For 14 years and up. Although JETTs are not permitted to read the Prayer Lists on their own, you parents and teachers may read it with them during Word time, or share prayer requests with them when having prayer vigil. Selected prayer requests, answers to prayer and testimonies of answered prayer may be read to younger age groups as well, at your discretion. Please be prayerful and use wisdom in what you share with JETTs or children. Be sure to present prayer requests in a positive spirit, explain things and answer any questions they may have.
ANSWERED PRAYERS
(Some of the answered prayers listed below were not mentioned as prayer requests in past Prayer Lists, but were prayed for locally. Weve included them here for your encouragement, and to glorify the Lord for His marvelous faithfulness in answering prayer!)
Pacific:
1. Marie Claire (22) (PL 24:203): Fully recovered from several operations due to pregnancy complications, which left her quite weak and at risk of contracting cancer. Her hormone level has miraculously returned to normal and there are no signs of any cancer.
2. Crystal (of Hab) (PL 24:199): Tests show that the precancerous cells in her breast have disappeared, and there is no sign of cancer, thank the Lord! (See testimony on page 11.)
3. Theresa (of Jimmy): Bleeding during pregnancy stopped, strength regained, healthy baby delivered full-term!
4. Francis: "After being nearly incapable of walking and having continual pain due to a fractured, dislocated vertebra which was pinching my spinal cord and making my left leg weak, the Lord answered prayer and Im now able to walk and am gaining strength!"
Asia:
5. Noelle (4 months, of Stevie and Ruthie) (PL 24:35): Has been able to drink and is gaining weight, thanks to the Familys prayers!
6. Hannah (PL 24:91): Completely recovered from tubal pregnancy.
7. Michael Bear (PL 14:122): Less frequent headaches and back pains.
8. Paul Martin (4, of David and Crystal) (PL 14:124): Testicles have descended (see testimony on page 13).
9. Celeste (PL 21:245): Important legal paperwork came through.
10. Simon Fighter (PL 22:180): No more severe migraine headaches.
11. Mary (catacomber) (PL 17:88): Healed of eye affliction.
12. James (of Julie) and Jonathan (14, of Asaph and Charity) (PL 24:104,105): Almost completely healed from severe bronchitis.
13. Josef: Healed of serious arm infection, without the need for hospitalization.
North America:
14. Dr. Chris (of Steven) (PL 24:119): Although Chris was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, after a prayer request went out to the Family for her, further tests revealed all signs of the disease had miraculously disappeared! The painful symptoms she experienced have also gone away, and the Lord restored her to full health! (See testimony on page 14.)
15. Daniel (PL 24:122): Healed of chronic urinary tract infections in the prostrate gland (see testimony on page 12).
16. Sarah (YA) (PL 24:120): Recovering speedily from a rare disease which attacked her nervous system and resulted in paralysis. Sarah can now walk with a cane and has nearly regained full use of her hands, feet and body functions. The pain in her legs has also greatly subsided, and there appears to be no permanent damage, thank the Lord! The Lord also did a big miracle in working it out for the government to pay for Sarahs large hospital bill.
17. Tirzah (PL 24:134): Safe delivery of number 10; baby turned from breech position just in time to come out.
18. Rachele (YA, of Nathan and Sarai) (FUN 29): Recovered well from an operation to remove an ovarian cyst. The Lord provided a very sweet doctor and hospital who donated their services free of charge!
19. Mercy (of Bill) (PL 24:145): Has had hardly any problems with her hernia even though shes in her eighth month of pregnancy with her 12th child.
South America:
20. Great news from Argentina! The report from the Argentine attorney general regarding our case (PL 24:75) was favorable! The attorney general concurred with the ruling by the Court of Appeals exonerating all the Family members, and recommended to the Supreme Court that this verdict be upheld.
On June 29th, the Supreme Court decided to uphold the Appeals Court verdict and ruled against the appeal that the federal prosecutors had launched against that verdict. This means that Judge Marquevich is now definitely out of the case altogether, as if the Supreme Court had ruled against us our case would have been back in Marquevichs court. The case is now transferred to the Provincial Court where it must be examined before it can be finally closed.
21. Trust (of James) (PL 23:38; 24:155): Despite her handicapped state (complete loss of limbs and speech), Trust has been very happy and lively, smiling and cheering others up. Shes also gaining weight and looks very healthy. In answer to prayer, the Lord supplied a large donation plus a 50% airline discount. This provided James and Trust with the means to move to the Philippines, where the Lord had indicated they should go so she can receive better care.
22. Luis David (13 months, of Juan and Estrella): Healed of frequent vomiting which was hindering his eating.
23. Brazilian Sunny (FUN 29): Feeling much stronger and less anemic during last month of pregnancy.
Europe:
24. Debbie: Debbie was suffering from partial paralysis in her legs and right hand due to a tumor on her spine at the base of her neck. An urgent prayer request was sent out to all Family Homes for the delicate operation that was to be performed to try to remove the tumor. The operation was a success and Debbie is now undergoing rehabilitative therapy to regain full use of her limbs. Praise the Lord! (See note from Debbie on page 11.)
25. Abi (PL 24:173): Tests reveal no further signs of cancer after a successful operation to remove cancerous cells from her cervix!
26. Rachel (of Gideon) (PL 23:158): Her 12th child was born safely and completely healthy, despite tests during pregnancy which indicated he might have had Downs syndrome.
27. Croatian team: The Lord kept them safe during rocket attacks on Zagreb by Serb forces.
28. Spanish Victoria (PL 22:143): Legs strengthened (one of her legs is crippled).
29. Rosemarie (of Joseph) (PL 23:153): Seventh child born without complications. Delivery was smooth and baby is healthy.
30. Heaven (of Joseph) (PL 23:154): Heaven gave birth to twin girls (her 12th and 13th children), both of them in perfect health--her second set of twins in two years! The delivery went very smoothly and the Lord kept Heaven in good health throughout her pregnancy.
31. Mercy (PL 23:163): Healed without medication from a serious bladder infection.
32. Matthew (TS) (PL 22:147): Healed of back problems. He recently wrote: "My back has never been so well in the last six years. For the last two years I had to go to a chiropractor about every three months, but now I havent been there for over six months. Please thank the Family for their prayers--they have really helped!"
PRAYER REQUESTS
CRITICAL OR LIFE-AND-DEATH SITUATIONS:
33. Kalita (of Obadias), South America: Cancer, resulting in painful tumors, inflammation of the cervix, serious weight loss, headaches and dizziness. For a miraculous healing and deliverance from this disease, and that the painful symptoms will disappear quickly. For Kalitas encouragement, faith and trust.
34. Liz Grey (69), Asia (PL 24:38): She is not experiencing as much pain, which is a victory, but she is bedridden and very weak as a result of her cancer. It seems that she may not have much longer with us on Earth. For peace, faith and trust, and for continued deliverance from pain. That those who are caring for her will know how to best meet her needs and be a real strength to her during this time.
35. Heidi (of Peter), Australia (PL 24:40): Advanced case of cancer of the cervix, which has recently taken a turn for the worst, infecting her lungs. For miraculous deliverance and healing. That the painful symptoms will subside or disappear altogether. For continued faith and trust, and good care from those around her.
36. Thai Abe, Asia (PL 24:39): Against bedsores and pains in his left arm as he continues his fight against a large brain tumor.
37. Faith (of Philip), Asia (PL 24:42): Breast cancer. For strength, against weakness, dizziness, and pain in her left arm.
38. Swiss Phoebe, Europe (PL 24:41): Continued fight against Hodgkins Disease.
39. James (LINer): AIDS. For encouragement and faith.
MAMA AND WS LEADERSHIP
40. Peter: Against a recurring pain in his neck, resulting in headaches which hinder his sleep at night.
41. Mamas staff: Healing of a long-standing back problem of one staff member, and against migraine headaches of another. Both have been improving remarkably since you, our dear Family, have prayed for them; the back problem is only occasional, and the headaches less severe.

WORLDWIDE
Parents and Children
42. For the establishment of Family and Education Departments (FED) in each CRO area: that the Lord will raise up the right personnel for the job, supply their needs, and make them a great blessing in providing childcare, family and educational assistance to the Homes in their area.
WS Pubs and Tools
43. For the soon completion of the Christian Vocational College (CVC) program, a massive educational pubs project that will be a great boost to our teens schooling and vocational training.
44. That a childcare book being worked on by Family Care will be finalized soon.
45. For the compilation, proofreading and programming of an electronic pubs library that would make many of our pubs available to the Homes on computer.
46. GP videos:
Completion of Fantastic Friends show #2 and editing of Treasure Attic shows #7 and #8.
Completion of a "signs of the times" Endtime documentary video.
Filming and editing of the Endtime music video.
47. Other video projects: More Family Fun videos; "Statement" videos on Family education, persecution and socialization; and a GP "Raise em Right" video series.
48. Audio studios: Finalizing and cover artwork for a new GP Scripture song tape; production of new GP and DO/TS tapes. For our WS and local-language studios, and for the training of YA staff members in audio production/arrangement.
Home Affairs
49. Continued implementation of the Charter: That all of us will learn to apply the Charter in the loving spirit in which it was given, with a great measure of love and understanding for one another. That the members in each Home can work together with great unity as they make decisions regarding the governing of their Home.
50. For new pioneer teams and Homes opening as a result of the Charter: Supply, unity, and a clear channel with the Lord as they seek His leading and direction each step of the way.
51. That the Lord will help each of us to look to Him more in prayer for His guidance in our lives and our Homes. For faith to follow the Lords leading in implementing His plan for each Home and individual.
52. That all personnel moves will be done prayerfully, in love, with good communication, and according to the Lords will and plan. That our finances, outreach and ministry to our friends, contacts and the needy will not suffer as a result of these changes.
53. For the setting up of Service Homes in each area. That the Lord will raise up the right personnel for these Homes, and that the services they provide will be a big blessing to the Homes. For unity and good teamwork between all Home members.
54. For the Lords leading of the CROs as they pray and counsel about upcoming VS appointments for each country or area. That the Lord will prepare the hearts of those who will be VSs for their upcoming role of visiting and lovingly helping the Homes in their area.
55. Finances: For stable finances during this time of change. For the Lords supply of travel and landing funds and home support for those moving to new mission fields. For unity and faith as Home members learn to make united decisions regarding the management of their Homes finances.
Persecution and Media
56. For widespread distribution of the book about the Family, Sex, Slander and Salvation (edited by Jim Lewis), particularly among professionals, academics and government agencies. For the finalizing of Gordon Meltons booklet on the Family, which hopefully will be translated and distributed worldwide.
Court Cases
57. England:
For a positive outcome of Pearls case, that would allow Sammy to remain with Pearl in the Family. For strength and wisdom for Pearl, our lawyers, and the BI legal team.
58. Argentina:
Following the wonderful victory in the Supreme Court, that the Provincial Court, now ultimately responsible for the case, will completely close it.
That the parliamentary committee which is conducting hearings on Marquevichs actions will decide to impeach him.
For our main lawyer, who has helped us win our case and is presently working hard at getting our case through the Provincial Court and pushing our civil suits through the courts. For good progress in these civil suits against our main detractors there.
59. France:
For the criminal case to be completely closed.
Continued supply of funds needed for our defense.
60. Australia:
Our civil suits against social services (DOCS) in Sydney: for a speedy settlement in our favor; for our lawyers faith, strength, wisdom and health.
That a proposal to the New South Wales parliament requesting an official inquiry into the raids on the Homes two years ago will have the desired effect and result in such an inquiry being initiated.
PACIFIC
61. For continued safety, security, fruitfulness and supply for our Homes in Japan, as the very negative publicity that the Aum Shinri-kyo group received has turned the general public against new religious movements in general.
62. For the Lords leading and provision for our Homes in New South Wales, Australia, as they learn to operate under new laws which restrict fund-raising activities of religious associations. For continued follow-up of their friends and contacts, and open doors for support.
63. For wisdom in dealing with a former landlord in Japan who is requiring the Family to restore his property to its original state (the Home did major structural improvements and modifications due to the propertys run-down condition when they first moved in years ago). This would be a massive and difficult undertaking. That the landlord will be understanding and agree to let the property stand as is.
64. Political stability in a Pacific country where we have a Home.
65. Visas needed for personnel involved with the IVM.
66. Donna (of Warren, TS): Diagnosed as having precancerous cells in her cervix. That the cells will return to normal and not develop into any form of cancer.
67. Mark (of Mary): Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. That the symptoms will subside and that he will miraculously regain full use of his left leg. For strength and against discouragement.
68. Japanese Art: Heart pains and numbness in fingers and feet.
69. Desiree (2 months, of Chris and Lena): Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
70. Mercy: Retina of the eye is deteriorating, due to a high degree of myopia (near-sightedness).
71. Giddel and Kumiko: Needed paperwork for their children.
72. Joyanne (6, of Dove): That the Lord will strengthen the muscle in her eyelid so it can open normally, without need for surgery.
73. Jerry: For the healing of the sinus at the base of his spine.
74. Faithy (Paula): Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). For complete healing and deliverance. For full restoration of Faithys strength.
ASIA
75. Local language ministries: For translators and proofreaders who can help get the Word into Urdu, Kanada, Tamil and Telegu.
76. Christian Karen refugees on the Thai/Burmese border: that the Lord will comfort, keep and protect them, as their camps have been regularly attacked by the Burmese army.
77. South East Asia pioneering staging Home: Personnel, supply and open doors.
78. For open doors in pioneering Vietnam: Long-term visas, supply, protection and safety.
79. Pakistan: Against sectarian violence. For peace so the Family can continue its ministry there.
80. Indian deaf ministry: Continued fruitfulness.
81. Paul: Needed paperwork for his children.
82. Angel: Recurring pains in lower abdomen.
83. Benny: Chest pains.
84. Crystal Dear: Pain in lower side.
85. David (9, of Vicky): Recurring arthritis attacks in the knee. For testicles to descend properly. For wisdom in seeking medical advice.

NORTH AMERICA
102. For the Lords protection of the Homes in Quebec after a wave of negative newspaper articles and a TV broadcast.
103. For the follow-up of those met and ministered to in Oklahoma City after the recent bomb disaster there.
104. That a documentary being made about the Family will be positive and fair, presenting the truth and not the lies of our detractors. Also that two other TV programs that are being prepared on the Family, which include interviews with ex-members, will be fair and present our side. For our media teams wisdom in dealing with those preparing these programs.
105. That a rehash of the 20/20 program on Barz which was recently shown on the Discovery cable channel, will not be aired again in August as planned. For the Lords leading of the media team as to whether or not they should give an interview/rebuttal to the program.
106. For the preparation of the team who will be attending an important upcoming academic conference.
107. Abi (Damaris): Against painful backaches. That her back will be strengthened despite the strain of much traveling and Home visitation.
108. Miguel (10, of Josue and Abi): Serious sinus inflammation.
109. Serena (Ellie Joy): That surgery to correct her left kidney, which is malfunctioning, will go smoothly.
110. Sammy (6, of Peter and Topaz): For realignment of a broken leg bone, which had started to heal out of place. That both his legs will grow at the same rate.
111. Pearl (of John Paul and Vine): That further surgery on her legs will be successful.
112. Samuel Siervo: Pain caused by spinal disk pressing on a tendon.
113. Belen Siervo, Magdalena: Varicose veins.
114. Luz (of Josue): Weight loss.

125. Dawn (19): Crooked spine and pelvic bone, resulting in pain in the arms, legs and lower back.
126. Crystal (15, of Peter and Sara): Scoliosis (curvature of the spine). Against resultant back pain.
127. Miracle (11, of Claire): For removal of nasal blockage which hinders her breathing.
128. Ruthie Q. (15, of Esther): Restoration of full hearing; against recurring ear infections.
129. Karen (11, of John and Charity): Skin problem on legs and arms.
130. Jessica (4, of Valiant and Fe): Loss of hearing in both ears due to nerve damage. For supply of needed hearing aids. That her condition will get better as her ears continue to develop.
131. Nathaniel (7, names of parents not given): Recurring debilitating asthma.
132. Patience: Eczema.
133. Timmy (6, of Francis and Joanna): Severe psoriasis (skin disease).
134. Francis (of Joanna): Recurring effects of poison ivy.

138. Joy Pioneer (TS): Failing kidney transplant. For healing without the need for dialysis.

SOUTH AMERICA
141. Speedy end to pending court cases involving Family Homes in Brazil. The recent verdict by an appeals court in favor of the Family has been a great help in closing the main case, but the judicial system moves slowly and there seem to be a few more hurdles and red tape to overcome.
142. That legislation opening the door for home schooling in Brazil, presently pending before the Brazilian parliament, will be voted into law.
143. Joao and Pandita: Both suffered serious injuries after a truck drove into their lane on the highway and smashed into the front of their car. Pandita underwent a couple of operations for broken ribs and pelvis, which went miraculously well, thank the Lord! For a full and speedy recovery, and that her body will accept the platinum plate placed in her pelvis. For the Lords supply for their medical expenses.
144. That a new visa law being considered by a Latin American country will make it possible for our non-national Family to continue operating there without frequent visa trips.
145. Lynn: Full recovery from an operation to remove her cervix, which had been diagnosed with a pre-cancerous condition. That no further treatment will be necessary, and there will be no recurrence of the pre-cancerous cells in her body.
146. Rebecca Fiel: Diagnosed as having three large cysts around her ovaries, causing pain and swelling. For complete natural healing, or that if it be the Lords will for her to undergo an operation, that He will anoint the doctors and supply a good anesthesiologist.
147. Brazilian Aurora: Insomnia, back pains, headaches.
148. Patricia (15, of Juan and Estrella): Eczema on her hands.
149. Autistic daughter of Simon and Abigail (TS): For good progress in her development. That she will respond well to her therapy and special care.
150. Carolina (DO teen, of TSers Shafan and Sharon): For the removal of cells in her eye which obstruct her vision.
151. Celeste (of Philip): Anemia.
152. Gloria Argentine: Sharp pains in her left arm which keep her up at night.
153. Luz (6, of David and Lily): For four years she has had a case of photofobia (extreme sensitivity to light, causing discomfort and pain in the eyes), with no apparent medical cause.
154. Joannas children: Joanna, a single mom with four kids, went to be with the Lord after a sudden illness (see FUN 28). That the childrens father, who is TS, will be able to obtain custody of them and that Joannas brother, a minors judge who presently has custody of the children, will be helpful.
155. Mercy Plodding Farmer, Sara (of Matthew), Hepsibah (16): Strong back pains.
156. Gabriela (6, of Paulo and Luz), Tamara (TS): Hearing difficulties.
157. Rafael (3, of Mateus and Kerenina): Lump in his groin.
158. Esther (of Samuele): For a healthy pregnancy despite chronic anemia. Against severe morning sickness. For faith and trust.
159. Rubi: Pregnant with number eight; against fatigue and shortness of breath; for strength enough to exercise.
160. Lily (of Paul), and Amy Encouraging: Good health during their tenth pregnancies. Safe deliveries with supportive doctors.
161. Maria Angelica: Insomnia.
162. Andres David (6, of Miguel and Joy): For clear speech. That those in his Home will be a loving help to him.
163. Victoria (of David Newman): Frequent bleeding, cause unknown.
164. Jemima (1, of Emanuel and Clara) (TS): Mouth sores; that her immune system will be strengthened.
165. Claudia (of Pedro): Against myomas (growths) in her uterus which cause intense pain during menstruation.
166. India (of Gary): Allergy on her fingers.
167. Joy (of Emanuel): Varicose veins.
168. Heidi (16) and Tamar (14, of Emanuel and Joy), Michelle (15): Fungus on back.
169. David: Arthritis in knees.
170. Jay P. (YA): Frequent headaches.
171. Christopher (11, of John and Angel): Asthma; for weight-gain.
172. Timoteo de la Montaa: Back pains, dizziness and pressure in his chest.
173. Praise: Inflammation of joints in shoulders, wrists and fingers; sores on arms and legs.
174. Marie (Blessing, of Andrew): Premature contractions at four months. That the contractions will stop, and the baby will develop properly. That Marie will not need to stay in bed throughout her term.
175. Ana: Lupus, causing her face to react allergically to the sun.
176. Tracy: Sharp back pains.
177. Carolina (of Seth): Strength and encouragement through menopause.
178. Jordan (of Maria): Hernia in his spinal column, causing scoliosis and strong back pains.
179. Becky (6): Breathing difficulties.
180. Steven and Jessica: Needed legal paperwork for their baby.
181. James Reborn (of Rebecca): Needed legal paperwork.
182. Meek: Legal paperwork involving her ex-mate who is not in the Family.
EUROPE
183. Homes closing in Western Europe in response to "Find Fertile Fields" (ML #2973): For the Lords continued miraculous supply to pay off any debts and bills; that closing contracts and other legalities will go smoothly. For new open doors in other fields for each Home closing down. For those in Eastern Europe or other fields who are preparing to receive Family members leaving Western Europe.
184. For the Lords protection from a media storm that is apparently brewing in a number of West European countries, as antagonistic media outlets seem to be preparing negative stories on the Family. That the Family will be able to weather the storm, and the Lord will use it to His glory, causing the wrath of man to praise Him, and turn it around into a positive witness. For the Lords anointing on our media teams as they respond with the truth, and that the media will print our side of the story.
185. Croatian team: For protection in the face of escalating fighting in the region. For the Lords leading and guidance. Continued fruitful ministries to the needy.
186. Supply and protection for teams pioneering new cities or republics in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. For wisdom in knowing how to proceed in light of antagonistic attitudes by some elements of the Russian Orthodox Church towards our pioneer teams.
187. Continued supply of visas for the Family in Russia, despite tightening restrictions.
188. Pioneer teams to Africa: Unity, fruitfulness, supply and protection.
189. That a study on "The Endtime News" which will be included in a soon-to-be-published Handbook on New Religions will be a positive witness.
190. Home schooling in Poland: That the Lord will keep the door open for the Family children who are Polish to be home schooled.
191. For a change in Greek law that would permit home schooling.
192. That a German TV program on the Family, consisting mainly of interviews with our detractors and which the Family did not participate in, will not be aired.

The operation was a complete success, which was a total miracle. The whole tumor was completely removed, and it was benign, which means that it wont grow back! Thank You Jesus! I really love you and appreciate you and your prayers for the precancerous condition in my breast (PL 24:199). I recently had a simple biopsy (small removal of tissue for testing) of the area of my breast that contained the precancerous cells, and they are all gone! There were abnormal, non-breast cells present, but they were not cancerous, thank the Lord!
The verse I received before receiving the results of the biopsy was, "Show me a token for good: that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed, because Thou, Lord, hast helped me, and comforted me" (Psalm 86:17). I wanted to comment on this verse as I believe that in my case, the interpretation of this part of the verse--"they which hate me"--represented the ungodly medical system. One year ago, when my precancerous condition was first detected, the doctors tried to pressure me into making an on-the-spot decision to have a complete mastectomy--removal of my breast--in six days time! The doctors comment was that most women who find out they have my condition usually have difficulty waiting six days to have their breast removed. In my desperation, the Lord used me to get him saved, as I told him I also had a commission to deliver my soul spiritually, as he had medically. Thank the Lord I didnt go through with the operation, because now Im healed!
I would also like to testify to another recent healing miracle. Last November I had a problem with ovarian cysts, something I have had trouble with for the last 15 years, and which make it very difficult for me to conceive. I was bleeding for three weeks due to the cysts, and the doctors wanted to perform surgery if the bleeding didnt subside. Well, not only did the bleeding subside, but by February of this year I conceived, after 10 years of marriage and having last conceived 6 years ago. Another healing miracle! (The pregnancy later terminated at an early stage, so Id like to ask for prayer that I will be able to conceive again and have a full pregnancy. Thank you!)
This letter wouldnt be complete without sharing the most precious lesson that I have learned through all of this, and that is to pray earnestly for others on a daily basis. When my name appeared in the "Critical" section of Prayer List #19, all of the other prayer requests alongside mine became as my own. From that time on I felt personally responsible to pray for them. I feel that as with Weston and his healing (ML #1139:37-39), as he earnestly concentrated all his prayers on someone else, he himself was healed. Im so thankful for the lessons learned through my affliction, and will by the grace of God continue to earnestly pray for those on the Prayer Lists as if it was me. Now I truly understand their suffering. My heartfelt love to all of you.

P.S.: During my illness I was prescribed carrot juice, extracted from carrots using a vegetable extractor, with a combination of green apples or celery or beetroot (which is said to be the main anti-cancer vegetable). I know that the Lord, not the juice, healed me of my cancer, but the thing I did notice is that the juices seemed to help heal or alleviate many other ailments I had, mainly skin rashes, psoriasis, as well as prevented colds, sore throats and laryngitis, which I had been extremely prone to. In fact, I didnt have any trouble with these ailments while I was drinking my juices daily (one or two glasses a day). Besides the juices, I just ate normal food (except pineapple and cucumber, which are said to aggravate cancer), and I found my immune system greatly improved without the need for further vitamin supplements. So even with the cancer gone, I feel led to continue to drink these juices to help keep my resistance high, so I can be spared the many little afflictions I used to catch. Another sister who has been drinking them regularly said that her eyes have dramatically improved, to where she no longer needs glasses to read.

After sending in a prayer request to the Prayer List (PL 24:122), the Lord turned the tide in the long-term battle Id been fighting with prostate problems and chronic urinary irritations. The answer came in a rather unusual way, as He led me to try drinking a little aloe vera a few times a day, which has totally cleared up the problem. Aloe vera is a juice squeezed from the leaves of the aloe vera plant, a sub-tropical plant quite commonly available in many parts of the world (and is even often used as a house plant) which has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities. I had never heard of it before and wouldnt have thought of it, so although its a "natural" means of healing, I believe it came about in a supernatural way in answer to prayer! (Editors note: Just as you would with any medicine, be sure to seek confirmation from the Lord before taking any natural remedies. Its also wise to find out about any possible negative side-effects they might have.)
From Daniel, Christie and Hanna, Colombia:
The Lord gave us a great victory from a seeming defeat after Katrina (OC) came down with dengue fever. After four days in bed, her nose started to bleed, and our doctor told us that this was a symptom of hemorrhagic dengue, an extremely serious disease. He explained that Katy needed blood tests, and if she had hemorrhagic dengue, she would need to be hospitalized immediately. We prayed together and took Katy in for the blood tests, which confirmed that she did have hemorrhagic dengue. We became even more desperate, and told the Lord that we would be doing another blood test in ten minutes, and we expected to see Him work during that short time. While the second blood sample was being processed, we claimed promises and held a prayer vigil. An hour-and-a-half later, we got the results: In the ten minutes between tests the Lord had done the miracle and increased the red cell count in Katys blood to a normal level! Praise the Lord! It was a real witness to everyone in the lab!

After Paul was born, his testicles did not descend. The doctors could not locate them, and recommended an operation when he turned 1-1/2. We had him checked at that time, and the doctors again recommended surgery. We felt quite under pressure to follow their advice, but as we returned home from the doctors, Paul started singing "On a Rock Ill Stand." We cracked the Bible and the verse was about standing on our faith, so we decided to leave it for a while longer and trust the Lord. A surgeon friend of ours who has faith in God and His natural means of healing, encouraged us to hold on and pray that God would bring Pauls testicles down in His time, and agreed that we should spare Paul from an operation if possible.
When Paul was about 3-1/2 years old, he went for a sonogram. The doctor found his testicles in the tubes, though they had still not descended. This was nevertheless very encouraging.
Now Paul is nearly five years old, and weve just gone for another check-up. The doctor said that the testicles had grown slightly and he could now bring them down naturally! This was a tremendous encouragement! God, in His time, has worked everything to His glory, and without an operation. Its been very encouraging for us to just take things one step at a time. I personally dont have such great faith for healing, but I do know Ive got faith for today, and so far Hes been slowly healing Paul one day at a time. He doesnt want to give a complete healing right away, because that would probably rob us of the precious lessons Hes teaching us through all of this. Please do pray with us that God will complete and heal that which He hath begun. Thank you! We love you!

(Editors note: We pray the following testimony will be an encouragement to those of you who have asked for prayer to be exempted from mandatory military service.)
The Lord did a big miracle in freeing me from my twelve-month military service, which is mandatory for French citizens. I was really in prayer when I went to take my qualifying tests. I didnt feel I should act dumb and flunk the test in hopes of being declared unfit, but I just trusted the Lord that if I was going to take the tests honestly, He would do a miracle. After the tests, I was taken to a psychiatrist, who turned out to be a very sweet Christian man. When he asked me if I had a job, I told him I was a missionary. He said that was the first time he had written this occupation on a military draft report. I took the opportunity to heavily witness to him. I told him about Heaven, the Endtime, that I was in the Family/Children of God, and that doing military service would be a complete waste of time.
The whole time I really prayed that the Lord would give me the words to say. I also felt that I should keep looking him in the eyes. After a little while he told me to stop looking him in the eyes as "they are too deep for me, and I might get converted"--ha! Then he stamped my papers and told me I was free from military service. Thank You Jesus! I still had to see one more officer, who said that he never heard of anyone getting released for a reason like mine, since I had scored 95% on my tests and was qualified to be a reserve officer. I praised and thanked the Lord all the way home!

David had been bedridden for a month with an inflammation of the colon. We had been treating him with vitamins, teas, herbs, etc., as well as praying unitedly as a family. Much of the pain subsided, but it wasnt until we let the other brethren in the area know, and asked for prayer from them, that David was completely healed. We learned an important lesson on humbling ourselves to ask for prayer, and the need for the united prayers of others.
From Juan and Estrella Cromwell, Colombia:
When Luis David was one month old he started vomiting terribly for about a day and a half. We went to a doctor, who recommended X-rays. The X-rays revealed a narrowing in the duodenum and a "blind sac" that was only letting food pass by very slowly. When we showed the X-rays to the doctor, he was very surprised that Luis David was so chubby and fit (he had doubled his newborn weight), explaining that children with this kind of problem were undernourished and usually mongoloid. He said that the only solution was to operate. Another surgeon friend of ours confirmed the diagnosis. We asked if there was another more natural way to treat this and he said there wasnt. However, he said we could wait six months and then have X-rays taken again to see how things were evolving; but if the child began to show signs of undernourishment, hed have to be operated on immediately.
We hated to think of Luis David being operated on at such a tender age, and we knew the Lord could heal him. So we decided to give Him a chance, and put our baby in the hands of the greatest doctor in the Universe. We prayed for him and put him on the prayer vigil list. At first he vomited once or twice a week. Little by little the vomiting became less frequent. Two weeks went by without vomiting, then a month. Finally the six months had passed, and it was time for new X-rays. Just a week earlier he had vomited again, but I felt in my heart that the Lord had healed him. I received that verse about "lying vanities"--that this was just a test to see if we were going to keep on believing that the Lord had healed him.
We provisioned a clinic for the X-rays. By a miracle the same doctor who had examined him the first time also worked at this clinic, and happened to be the one to examine him! This doctor remembered us, and when he saw the new set of X-rays, he couldnt believe his eyes. The tightness or narrowing of the duodenum, as well as the "blind sac," had completely disappeared! What a miracle! He said, "Little boy, youve been saved from surgery!" Since then, Luis David has continued growing and is a bright, happy boy, with no digestive problems. Hallelujah! "God specializes in things thought impossible!"
From Dr. Chris (of Stephen Tall), U.S.:
I first noticed that my back was aching as I stood up from bending over patients in their beds. (Editors note: Dr. Chris is a Family member and a practicing doctor.) I didnt think much about it. After a week, I started experiencing pain in my lower back and legs, and had to walk in small steps. After two weeks of moving gingerly and sitting with a heating pad on my office chair, things hadnt improved.
I didnt really pray about it much because Id had sciatica (a pinched nerve in the lower back which causes shooting pain down the leg) before, during my last two pregnancies, and I knew that it usually would go away with rest, etc. But the pain grew worse, and landed me flat on my back for five days. Finally, I was asking for prayer and getting desperate myself.
Things at work had been extremely stressful. I was embroiled in personnel changes, increasing responsibilities and taking care of very sick patients. As I lay there finally reading and getting in the Word, I realized that this was the only way the Lord could get my attention. I thought, "Oh Lord, if there ever was a picture of someone getting out of control, not resting in the Lord, doing everything in their own strength and just plain running on empty, Im it." I was a mess.
Whenever I start picking up speed, one of my favorite Letters to read is "Temple Time." This time I also read "Stop, Look, Listen!", "Prayer for Love and Mercy" and "Diamonds of Dust." I really wanted to be one of the yielded specks of dust floating serenely on Gods air, with perfect peace, knowing God is in control. Whenever I read those Letters, I feel all my trials and cares and burdens just melt away. I thought to myself, "Ive got to remember to slow down and trust the Lord. Lord, please do one of those miraculous changes and slow me down. Make me one of those sweet, loving sisters who are filled with Your Spirit, and not my own. Help me to operate at Your speed, not lightning speed."
Well, my back pain subsided and I was back to work, albeit moving very slowly. Then I started to notice that I was getting rushes of tingling in both legs, like pins and needles. It seemed to happen at least once an hour, for about 90 seconds. My right hand also seemed slow--something wasnt right. I started feeling a burning sensation on the right side of my scalp.
I just thought I was under a lot of stress, but as I was driving to work one morning the thought came to me that maybe it was multiple sclerosis (MS). Then suddenly it all seemed so clear. From a medical viewpoint, the fact that I had experienced such strong back pain worried me a bit because I hadnt really done anything to cause the pain--I hadnt injured myself or lifted anything too heavy, etc. The other reason that MS came to mind is that two years ago my younger brother was diagnosed with MS and had the same initial symptoms.
I started reading "Advantage of a Handicap," and "What Is Weak." I felt like the Lord surely must want me to have this disease to slow me down permanently--to change me. There were other events that, to my mind, were more or less confirmations from the Lord that I had MS.
Right at this same time, when these unusual symptoms were occurring, three patients were admitted to my hospital with MS--severe MS, bedbound, paralyzed, barely able to swallow. Suddenly I was taking care of these very sick patients who had the complications of end-stage MS and I felt, "Well, this could be me someday." I suddenly felt my heart open to these patients and their families. I felt that the Lord was trying to give me a broken heart for them and their suffering. I cried a lot.
My symptoms remained, and I went to the neurologist. After she examined me, she said there were some abnormalities on the exam and that her first assessment would be MS. We brought my situation before the Home for desperate prayer. A prayer request was also published in the Prayer List (PL 24:119). Until then it hadnt honestly even occurred to me to pray for healing. I was thinking more along the lines that the Lord was allowing me to have this disease for a reason, and I was adjusting to that.
The Lord answered prayer, and by the time I had completed further tests, my symptoms were 90% gone! The results of the tests were within the normal limits (although at the low end), and thank the Lord, my symptoms are now completely gone! By Gods grace, the MS is no more! As I write this, however, I realize that I need to fight to make sure that all the lessons I learned during that time, all the promises I memorized from the Hem of His Garment, all the changes I resolved to work on--to be more loving, to be a better mother, to be more trusting--that all these dont slip away.
MS by nature is a remitting, relapsing disease. Early tests dont always detect it. My medical training and knowledge say to me, "Yes, the tests can be negative, but it doesnt mean you dont have MS." But the faith part of me prays, "Lord, Ive seen you do miracles in healing, Ive experienced it at my hospital and in my life. Please, make this one of Your miracles!"
I want to say thank you. I love all of you, our beautiful Family! Thank you for praying for me. Please keep praying for me that I can change and truly be the vessel He wants me to be, to manifest the Love of Christ which constrains me and to have the simplicity of Christ. God bless you!

Hopefully this will come in handy to jog your memory in praying for these topics in case youre having prayer vigil and PL 25 is not available.
