heart bypass. So they had flown to London for these operations. We had prayer for their healing, and when we went to see their daughter, who is still here, she said, "My mother has recovered and did not need the operation. When they reached London the doctors said that my father did not need a bypass operation after all! Instead of languishing in hospital beds in London, they have gone on a vacation to the U.S.A.!"

The Lord encouraged my mothers faith with a healing miracle. Shes had four ulcers on her leg for the last four months which were getting deeper and deeper. While she was visiting our Home, we all got together, anointed her with oil, claimed verses, laid hands on her and desperately prayed for her complete healing. A few days later, they dried up completely and were healed. Thank You Jesus! We did the same for another muscle disease she has and she has started to feel better. We had daily devotions and prayer time together with her. At the end of her stay, she said, "With my diseases, I didnt feel I could make it here and travel for two weeks, but I knew in my heart that if I came to visit you, everything would be all right. I feel renewed, at peace and so happy."

(See answered prayer #54.) Ive been suffering from eczema for nine consecutive years now. The itch and the rash on my back, arms, legs, scalp, etc., was such a daily battle for a long, long time! I would often scratch myself till I bled! The doctor whom I often see referred me to a skin specialist who said that my condition is hereditary and that there is no cure for it! He prescribed creams and anti-itch pills to "control" the discomfort, but they proved futile. I wasnt getting any better!
Ive wanted to send my prayer request in for quite a while but never did, primarily because of my lack of faith! Through the years, my faith for healing has weakened due to my acceptance of my affliction, and I consequently leaned more on some "cure" that the physicians and their medicines might provide! A week after I sent my prayer request in, though, my condition started improving! I have not been scratching anymore and the remaining rash is healing up rapidly without the aid of creams and pills! Thank You Jesus!
I believe the Lord would have lifted this affliction sooner had I taken the step of faith and obedience to ask for prayer earlier from our dear worldwide Family. I count my healing as the Lord showing me personally in a big, big way how much He really loves me! Ive been undeserving in countless ways, but His unconditional Love is always there! This miracle is truly changing my walk with Him, as He is also enabling me to think more about Him, His Word, His Love and the many different blessings we could avail ourselves of simply because were His kids and He loves us so much! Thank You Jesus!

Our seven-month-old baby suddenly developed a fever of 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Centigrade), with vomiting and diarrhea. He was very sick. We got together and anointed him with oil, and the fever started going down at that minute. Later that day we had a Sunday Fellowship, and as everyone was praying for him during communion, the fever broke. The Lord did a miracle before our eyes!

I had a nine-and-a-half year gap between my last two children. With this pregnancy, I was concerned because of my age (38). So I sent a prayer request that I would have a fast, easy, normal delivery and that the baby would come out healthy and strong and without complications. The Lord gave me the verse, "He that hath begun a good work in you shall perform it to the end," and told me this child is a gift of love to me so Hes going to see me through. So on May 1st, out came Joshua Reuben, after a short labor and just three pushes.

A Live-out members mother was suddenly taken to hospital suffering from a burst blood vessel in her brain. Initially the doctors were very concerned and felt the situation was very serious. Yet after all the Homes in the area had desperate prayer for the situation, she was miraculously doing so well that she was allowed to go home within one day.

Ive been plagued with allergies and hay fever most of my life. Since last fall, I havent had one attack of allergy! This is truly an answer to prayer and even an undeserved blessing, as Id sort of "given up" and not even wanted to pray because I just always had allergies. "Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loadeth us with benefits" (Psa.68:19). Also, after one year of having to care for a stomach ulcer, I havent had any major pain or adverse effects for about two months.

For the last nine years, Id been having pretty much constant migraine headaches for which there seemed to be no cure. Though I learned to put up with them, they used to bother me a lot. The Home prayed for me two months ago. Everyone including the kids laid hands on me and prayed and rebuked these migraine headaches. Its a miracle, as from that day on, I have not had even a trace of these headaches! Thank You Jesus! Im so thankful to the Lord for His miraculous healing and His Love for me!

Anthony, a Sri Lankan officer on a merchant ship, is a Christian, whom we met going ship-to-ship. At his first meeting with Stephan, he had asked for prayer for a strange pain in his knee. He was concerned about it, as in his work he needs to climb a lot, and the pain has been a serious handicap. We saw Anthony again over a week later, and he excitedly exclaimed, "Thank you for your prayers! My knee is completely healed!"

Ive had a real battle with migraine headaches for the last two to three years, but after putting my prayer request on the Prayer List I havent had one for the past three months! I am totally healed from this affliction which would attack me two to three times a month. Thank you so much for praying for me. It really made me appreciate my brothers and sisters who are always there when I need them. Most of all, I thank the Lord, Who is the Great Physician!

One of our catacombers children got very sick with a high fever and lost many of her bodily functions. Our catacomber friends came to ask for prayer for her in the middle of the night. Our Home got together to pray, and the next day she was completely healed.

While we were in India doing the benefit concerts, we sang at a large prison where a number of foreigners were being held. I witnessed to a Swiss man who had served five months of a 10-year sentence, which he said had been given quite hastily, and without much of a trial. His lawyer had given up fighting for his release after being paid his fee. He had an Indian wife with two small children whom she now had to raise in a village without any means of support. He was ready to start a hunger strike to bring his hardship to peoples attention.
I encouraged him to hold on to the Lord and not give up, and he asked me how he could not get bitter in such a situation. He held my arm, begging me to convince him there was still something to hold on to. I pleaded with him to keep on believing and promised to pray for him. Meeting him and the others there in that prison was to us one of the most important parts of our whole visit to India, to show them that we cared and they had not been forgotten.
After we returned home, I sent two letters to the Swiss Embassy in India, asking them to check on this man. Even if they couldnt help him, I suggested that at least they could show him that some of his own countrymen cared enough to visit him in his despair. I received a reply from the embassy a couple of days ago saying they had visited him, and he had been released two months after our visit to the jail! Praise the Lord! Thank God for His mercy, which Im sure this man will never forget!
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE LONG-TERM PRAYER LIST
As a reminder, we thought it might be helpful to include a brief summary of the main topics covered in the last long-term list (PL 25). Hopefully this will come in handy to jog your memory in praying for these topics in case youre having prayer time and PL 25 is not available. If you wish, you can even copy down this list of topics to carry with you so you can pray for them in situations when you cant have the Prayer List with you, such as when out in town or taking public transport, etc. However, this is not meant as a substitute for PL 25, so please do try to refer to PL 25 for the specifics of each request whenever possible.
In order to make sure that the prayer requests from the long-term list are not forgotten, you may want to try praying for at least two requests from the long-term list every day, along with some of the requests from this Prayer List and your Continental Prayer List.
