PRAYER LIST No.12!--From WS

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all!"--Psa.34:19.
Dear Family,
GOD BLESS YOU! We love you and "cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in our prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power."--Eph.1:16-19.
Thank the Lord, He certainly manifested His power during the three-day Fast, virtually raising Dad from his deathbed in answer to your prayers! He has not only brought him back to life, but to wonderful, victorious strength, so that in recent days he has been more energetic than he has been in a long time. Even more miraculous than this is the fact that during the last couple of weeks he was actually able to eat solid foods: Things like cheese and crackers, hot cereals, liver pat, and even noodles and unstrained blends of meat, potatoes, veggies, etc. Even though this lasted for only a couple of weeks, it was a very great encouragement to know that the Lord had done such a miracle and is able to do it again permanently as we continue to pray!--Such a wonderful token of the healing that will come in God's time! He never fails!
Many of you were probably tempted over the months to give up hope in the face of such a tough fight, but thank God, you persevered in your prayers, and now we are all seeing the wonderful fruit of God's power in this great healing miracle. God bless you for not giving up. Thank God you kept on believing!
Besides Dad's marvellous healing, many of you have been healed as well as you'll see in the following "Answered Prayer" section.--Some in a spectacular, instant way, others in a more quiet, slow process. But all were wonderful answers and just as miraculous and just as needed and welcome.
The Lord is so faithful to "forgive all our iniquities and heal all our diseases" (Psa. 103:3), even though we often then get new afflictions to battle and overcome--which of course cause us to seek the Lord more desperately than ever and depend on Him more completely. So often sickness is one of the "all things that work together for good to them that love Him," as Mama said after she read the following prophecy for Dad sent in by Marianne's Home, which they received at the time of the Fast:
"Satan hath desired to have thee, that he may sift thee as wheat, but fear not, for I have prayed for thee, that thy strength fail not. As in the days of Job, Satan walketh to and fro about the Earth, seeking whom he may devour. How much more now shall he try to attack My servant David? Yet it is I Who have allowed these things to be, so fear not. The Enemy has no power except I give it to him from Above.
"Though thy body may grow weak, thy spirit shall grow stronger and stronger in these Last Days, and thy children's spirits as well. For these times of purging of the flesh shall continue from now until the End, that thy spirits may grow stronger, for when thou art weak, then I am strong. Fear not, it is a purging, and it is not unto death, but I shall raise thee up through the prayers of thy children, and through the faith of thy little ones. Hold fast to that which thou hast, and I shall give thee a crown of life.
"My children, seek My face, and hold up the light of Israel in these Last Days, for thou hast been desperate in times past, and for this I am pleased. But as the days grow worse and evil grows worse and worse, thou must grow stronger and stronger, for it is only in the Spirit that ye may win these victories and these battles. The flesh profiteth nothing.
"Thou art called to a Fast. Thy servant David leadeth, the good shepherd goeth before his sheep, and sacrificeth and giveth all, that on his birthday he may rejoice in spirit that his flesh is weak. I pray thee to rejoice with him, to lift up thy spirits and praise and turn around, O house of Israel. Change thy ways! Look to Me more and more! Again I say, I am not displeased with thy prayers in the past, but I am calling thee even more in the Endtime now to sharpen thy swords, to strengthen thy spirits, and to look to Me, that thy faces may be lightened."
Mama wrote, "The prophecy says `this purging in the flesh shall continue from now until the End, that thy spirits may grow stronger, for when thou art weak, then I am strong.' I thought that was particularly apropos for the Prayer List to help people realise that we're going to have to fight physical afflictions until the End, and we can't expect to be totally free from them. I hope it doesn't discourage any of our precious Family. It should be encouraging that the Lord says that when we are weak, then we can be strong in the spirit. It almost seems like it takes some physical weaknesses to help us be strong spiritually. Maybe not everyone gets physical afflictions--some have problems of a different sort, like heartbreaks and heartaches--but it seems like physical afflictions are the most frequently used, at least with us older adults, to keep us desperate with the Lord."
We've tried to separate the prayer requests this time, with the recent answered prayers and prayer requests in this Prayer List, and the more long-term prayer requests in PL 13, such as the continuing ones for Dad and Mama and our Family around the World, for continuing persecution situations, against our enemies, etc. You can use both of these Prayer Lists together in your prayer time, or use one list one day and one the next, etc., or alternate lists as you wish. We hope this long-term list will enable us to cut down on the length of future Prayer Lists by limiting them to just recent requests.
It's wonderful the way Lord is answering our desperate prayers for the requests on both lists: Dad's health is better in so many ways, and he and Mama continue to be secure from our enemies; our lawyers have remained healthy and are being strengthened; the Lord has opened up a lot of information on who our enemies are and what they're planning; our research teams have been able to find good material to refute the lies of our enemies; media coverage of the Family has been very favourable in several instances, etc.! Although some prayer requests haven't been fully answered yet, they certainly have been in part, and it's a great encouragement to see the Lord's direct intervention in so many situations. Praise the Lord!

ANSWERED PRAYERS: For All (OCs and under with guidance)
(Some of the answered prayers listed below were not mentioned as prayer requests in past Prayer Lists, but were prayed for locally. We've included them here for your encouragement, and to glorify the Lord for His marvellous faithfulness in answering prayer! Please remember to use wisdom and discretion in what you share with younger children.)
(Worldwide:)
1. Dad and Mama's security. Thank you for your prayers for Dad and Mama's protection during a recent security incident that had the potential to be very serious! Due to your prayers, no evil befell them or their staff, and the Lord gave His Angels charge over them, to keep them in all their ways, lest they even dash their feet against a stone, as Psalm 91 promises. Praise the Lord!
2. Dad's sleep is much better, and he's had much less coughing! (PL 11:75) On some nights or during some naps he doesn't cough at all, and when he does, it doesn't usually last very long. He's been able to fall asleep much quicker, doesn't have long wakeful periods as he used to, sleeps much more soundly, and has not been having bad dreams or violent coughing spells!
3. The following prayer request was sent to some of our leadership, and the Lord has now completely healed Dad of this attack. Thank You Jesus!
Dad's cold spells in the night. Dad has been waking up with cold spells followed by hot sweats. In spite of how warm the bedroom is, he seems to get very cold at a certain period in the night. Taking in some food usually helps increase his body heat, but it's also a big problem in the middle of the night when he wakes up cold to then have to sit up in bed and drink his banana milk, then having drunk it, to finally get back to sleep, only to be waked up every few minutes with it coming back up in his throat, making him cough and choke! And oftentimes just an hour or so after getting back to sleep, he then wakes up in a huge sweat, totally soaked, having to change clothes, etc. Needless to say, Dad and Mama's sleep has been quite broken lately, which in turn affects them the next day. That the Lord will intervene and will remove these cold spells and correct whatever is causing them.
4. Dad has continued to recover from the sickness he suffered at the time of the Fast. He's now getting more exercise and is very much stronger.
5. Shortly before PL 11 went out, we found out that our Australian QC suffering from cancer had passed on and gone on to be with Him "Who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel!"--2Tim.1:10. (See PL 11:141.) The Lord gave some very encouraging prophecies about this man, who had fought for us even when very ill and in pain, and firmly believed in the righteousness of our cause. Although he never actually prayed with us to get saved, he received a great deal of witness from both our children and adults, and loved the Family. Upon hearing of his Homegoing, Dad said, "Maybe that's what the Lord had to do, the only way he could ever learn. Thank the Lord, the Family did all they did to witness to him and help him with their letters and cards and prayers. He received us, so I'm sure the Lord will receive him!"
Following are a few excerpts from the prophecies the Lord gave for this man: "Rejoice with this man, for he hath entered into an eternal reward. For he that receiveth you receiveth Me. Thou hast an advocate with the Father, for he is with Me. Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone, but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. For he hath planted himself into the Work. He hath received the words and testimonies into his heart. He shall aid and help those that fight for thee! Now he is My advocate, fighting for you in spirit. He is thy Heavenly representative to help fight the forces of evil that would seek to destroy you.
"I have taken him from the few, that he might be a blessing unto the many. For now he can help in many places, whereas before he could only help in one. I worked My Work in his life, I brought him low that he might be brought to Me. Now that he is Home, rejoice with Me, for this son who once was lost is now found, and is Home forever!"
6. Hope (PL 11:140) has also gone Home to be with the Lord after her liver failed. She passed away shortly after seeing her children for one last time, having put her life in the Lord's hands and being encouraged by the verse Dad got for her: "Whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's."--Rom.14:8. The doctor was touched to see Hope so full of faith, and commented how wonderful it is that she, being a Christian, has someplace to look forward to, whereas many other people don't!
7. CSV appeal in Lamb's case (PL 11:139) thrown out by the court! After the CSV appealed the decision against them in Lamb's case, the judge was forced to reconsider his previous judgement, which resulted in him handing down one of the strongest judgements ever made in the Children's Court in our favour, completely exonerating us, with full vindication. In his ruling he quoted experts who'd examined the children, who described them as "healthy, well-mannered, cooperative children" who displayed "competent social skills." He mentioned that a psychiatric nurse reported that one of the children was "delightful, friendly, well-adjusted ... displaying no evidence of emotional damage." So Lamb's children are now out from under CSV's "protective care," thank the Lord! (Hallelujah! --It pays to pray!--Mama)
8. An anti-cult book which also attacked Evangelicals and Catholics was taken out of circulation in Europe after some of these religious groups obtained a court order against it! Also, an academic journal which was about to print a slanderous article against the Family withdrew it from publication after we contacted them about the author's bias.
9. Judgements against our enemies: In the Philippines, two top executives of the newspaper which spearheaded the media attacks against us perished in separate traffic accidents. In Australia, an article was published concerning David Marchant, the former DOCS Deputy Director General who was behind the raids in Sydney. In the feature section of the paper, there was a full-page spread under the heading, "Community Dis-services." The following comment seems to indicate that heads are now rolling in the DOCS: (excerpt from article) "Mr. Marchant, whose ability is recognised but who has roused strong emotions in some sections of the welfare community, has had his position of Deputy Director General abolished." In France, anti-cultist Dr. Richards was scheduled to give a talk in a local town auditorium on the danger of sects, but was hospitalised for heart trouble just before the meeting was to begin! In the U.S., top CAN deprogrammer Galen Kelly was convicted of kidnapping in a deprogramming case where he abducted the wrong person. The judge did not allow bail, so Kelly went straight to jail, where he will wait until his sentencing on July 30. He could face from 20 years to life in prison.
10. Mainstream religious groups stand up for freedom of religion! An article in the May 17th edition of the IHT urges the government not to crack down on the New Religious Movements: "A broad cross-section of religious organisations have issued a statement cautioning the government against clamping down on religious cults like the Branch Davidians, many of whom died in a fire at their compound near Waco, Texas. The statement said many of today's respected faiths, including Christianity, began as minority aberrations and were ridiculed and persecuted. The statement was spurred by planned government investigations of the Waco tragedy. Among major denominations that signed it are the Episcopal Church, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the American Baptist Churches and the Union of American Hebrew Congregations. Although `an investigation is appropriate, we oppose any attempt to define what is a valid religion,' the statement said. `Government has no business declaring what is orthodox or heretical or what is a true or false religion.' It added, `History teaches that today's "cults" may become tomorrow's mainstream religions.'"

11. Chris (PL 11:185): Pain between his ribs has completely disappeared.
12. Jeanne (PL 11:189): Stomach much better, and gaining good victories.
13. Macau Combo (PL 11:191): Housing situation with landlords is changing and we're better able to stay.
14. Joy (of Abel) (PL 11:188): Stomach condition much improved.
15. Abraham (14) of Aaron and Faithy (PL 9:142): Fighting and desiring to win victories, and has made progress.

17. The QC who has defended our Australian lawyer in his case so far (PL 11:139) just notified him that he did it for free!--A wonderful testimony of the Lord's supply and answer to prayer which has really encouraged his faith!
18. The Family in Sydney met with some ranking DOCS officials and they received our complaints of harassment by the department workers and promised to look into for us. The Family also had a chance to explain more about our work and education, etc., which was a tremendous victory!
19. Mary (Michelle) healed of infection in her womb despite doctors telling her she would need an operation.

20. Victories in the Philippines: (Although not included in previous worldwide Prayer Lists, we wanted to testify of the following victories in answer to the Family's desperate prayers): Senator Maceda, whose speech in the Senate helped precipitate a media storm and persecution, lost much of his credibility and power in a Senate vote of confidence, was stripped of his three committee chairmanships, and is facing his own media storm with negative articles exposing his corruption coming out daily in the press. PTL!
The media storm ended with a series of positive newspaper articles and TV and radio shows; new influential friends won; the Senate hearing postponed (indefinitely, D.V.); teen witnessing exploding via TV appearances, concerts, Holy Ghost samples, local community and "Consider the Poor" performances, and personal witnessing, etc. Cardinal Pig, one of those behind the attacks on us, suffered an embarrassing facial disfigurement through a serious case of chicken pox.
21. S.E.A. Training Centre (PL 11:210): Speedy healing of all those affected with sickness.
22. S.E.A. Training Centre rent renewal (PL 11:200): They have been able to retain their present housing. Victories through ministering to their landlord and his family.
23. Joy, who had "placenta previa," found that her placenta had shifted to the normal position, her pregnancy is progressing normally, and she will most likely be able to have a natural delivery.
24. Safe delivery for Ruth (of Andrew), who had three previous Caesarian deliveries. (PL 11:193)
25. New Indian national disciples, Daniel, Stephen and Esther are doing well, and their parents have been remaining favourable. (PL 11:194)
26. Thai James: Physically strengthened and has had greater resistance to disease. (PL 11:195)
27. Travellers' Meetings (PL 10:76): Fruitful travellers' meetings in both India and Thailand, with precious sheep being won and followed up on in their respective home countries.
28. Inheritances: The Lord has miraculously answered and finalised the legal work for two inheritances.
29. Peace and stability for Pakistan Homes (PL 8:119): The situation has greatly improved.
30. Pakistan School (PL 11:207): Speedy healing from sickness, their outreach not affected in any way, and it did not spread to the other Homes.
31. Joan (of Simon) (PL 8:122): Cysts healed, no more pain, and periods now regular.
32. EA Rejoice (PL 8:133): Healing of skin disease, and needed spiritual victories also gained.
33. India, peace and safety (PL 11:192): The Family has remained safe and protected, as have their friends, despite recent instability.
34. Esther of Ron (PL 11:202): Quick recovery after Caesarian delivery of twin girls. Both babies are healthy and strong.
35. Peter (of Mary) (PL 11:205): Recovery from poisonous snakebite, and no secondary infection.
36. Housing in India (PL 5:112 and PL 9:144): A real miracle: After 6 months of searching, we finally were able to find a suitable house with a good rent and telephone.
37. Vincent (PL 7:122): Eye problem completely healed for over six months, and he learned many lessons on faith, fighting and yieldedness through this affliction.
38. Ruth (of Andrew) (PL 11:193): Had a beautiful baby girl.

39. Emmanuel (10) (PL 5:131): Completely healed of asthma!
40. Jason (7) of Tim and Joy (PL 10:90): Healed of asthma!
41. Joy (6) of Alisha (PL 9:103): Had the first surgery for her cleft palate and harelip, which went very well, and she has healed nicely.
42. Lawyers: The Lord has raised up a number of sweet and inspired lawyers and other professionals who are interested in us and in helping us to fight any legal or media battles which may come our way in the future.
43. Heaven (6) of Lalo and Ruth (PL 7:138): Hearing in right ear is much better!
44. EA Becky (PL 7:7): Completely healed from the affliction she suffered over a year ago. She's also more bold and has more faith to read and pray when in meetings, and is now helping with the shepherding of a group of JETTs.
45. Eliseo (5) of Faith (PL 7:141): Had an eye operation, and the doctor offered his services for free. His eye is now almost completely healed.
46. Timmy (6) of Ava (PL 4:31), who suffers from arthritis, has made tremendous progress. He has begun to walk a lot more by himself, as well as even dancing along with the other children at inspiration for the first time! He climbed the stairs of his own accord for the first time in three years, and he is now going to the toilet by himself for the first time, and making daily progress.
47. Gabriella (10) of Julia (PL 7:151): Much better and not so sick any more.

48. Ben (of Maggie) (PL 11:63): Completely healed after an injury in which a tractor he was driving rolled over on him. Now back to full-time service for the Lord, able to walk, witness, drive a car, and is even participating in active get-out once more!
49. Ruthie (PL 11:231): Migraines healed since the day she sent a prayer request to the PL! After receiving some counsel from Mama, she wrote back, "Dearest Mama, ILY! IRPFY every day! It touched my heart so that you had the time to think of me, pray for me and were even interested in finding out how I am doing with my migraine headaches. I almost feel bad that someone so insignificant as me should take some of your very precious time, especially now that you have been feeling tired and weak. (Dear Family: Not one of you is "insignificant" either to the Lord or to us! You are part of this wonderful Work of God, and you're kings and queens and princes and princesses, "a royal priesthood, a chosen generation," and each one of you is important! You count, and you matter to us and we love and need you!--Mama.) GBY! What a sweet Mommy you are! IRLYSM! It makes me want to be more like you. TTL, when I asked to be put on the Prayer List, the request went off right away, and I haven't had one more migraine since! Just that day I realised that I couldn't serve the Lord one more day in the state I was in, I couldn't even read the Word, so I really felt that it was the Lord's Will for me to get healed right away. `Before they call I will answer, and while they are yet speaking I will hear.' TYJ!"
50. Sharon: Healed of strong pains in her ovaries and sporadic bleeding, from a hormone imbalance.
51. Christina EA (PL 10:55) gave birth to a baby girl who was perfectly healthy from birth, thank the Lord! Although Christina had contracted German measles in the earliest months of her pregnancy, which doctors say can cause serious birth defects, the baby was normal and healthy, to the amazement of the hospital!
52. Baby Pablito: Quick recovery from a serious operation, in answer to the local Family's prayers. Although we did not have time to submit this request to the PL, we wanted to testify of this miracle!
53. Protection of the Family in Colombia (PL 11:62): Recently a very powerful car bomb went off in Bogota, in one of the richest parts of town. Although a Family Member had planned on being in the area that very afternoon, she didn't go after all, TTL! The apartment of another Family Member's mother is just a block away from where the explosion occurred. He was visiting his mother at the time of the blast, but he wasn't hurt as their apartment was not in the direct line of the shock waves. Since we began praying, seven of the top guerrilla leaders have been captured, others have been killed, and nearly 600 guerrillas have been captured. The Lord also miraculously stopped a very large car bomb from going off right by a witnessing spot where Family Members would have been at the time. This bomb would have caused major damage to a friend's department store.
54. Maria (of Joan): Asthma much better.
55. Marcos, 7-month-old baby of Juan and Ester, had to be rushed to the hospital as he was having convulsions, and was diagnosed as having meningitis. However, right after desperate local prayer for him, there were immediate signs of progress, and the next day a brain scan didn't show any abnormalities. He became alert and began nursing again and shows no effects of the illness at all!
56. "The waters shall not overflow thee!" The Family is safe after a flash flood and mudslide in Chile that flattened over 400 houses in the path of an avalanche of mud and water. One Home reported, "At one point the water was waist-deep in our backyard, but we were able to punch a hole in a brick retaining wall on our property so that the water all ran that way, taking out the whole wall with it. Miraculously not one drop entered our house."
(Europe:)
57. Barcelona anti-cult conference flops: As a real answer to prayer, this event received hardly any media coverage at all on a national level, with only the local Catalonian press reporting on it. Although there were expected to be 40 "experts" from either Europe and the USA in attendance, a number of their "stars" did not attend, such as Margaret Singer. Because of several of the main speakers dropping out at the last minute, the conference was reduced from four days to only two. They also cited having financial difficulties in organising the event. PTL!
58. Positive media coverage in Barcelona (PL 11:136): Several articles have come out in favour of the Family now, telling of the Constitutional Court's decision in our favour in the civil case.
59. The persecution brewing in Italy (PL 11:155) seems to have fizzled out, in answer to desperate prayer! The backslidden mate causing problems apparently finally refused to cooperate all the way with Watchman and others of our enemies who were egging her on, and left the country.
60. ADFI (French anti-cult group, PL 11:121) is under fire, and a negative article on it recently came out in a religious journal. Several university professors have also signed a petition against ADFI, which they are presenting to the government.
61. Anti-cult news articles and TV shows in Hungary (PL 9:129) have died down without any real repercussions.
62. Peter (ex-mate of Ava) (PL 11, Continued Prayer): The Lord protected him while in Sarajevo.
63. A precious friend who had been an agnostic for years got saved after her first visit to some Family Homes, and was moved to tears after watching our new P.R. video.
64. Polish Ministry Home (PL 11:161): The landlord has remained favourable, and it looks as though we will be able to stay in our present good location.
65. New housing (PL 9:125): Four-bedroom apartment in Moscow!
66. Victor children and families (PL 11:156): Gained much-needed victories.
67. Two Serbian disciples (PL 11:151) have been able to witness together daily to the war victims and have regular contact with us.
68. Refugee Camp Ministry (PL 11:152): Our teams have been able to continue ministering at a large Yugoslav refugee camp. In answer to prayer, we have permission from some of the top people to continue to minister at the camp when it looked like they weren't going to let us in anymore.
69. New Housing (PL 11): Exceptional new housing in England.
70. Mass printing of the Statements and many GP tools needed for Mail Ministry and follow-up. We've been able to get a lot of printing done, including several hundred thousand pages of lit for a conference and mass mailings for three countries!
71. Jonathan (7) of Pablo and Luna: Healed of cancer in his leg.
72. Bruni's baby boy: The baby's platelets (which cause the blood to coagulate) were quite low due to a bacterial infection, but he was healed after local prayer!
73. Joanna (3, of David and Sarah): Has recovered use of her eyesight after an incident in which she poked her eye. The Lord answered our prayers and there was no infection in the eye which was injured, neither did the scar tissue cover her iris, which would have blinded that eye.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
DAD AND MAMA: For All (OCs and under with guidance)
74. Peter's back, which has been very sore and achy, and his leg. It appears that lower back trouble has caused an important muscle in his leg to stop working, and thus over time it has collapsed, causing considerable pain. The Lord has used several visits to a very precious chiropractor to help alleviate the pain for a while, but it has once again gotten very painful. Please pray for a complete healing of his back and the restoration of the muscle.
WORLDWIDE: For All (OCs and under with guidance)
Persecution:
75. Pray desperately for victory over false allegations in France. Two DO Homes in France were raided by 200 policemen at 6 AM on the morning of June 9th. A total of 95 DO members were taken in and jailed (approximately 20 adults and 75 teens, JETTs and children). Four TS Homes were also raided, and 10 adults and 15 children from these Homes were detained. Altogether about 120 Family Members were taken into custody, although the adults and some of the children have since been released.
From what we understand, the main charges are lack of proper medical insurance, possibility of psychological abuse, and immoral sex education, although even the authorities have reported that they have not found any evidence of abuse in our Homes.
Please pray that all the children still held will be released immediately; that the Lord will anoint our lawyers and raise up many friends and powerful advocates of our cause; for the protection of our beloved brethren in bonds; and that the judges and officials involved will see that we are good, Godly people, and that the false allegations against us are vicious lies. "As for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you!"--1Sam. 12:23.
76. Waco situation: Against any adverse effects of this tragedy, and that it will not result in any new legislation or restrictions that will impede religious freedom. For an even greater harvest as a result of this recent event.
77. Against continued media smears and persecution in Argentina. Specifically against S.P.E.S., an anti-cult organisation directed by one of our main enemies, Baamonde, and against Silletta, another of our enemies in Argentina, who is trying to help initiate certain laws in Congress against NRMs, specifically citing us. Also against new legal action in one city, initiated by a man who filed charges with a D.A. after receiving a couple of our Posters. That the Lord will "cause the wrath of Man to praise Him" (Psa.76:10), as we go on the attack to visit the authorities involved and explain ourselves and our Work.

78. Australian court cases:
--The Melbourne case: That the Lord will continue to have His way in the outcome, and that He will give the Family the patience and grace for the continued Social Services' visits. That the Lord will also anoint and use a letter the Family is sending to the Government Ministers of CSV asking them to intervene.
--Our lawyer and the ongoing legal situation with his ex-wife: That he will be able to have access to his children, as well as full custody in the end. Against his ex-wife's AC relatives who have prayed for his death. For his encouragement, funds for legal expenses, and a victory over false allegations.
79. Argentina court cases:
--For our lawyers' strength and unity amongst themselves.
--For leaders of different minority religious groups that the Lord seems to be raising up to help us.
--That our cause will be vindicated, and bring greater religious freedom, as well as greater freedom to home school and teach the children as parents see fit.
--For a case that is now back in the hands of the Appeals Court to finally decide within about one month, and against a certain judge who is personally trying to hinder our getting a fair hearing.
--Against a backslider who is spreading vicious lies against us.
--The adults, young adults, teens and children to be strengthened spiritually for this battle.
--That the pending investigation in another city won't be influenced in any way by the main court case.
--For the closing of the two other investigations.
--Our communications.
80. Argentina teens: For teens Paul and Daniel. Their mother went to be with the Lord sometime back, and their backslidden father in the U.S. has been trying to gain custody of them. Both boys were unexpectedly deported to the U.S. after heavy pressure from the U.S. embassy, and are now back with their father. A lawyer called it the "most irregular court proceeding he'd ever heard of." That the Lord will strengthen both boys and that they will be able to return to the Family.
Finances and Home Affairs:
81. WS has an urgent need for finances, or we may have to start cutting back some monthly services. Please pray desperately for the Lord to continue to supply funds, to touch the hearts of friends to give, to bring in large inheritances or to in some other way miraculously supply.

82. Cynthia: For complete healing of a large goiter on her neck, and against it continuing to grow larger or cause problems with swallowing or breathing.

86. Maria Clara (1, of Mateo & Brunilda). Serious recurring kidney infections which could lead to the loss of her kidneys. She is being treated with strong antibiotics that can have serious side effects. For her protection, & instant, miraculous deliverance from her infections & complications.

199. Jonathan (7) of Pablo and Luna: Blood infection.
200. Praise: Healing of hernia, recurring cyst on right ovary, and weak wrist.
201. Jo (of Rosemarie): Continued back problems which cause him to be bedridden part of the time with back pain, and numbness in his foot. Scar tissue from his back operation is pressing on a nerve. For encouragement.
202. Rosemarie (of Jo): Total recovery from an acute case of toxemia, for which she had to be hospitalised and was given very strong doses of medication. For her encouragement after a resulting miscarriage. Also for the doctors to be more positive and full of faith, as well as to be led of the Lord in their counsel and care.
203. Media in Britain to get out a good clear message about the Family. For the Media Team's spiritual strength and personal conviction.
204. Against a polio epidemic spreading in Europe, which has caused some deaths, as well as media pressure on Fundamentalist Christians who are against immunisations. For protection against any sickness or potential problems.
205. Joanna (3, of David and Sarah): That she will use her injured eye, which she will be able to see through with the use of a contact lens. Because this is painful, she doesn't like to do this. See Answered Prayer #73.
206. The work in Eastern Europe, where some Parliaments have discussed new laws against cults and sects. That the anti-cult people stirring things up will not get any further laws passed which will restrict religious activities and/or tighten visa laws.
207. Our Work in Bulgaria, where the Orthodox church is viciously attacking evangelicals and the sects, or anyone who could be considered competition. For protection and for the Lord to raise up good lawyers. Also that we will have positive contacts amongst those that stand up for freedom and human rights, as well as amongst other Christians that are being persecuted.
208. Housing in Bulgaria, where the Family needs to move. The mayor has given directives that people should not rent their properties to sects, and any foreign Christians are viewed as being part of a sect, so this has made it difficult to find a new place. That we can find suitable housing with a good water supply.
209. Carmen (8, of Ramona): Recurring eye problems from an infection. That it doesn't affect or damage her eyesight, and that it will heal without the need of an operation.
210. EA Carmella, who has had continual pain in her back and shoulder, due to what was diagnosed as a pinched nerve, after having slipped and fallen on the ice in Siberia.
211. For the Lord to strengthen the brethren in Barcelona and help them get the time in the Word that they need, as well as have the conviction to get spiritually ready during these last days prior to the court trial. That the Lord will anoint a friendly academic in Barcelona and give him wisdom, and use him to reach spheres of influence that we might not be able to reach otherwise.
212. For the protection of Peter (ex-mate of Ava), who is again stationed in Yugoslavia, travelling to Tuzla in an armoured car each day. See Answered Prayer #62.
213. David (of Phoebe): Serious back trouble which causes him to have continual discomfort or pain.

REACTIONS TO THE WORLDWIDE PRAYER LIST! For All

I'd like to tell you about when the Lord healed me. I was sick (with leukemia), and the whole Family prayed for me and the Lord healed me. It was a miracle, because the doctor said I would get worse, but I got all better! Thank you for praying for me!

The Prayer Lists continue to thrill me and increase my faith, especially the answered prayer. Each request is so precious and brings to life to me how we each have our own cross to bear, but we don't have to bear it alone. We can "bear one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ." It also helps me to see how each of these afflictions, trials etc., are really for our good, both personally for those involved as well as for our whole Family to learn lessons, increase our faith, learn to pray, etc. I know some of this seems very simple, but there's just something so beautiful when a truth or belief comes alive to you, and that's what these Prayer Lists have done for me.

I am so thankful for everyone's prayers for me (for a cancerous mole). It's been a real life-changing time and I feel like I have been carried along on a wave of prayer. I have never had a time in my life when so many lessons have come alive to me and I'm really thankful!
Recently the doctors told me that they think I have a second cancerous tumour. I took a lot of time in the Word and found the Lord really strengthening my faith, and decided to take a stand of faith for healing. Although this has been a real test, it has also been a wonderful time of drawing close to the Lord and learning lessons that I would not have been able to learn any other way. The Lord has helped me to gain victories over comparing and lack of contentment, and I believe He is calling me to make a much greater commitment to Him and His Work.
I know that none of these changes would have been possible without everyone's prayers, and I thank the Lord for such a loving Family. Thank you for your continued prayers for me, and I pray that through this affliction the Lord will be glorified.

With our last report we included a prayer request for Jesse (OC of Leland and Grace), who has had a chronic ear infection that the doctor said needed another operation. One week after sending in our prayer request and also praying desperately and daily in the Home, he went back to the doctor, who said that his ear had improved so much that he didn't need an operation any more. After one more week the doctor said that it had gotten so much better that instead of having to come for weekly treatments, he now only has to go back for a monthly check-up! PTL!

We're so thankful for the Prayer Lists! We had the idea of dividing them up and giving each JETT, teen and adult a different request or a few requests from the list, so we know that someone is praying for each request on a daily basis throughout the month! Even though we have daily prayer vigil teams, because the list is so long the daily vigil team isn't able to get through all the requests, so this way we know that all are.

It was such a beautiful experience reading through the Prayer List. As I was reading I was praying for the different people and situations mentioned in the PL and it really did something to me. It was so inspiring and uplifting and it helped me get my eyes off my little world and get the World vision, to see how much the Lord is doing and to feel for those who are enduring afflictions and persecutions. One lesson I learned from this was not to feel sorry for the different people I was reading about, as in some cases I was tempted to, but to really believe Romans 8:28, and to know that He is in control.
When I have had sicknesses or troubles or battles, it has often been difficult to see the positive, but looking back I can always see God's wisdom and plan and the good fruits it has had, and sometimes I think my greatest battles have actually helped me stay on the straight and narrow to continue to be of use to the Lord. So I know if He's done it for me, the situations I read about in the PLs will also work out God's beautiful, perfect and loving plan in the lives of those involved.

When I read the prayer requests from our Family around the World, it makes me feel so close and feel so thankful for the Family, where if you're having a problem, you can have the assurance that the Family around the World is praying for you. It makes me feel such unity with them when I take my prayer time to pray for them too, and not just myself or personal situations. Also, it really encourages my faith when I see the prayers being answered and how much the Lord works. It makes me see how little my trials and afflictions are when compared to so many others who have to really fight and have faith for their health every moment. I'm so thankful that I can be a part of such a wonderful Family. TYJ!

I was reading the Prayer List and it made what Mama said about prayer (that prayer is not a burden but rather a blessing) come alive to me. I was thinking about the dear ones that are sick or weak or that for some reason or other can't work at the same pace as the other members of the Home. They can have the ministry of prayer: "When we are weak, then we are strong." Just like the lady that had leprosy and wound up in the house full of leprosy patients. She changed the course of history in that hospital as she took up the challenge and caught the vision to help them! (See GT 2, page 1634, #327.) Our precious Family Members that are sick, etc. don't have to feel they can't do anything or be under condemnation for their state, but like Mama said, "The time we put into prayer instead of work will count much more in the long run, and be more valuable than if we had just put it into our work." Just like translators and cooks and their daily jobs and routine, etc., we can have people who are prayer warriors as their ministry! (Amen!--Mama)

To read through the Prayer List, knowing that all the situations will get taken care of and answered by the Lord, is a real inspiration. We just need to do our part to pray and fight this battle with those that are in need of our prayers and support. Prayer changes things!

The Lord's so lovingly and mercifully taken care of my hernia problem! I'd like to thank the worldwide Family. I feel absolutely like a new creature in every area, and it can only be the result of something as far-reaching and powerful as prayer worldwide. So it certainly gives credit and glory to the Lord and teaches me an unforgettable lesson in experiencing the power of prayer firsthand, especially when He answers so quickly and completely takes care of my serious hernia and spiritual battles in one month, when the battles had lingered on for months previously. I'm really thrilled with the results, having a new "lease on life" and fresh start, due solely to prayer.

I didn't used to like prayer day. Before, it was very boring for me, because I didn't get in the Spirit. I was just sitting there with my eyes open, looking at the clock, waiting for the meeting to finish. I would even make fun of the people who were in the Spirit or speaking in tongues. Now I know that I should have been tuning in, praising the Lord and praying. This time, something happened to me. When I walked into the room, I felt a different feeling that I had never felt before. When the meeting started, I felt something like waves of the Spirit coming into me--a supernatural feeling that moved me. It was beautiful!--Wonderful! I didn't care who was watching me or what people thought of me. I just got in the Spirit. I even cried--something I'd never done during a prayer meeting. Now I like prayer days! TTL!
