God bless you! We pray this new year of 1993 will be a happy, healthy, fruitful, inspiring one for each of you!
Father, let me dedicate

In this edition of the Prayer List, there are a lot of answered prayers. The "Great Physician" has answered very faithfully, thank the Lord! If He hasn't answered your healing request yet, keep fighting & trusting! Don't be discouraged, even if it seems to take a long time. God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform, & some healings take longer than others. We know that if we keep on believing, the Lord will come through for us, as the following story shows.
Healed from Blindness!
--The Fruit of Faith & Patience!
--The Modern-day Testimony of Marilyn Ford.
"Marilyn, you're going blind & there's nothing we can do about it. I suggest you go home & learn to live with it." Those words shattered Marilyn's world. The blurry vision that she thought was temporary was diagnosed as "macular degeneration," a progressive hereditary loss of the central vision. The disease has no treatment or cure. At the age of 18, Marilyn's vision was fading fast.
"Life had just crumbled at my feet," Marilyn says. "One day I was working in the office & three days later I could no longer do my work. I realised my situation was very very serious. Before me was college, career, marriage.--And who was going to want to marry a blind girl?"
Not only was Marilyn's future in jeopardy, but her fading vision made each day a struggle. Routine household chores took months to relearn & hours to accomplish. And the worst part of all was that Marilyn felt she was to be dependent on others for the rest of her life. "I found it very very difficult to be able to cope with just the thought of having to rely on others to help me with practically everything."
But Marilyn refused to let blindness ruin her life. As her vision continued to deteriorate, she compensated for her lost sight by learning to read Braille & to guide herself with the use of a white cane. Her fears of becoming an old maid were swept away when she met & married Albert Ford, a Baptist minister, & when their daughter Sharon was born, Marilyn stoically hid the disappointment of knowing that she would never see her little girl's face.
"The day she was born," says Marilyn, "the nurse came into the room & she put her in my arms. For the first time I was holding her, I was touching her, she was real! But I thought, `Oh, if I could just see.' But not being able to see what she looked like, not being able to see what my husband looked like, not being able to see how I was changing, what I looked like--these things were very difficult."
Through these years of heartache Marilyn & her husband were comforted by the belief that somehow God had a purpose for allowing Marilyn to lose her sight. They also believed that God could heal her eyes if it was His Will. But although they prayed together for healing many times, nothing ever happened.
It seemed like their prayers went unanswered. By 1972, more than 10 years after her initial diagnosis, what little vision Marilyn had left disappeared completely. She could no longer keep herself from walking into door frames or see the outlines of the furniture.
Since their prayers had so far gone unanswered, neither Marilyn nor her husband were prepared for what was about to happen. On August 25th, 1972, they prayed together as they had every night before going to bed. As he had often done, her husband prayed that God would restore Marilyn's vision. The Fords again asked God for a miracle.
Marilyn's husband describes his prayer: "I said, `I know You can do all things, Lord. You have power to do all things.' And after we had shared our innermost feelings, I just asked God for a miracle."
When they finished praying, Marilyn opened her eyes & for the first time in ten years of marriage she saw her husband's face. She says, "When we opened our eyes, there he was right in front of me! I couldn't believe it! I said, `Honey, I can see you! I can see you!' He said, `What do you mean you can see?' It was so overwhelming for both of us!
"After I'd seen what my husband looked like, of course I wanted to see what my daughter Sharon looked like. She wasn't there but her picture was on the dresser. So to prove to Albert that I could see I said, `I can see the dresser!' And there was her picture, so I ran & I grabbed the picture. It was so beautiful! Then I ran to the mirror to see what I looked like, because I'd gone blind at the age of 18 & here I was in my thirties.
"When I got to the mirror I couldn't believe that was me! Somehow I didn't visualise myself aging, & that just wasn't me. I looked in the mirror & I thought, `Who is she? What am I looking at?'"
Though doctors can't explain what happened, Marilyn has been able to see ever since that day in 1972. But the most amazing thing is that she sees better than normal--20/20 in one eye & 20/15 in the other. Her ophthalmologist, Dr. F. Hampton Roy, says that Marilyn's is a most puzzling case because macular degeneration does not spontaneously reverse itself. He explains, "As an eye specialist I would say that that would be highly unusual."
As a physician, Dr. Roy does not generally use the word "miracle," but he admits that there is no medical explanation for what happened to Marilyn Ford. "We all would like to believe in miracles," he says, "and I'm not certain whether that's true or not, but the evidence is quite strong."
But for Marilyn the medical question matters little, all she knows is that she once was blind & now she sees. She says, "It never gets old. Every morning when I get up, it's a new miracle. When I open my eyes in the morning & I see the ceiling or I see the floor, it's fantastic. I say, `Thank You Lord, I can see for another day.'"

ANSWERED PRAYERS: For All (OCs & under with guidance)
(Some of the answered prayers listed below were not mentioned as prayer requests in past Prayer Lists, but were prayed for locally. We've included them here for your encouragement, & to glorify the Lord for His marvellous faithfulness in answering prayer! Please remember to use wisdom & discretion in what you share with younger children.)
(Worldwide:)
1. Dad's health, strength, sleep & safety. Thank the Lord, Dad has been quite strong & healthy. He has been sleeping very soundly, except when he coughs or chokes, & hasn't been bothered by bad dreams. His eyesight has been good, & he has also enjoyed good exercise & been protected from accidents. "The king trusteth in the Lord, & through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved."--Psa.21:7.
2. David & Techi & those looking after the Folks are better now after a recent bout with sickness.
3. DO Video production for Family children (PL 9:56): Hours of DO Videos are now being finalised & many more are in the works!
(Europe:)
4. John (formerly TJ) (PL 9:121): Gaining spiritual victories & making progress.
5. Steven of Rachel (PL 10:59), who was falsely accused of child molestation, was released after questioning & no charges were brought against him.
6. Jahmai (PL 7:183): No further problems with his liver, nor with his stomach, which had caused him problems for years.
7. Christopher (8 months, PL 7:184): Doing much better with his weight & is a happy, healthy baby.
8. The Lord restored full water pressure & electricity in the Bulgarian Home (PL 9:129), whereas before there had been lots of power cuts & no water for long stretches of time.
9. The anti-cult media propaganda in E. Europe (PL 9:129) has almost died down.
10. Sapphire (16, of Gabe) (PL 7:194): Psoriasis (skin affliction) is almost completely healed.
11. Yugoslavian children reached through our ministry in the refugee camps. (PL 9:86) The response has been terrific!
12. The Greek Home reported that immediately after the prayer request (PL 9:130) against the strikes & riots in Greece was published, the situation in Greece improved drastically, & the Home has been able to operate without being hindered by frequent strikes & other turmoil.
(Pacific:)
13. Cedar (PL 8:206): Almost completely healed of rheumatoid arthritis.
14. Peter Christian's back (PL 7:97): Much better, with less pain & headaches.
15. Major landowner near the HCS (PL 9:85) has been making real progress, hasn't tried to get back Rainbow Park nor the housing, & recently has even been helping the HCS, saying he wants to do something meaningful with his life now that he's getting old!
16. Premature baby Brunella of EAs Miguel & Cherish (PL 10:70) is healthy, growing & over 4 kilos. Despite the doctors originally saying she only had a 20% chance to live, her lungs, brain, eyes & ears have developed normally.
17. Teen Nicky of Martin & Lily (PL 9:143) has made good progress & is more committed.
18. EA Andy (PL 4:63): Tumour on his tongue has stopped growing & irritation has subsided.
19. Japanese Teresa of Elijah (PL 9:135): Baby is now in the correct position & there are no further complications.
20. Japan housing (PL 9:85): The Lord miraculously changed the heart of the landlord of one of our Homes, allowing us to stay.
21. Taiwanese Sunny (PL 8:199) has truly grown & has been making much progress in relationship with the Lord & others.
22. JETT Tommy (PL 10:71) was recently delivered of a spirit that was bothering him & has been making much progress.
23. After the Family prayed for Carin, the young daughter of a DF Member, she was healed of daily epileptic attacks & has gone a month with no new attacks.
24. IVM technical setup (PL 10:48) completed & rolling with new equipment.
(Asia:)
25. Jewel of Josiah (PL 10:75), who had surgery to remove a large brain tumour: Two weeks after her operation, Jewel returned home & is now in very good health & is slowly becoming involved in her ministry & the Home. There were no bad side effects from this operation, which was termed "a complete success."
26. Peace & order in Pakistan (PL 8:119): In spite of severe ethnic tension & rioting due to the recent Babri Mosque incident in India, the Lord protected the Pakistan (& Indian) Homes, & their friends & contacts, & the Homes were able to continue with their fruitful Christmas outreach.
27. Pakistan Homes' phone communications (PL 8:119): Almost immediately after PL 9 came out, their city implemented a new digital phone system, giving clearer international & local phone lines & much improved phone communications.
28. Lawyers in India (PL 9:78): The Lord has helped the Family in two main cities meet & minister to two top lawyers who have been very receptive to the Word, are willing to help & have already visited the Homes & really like what we do.
29. Indian PPC (PL 9:146): New, good quality Poster printing & Tape duping contacts.
30. Kanti (PL 7:123, 10:80): Family king in India has been doing very well, & the problems with his business are being resolved in answer to the Family's prayers!
31. Nathan of Leah (PL 9:151): Recovered from a recent heart attack.
32. Tommy (5) of John & Meekness (PL 9:152) has made progress spiritually & behaviourally.
33. Michael (5) of Bright & Abel (PL 7:127) spoke his first two words! His epileptic fits have become less frequent & he has made progress in some of his basic functions.
34. Olivia (5) of David & Victory (PL 5:115) has had a breakthrough in learning to read!
35. New housing for the SC! (PL 5:112)
36. Rosita's legal papers came through after 2 years! (PL 7:128)
37. Tina (2) of Stephan & Joy (PL 10:77): Problem with crossed eyes improved.
38. Angela (PL 10:81): Completely healed from asthma attacks.
39. Wonderful answer to prayer for the pioneer trip to Vietnam & Cambodia (PL 9:148). The Lord continued to bless, protect & supply for the trip, opening many new doors to witness, including English language schools, & ministering to foreigners.
40. Joanna C., victories over epileptic seizures (PL 9:153): Weekly attacks have ceased since her prayer request was published. Still some attacks, but much milder & not as frequent.
41. Traveller's Club in S.E.A. (PL 10:76) Major victories in ministering to foreign travellers, & extensive mail ministry to potentials.
42. Deaf teens, Isaac & Timothy (Zion) (PL 10:78): Spiritual breakthroughs in their lives. Fruitful Deaf Ministry started.
43. Mt. Pinatubo Disaster Relief Ministry (PL 9:150): The Lord is supplying miraculously for this ministry & is making it a powerful witness.
44. V., faithful brother & friend helping with our legal attack in the Philippines (PL 10:82), has been much strengthened through the Word, is continuing to prove himself a "mighty man of David," & is growing closer to the Lord & the Family.
45. Joan (formerly Jenny Lind) (PL 7:121) has gained many victories.
(North America:)
46. Our Christmas Outreach (PL 9:57) this year has been phenomenal, not only in souls & hearts won & tools distributed, but especially in personal witnessing, follow-up & new open doors! Music was a real key to open doors & hearts, as the Lord promised in the Summit '92 "North American Prophecies."
47. Disaster Outreach(PL 10:83): In one city, the brethren heard news that a tornado was headed their way. They got together & prayed against it, & it changed its course, instead touching down on a part of the city where some of our enemies live! The brethren spent four days witnessing in the most devastated area, ministering to the people & distributing Posters, etc.
48. The Lord is giving wisdom, direction & open doors for the implementation of the "Consider the Poor" vision (PL 10:85), & we are seeing more lasting fruit. As we preach the Gospel to the many poor & needy, it has opened avenues to reach the "poor in spirit" in other sectors of society & levels of leadership within surrounding communities.
49. New Disciples (PL 9:58): A precious on-fire girl just moved into one of our Homes upon turning 18, after being a catacomber for 3 years! She met the Family after finding a crumpled-up Poster in her front yard, whereupon she wrote to WS, who passed on her name & address to us.
50. Finances (PL 9:66): One Home received an unexpected $10,000 check from a disciple's mother, who had never done anything like that before.
51. Pioneer Teams(PL 10:85): Our first all-EA Home was pioneered recently, & the Lord has done miracles to supply for it, especially lots of sheep & potential disciples to minister to!
52. Our lawyer friend (PL 9:91) is reading more Word & growing in spirit, getting closer to the Lord & the Family. The Lord miraculously opened doors for a new job, & immediately after specific prayer with the Family for his apartment to be sold, the Lord sent the right buyer.
53. Rose Midwife (PL 8:151) reports that her eyes are better, most of the pain is gone, & she is not experiencing any pain from her former heart murmur!
54. Mercy (15) of Laz & Marie (PL 9:94), is no longer having problems with her asthma.
55. Gabriel of Miracle (PL 10:86), has been making progress in his fight against cancer in his internal organs.
56. Andr Philip (7), of John & Marie: Completely healed of leukemia.
(South America:)
57. This Christmas outreach (PL 9:57) was one of the best, especially in a deeper & more open way of witnessing, declaring His Message & Truth with boldness about who we are & about the Work we are doing for the Lord. Our dear children, JETTs & teens were able to do shows in institutions, orphanages, old folks' homes, as well as TV shows & radio programs.
58. Witnessing Teams (PL 9:60): During the Christmas push the Homes began sending out two or more teams daily, also including the children, JETTs & teens more in their witnessing. They're all now really on-fire to get out more, after seeing that it can be done & that it's fun!
59. Finances (PL 9:66): With increased outreach & follow-up during the Christmas push, along with dear Dad & Mama's generous gift of $1,000 worth of Videos per Home, the Lord is helping the Homes to find the balance in their witnessing & also supplying the needed finances.
60. Seminars (PL 9:61) have gone really well. The Lord has anointed the speakers, & many friends' lives are changing as a result! One has decided to tithe & many others are considering tithing.
61. Good PR with neighbours (PL 9:65): During the Christmas season many Homes visited their neighbours, singing them Christmas carols, giving them Posters, homemade cookies & Jesus! The neighbours were thrilled with this touch of love.
62. Protection of the Family in Colombia (PL 8:159): One of the top five terrorist leaders was captured recently in answer to prayer, in what the papers called the worst blow to the guerillas in 19 years. Also, one of their principal bomb-makers died when a bomb he was making blew up in his face! We had been praying that the Lord would turn their own weapons of war against them!
63. Ben (of Maggie) (PL 9:114) is almost fully recovered after his tractor accident, with only occasional discomfort in his lower back.
64. Christmas Treasure Attic in Portuguese (PL 9:112): Was completed in time for Christmas distribution!
65. Mercy (of Nehemiah) (PL 9:117) is staying positive & yielded & being a blessing in her new Home.
66. Family Musician with 10:36 parents (PL 7:87): Situation now more stable.
67. EA Gloria (of Nathanael) (PL 8:49): Not only are large cysts on ovaries gone, but she is pregnant!
68. Teen Josias (PL 10:57), who was hit by a bus, is almost totally healed!
69. Our lawyer in Chile won his court case. (PL 8:164)
70. Smog in Santiago has gone down to safe levels. (PL 8:171)
71. Juan Francisco's skin infections completely healed. (PL 8:173)
72. Trust (PL 10:56): Until Christmas Day, although her condition had stabilised, there hadn't been any progress in her responses. It seemed that she saw, heard, & felt nothing, not even the pain of her bedsores. But a group of Family Members went to pray for her on Christmas Day & read & claimed many verses on the Lord's Love & mercy toward her, also specifically asking Him to give her the strength to call out to Him herself. The very next day she began to cry & to make sounds while crying, giving the strong impression that she had indeed begun to cry out to the Lord herself for healing! These were the first sounds she had made since mysteriously lapsing into a coma six months ago! Even the doctor agreed that this was an indication of progress. Also, she has suddenly begun to respond to pain, increasing greatly her body movements, & turning her head in response to movement & voices.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
DAD & MAMA: For All (OCs & under with guidance)
73. Dad & Mama's security, & protection from vicious enemies of the Family, some of whom are doing everything to find them, even stirring up the authorities to locate & persecute them.
74. Dad's eating, that his food will go down easily with no problems, & that he will get the nourishment he needs.
75. Dad's sleep, both at night & during naps, is still being disturbed by violent coughing/choking spells which either keep him from falling asleep or wake both him & Mama, making it difficult for them to get sufficient rest. That the valve at the top of his stomach will function properly & not let the food come back up & burn his throat or choke him when he lies down to sleep.
76. That Dad's sleep will be sweet & undisturbed by noise or bad dreams.
77. Dad's overall strength & against the Enemy's attacks on his health.
78. For some weeks now Dad has been experiencing sharp pains in his shoulders, especially the left one, when he moves his arms into certain positions.
79. Dad's eyes, that they will continue to be strong & problem-free.
80. That Dad will be able to get enough exercise, & that he won't fall & break any bones. Continued safety & protection against accidents.
81. Mama's eyes, & that the Lord will miraculously keep her from headaches.
82. Please pray for Mama's strength, as she has felt very tired & weak lately.
83. For Peter, who over the last 3 months helped prepare & host the Summit '93 Meetings, as well as having to attend to a number of urgent & important Family matters, which have been a physical & spiritual strain. Please pray for the Lord to strengthen him & restore him to full health speedily.
84. David & Techi are progressing & happy, continuing to learn many lessons. Please pray for continued victories & progress.
85. Dad & Mama's Staff, who play such an important part in their ministry by their physical care, which allows Dad & Mama the time to do what only they can do.
WORLDWIDE: For All (OCs & under with guidance)
Parents & Children:
86. The strength, good health & protection of our pregnant mothers; that they will be on guard against the attacks of the Enemy & be desperate for the Lord's protection; that our mommies will receive the good care they need & take care of their diet & health; also that they will learn to exercise their faith muscles as far as going to the Lord & prayer for any complications that arise. For the Lord to supply friendly, favourable doctors, clinics & midwives for their care & deliveries. Against fear, as well as problems or complications.
87. Our precious childcare folks, that they can find real fulfilment in their special calling. For the Lord's inspiration & encouragement as they take care of kids, & for the Lord to raise up more people with a burden for childcare.
Health:
88. Against any negative effects of menopause on our women, which often occurs between the ages of 45 & 55, & can sometimes result in uncomfortable symptoms that hinder their work.
89. Against eye problems (resulting in headaches, reading difficulties, burning, discomfort, etc.) in children & adults that hinder their vital & needed Word intake & spiritual feeding.
90. For everyone to have regular, vigorous & safe get-outs.
91. Clean, pure water supplies for our Homes, or water purification systems if necessary. That the Lord will keep us from water-borne diseases in Third World countries.
92. Against seasonal sicknesses & childhood diseases that hinder our ministry to others.
93. Against Sodomite spirits attacking our children & adults.
WS Units, Pubs & Tools:
94. For our Pubs Units & their work on legal defence literature.
95. Writer in WS with heart problems is feeling much better. For continued strength & good health.
96. For our GP Statements, that they will bear much fruit in the hearts & lives of the recipients. That each recipient will be positively influenced by the Word within these Statements. That our Family Members will have the time to read, study & absorb them.
97. The persecution story for children, "Victory in Babylon." That the Lord will anoint those working on it & give them wisdom in presenting the concept of persecution to our children.
98. The finalising, duping & distribution of "New Worlds," the Teen Inspiration Video, that the Lord will anoint us to get out this meaty message, & that it will be a mighty witness of the Lord's Spirit & Message to all who see it!
99. Children's DO Video series: For the equipment, anointed script-writing, filming, simplicity & inspired, Spirit-filled productions! Completion of the initial videos.
100. Video Ministry: Shepherding & oversight, as well as inspiration & organisation. Editors' security, health & spiritual well-being. "Treasure Attic," completion & distribution of shows 3 & 4; filming & editing of shows 5 & 6. "Fantastic Friends" show completion & distribution. Endtime Video, that the scripting will be anointed & powerful. Other GP Projects in the works.
101. New Audio Tapes: Endtime Scripture Song Tape, new DTD Tapes for "Older Kids" & "Younger Kids."
Outreach, Follow-up & New Disciples:
102. Our catacombers & potential disciples, that they will be challenged & envisioned in their place of service, continue to grow & be grounded in the Word, & that the Homes will have real wisdom in ministering to them.
103. New disciples, their care, & wisdom in ministering to their parents & relatives.
104. Witnessing teams: Ways to get out more witnessing teams daily.
105. For our JETTs & teens to know how to answer questions from the Word. With outsiders often asking our children to answer & "give reason of the hope that is in them" (1Pet.3:15), please pray that our young people will be able to apply the wealth of Word they have stored within them. That the Holy Spirit will bring to their minds the Scriptures when they are asked questions while witnessing, "bringing all things to their remembrance."--John 14:26.
106. Our young people's spiritual progress & witnessing, specifically for the following:
--Against the Enemy's attacks on them in whatever form, trying to defeat them before they begin their most important jobs for the Lord.
--For more anointed teen & JETT Shepherds with a heart for them, who will lay down their lives for them & make the sacrifices that are required to help them through their learning & growing times.
--For the adults to have continued vision, inspiration, wisdom, love & conviction for their teens' & JETTs' training.
--That our teens & JETTs will hunger for the Word & grow stronger through it, so they can proclaim the Truth with whole-hearted conviction when System teens & young people ask them questions or challenge their lifestyle, beliefs, etc., & be well-prepared for the battles & spiritual attacks they will face.
--That our teens will be well-shepherded when out witnessing, & will have honest communication with their Shepherds about any doubts, questions or battles that arise as a result of their witnessing.
--Against a desire to be "conformed to this World"; that the attraction to those who do not have similar goals in life will not be a pull on our teens.
--That the Lord will bless their witnessing, give them broken hearts & a burden for the lost, reward them with thrilling experiences, & encourage them by causing them to bring forth fruit--saved souls & new disciples!
107. For our youth ministries to really take off & be fruitful.
108. Seminars: To truly change the lives of those attending & win kings & supporters. For the Lord's anointing on the teams giving the Seminars.
109. Follow-up on friends, contacts, supporters & lawyers, their personal growth, & the Lord's blessing in their lives & businesses. Good organisation & inspiration to put new Follow-up Home requirements into effect.
110. Good relations with neighbours: That opportunities will arise to minister to them & win their favour, & that we'll be good samples.
Finances & Home Affairs:
111. Finances & supply. For the Lord's balance between "souls & sales," & for all our Homes to stay a full month ahead with their cash buffer. That the Homes can quickly implement the counsel in the Follow-up FSMs in order to receive the blessings of greater fruitfulness & supply.
112. Provisioning: Miraculous leading & supply, follow-up & organisation; that our contacts will be richly blessed for their giving.
113. Home Shepherding Teamworks. For inspired, united, loving, prayerful, Word-based Teamworking & Shepherding of the Homes; against the Devil's device of disunity. A smooth transition for leadership changes & new Teamworks.
114. For our nationals' spiritual growth & maturity, & that they will have a real hunger for the Word.
115. Pending legal situations, passports, visas, etc., that the Lord will resolve any difficult or complicated situations & do the miracles needed.
116. For our Homes to continue to make progress in upgrading their computer equipment, thereby strengthening their communications & security.
Persecution:
117. Persecution preparations: Spiritual & physical strength, wisdom, media teams & spokespersons, teens, JETTs & children being ready for possible raids or questioning, Home samples, friends, contacts & lawyers.
118. Security, wisdom & conviction: For all of us to be very security-minded with phones, trips out, papers, computers & files, etc. That we'll be very wise & bold in speech, as we may be called upon to stand up for our convictions in facing accusations that come our way, even individually while out witnessing.
119. For those involved in legal or media battles, whether directly or by reading the false allegations of our enemies & preparing replies, writing affidavits, facing negative publicity, etc.; that they will not be weakened or adversely affected in any way, but rather that they will be strengthened by God's Word & "kept by the power of God through faith."--1Pet.1:5.

128. Against Watchman's anti-Family "documentary" video, which he has produced in an attempt to smear the Family audio-visually as he once tried to help the Family. That his sponsors will desert him, & that his lying attacks via video will come to naught.
129. Against TS (or backslidden) ex-mates trying to hinder their former mates or children, or causing problems for the Family.
130. For information about what's going on behind the scenes in all our media battles & legal conflicts, & that we can find out this kind of information about our enemies & their plans, so we can expose them.

That they will get the rest they need, stay in good health, have sufficient time with their families, & get positive input from the Word! Also for the Salvation of any who are not already saved, & that our Family Members will be faithful to feed & minister to them.
134. Researchers & their work on finding the literature, materials & resources we need for our lawyers to help them refute the false allegations against us. That the Lord will make their work fruitful, simple, quick & inexpensive!

Court Cases:
136. Upcoming "criminal" case in Barcelona, in which our enemies are making outlandish allegations against the Family, charging us with fraud for our provisioning & psychological damage to the children. Our lawyers have submitted our defense to the Provincial Court, where a panel of three judges will study the case & set a trial date some months in the future. Please pray for the following:
--Our lawyers. The Lord's anointing of wisdom & conviction for our cause. For them to grow in the overall vision of the Family & for us to be able to feed them the Word. That they will receive the Lord.
--The brethren. That the Lord will empower them with His Spirit so that they can stand up for the Family. For a vacuum to study the Word & the Statements. For the preparation of the children, 7 years old & up, as some of them are being called to testify at the trial; for boldness & conviction, especially for the older children & teens.
--The panel of three judges presiding over the case. That they will be unbiased, attentive & open-minded, & able to judge righteous judgement. For the Lord to open their hearts to the Truth even before the trial as they study the files of the case.
--Good media coverage & a real vindication of the Family.
--Against Jose Maria Jansa, a deprogrammer from Pro-Juventud who has been fraudulently setting himself up as an expert. That he will be exposed & thrown out of the case.
--Against Pro-Juventud & CROAS, that their illegal methods against us will be totally exposed. For the Lord to confound & confuse them & the DA, & the "experts" & witnesses which they are presenting.
137. Court case in England:
--Media Team preparation: Spiritually, personally & in their knowledge of our beliefs & Statements, as well as their conviction to stand up for the Truth & the Family with all faith & sincerity.
--Court case: We've just submitted over 40 affidavits to the opposition & to the court. We'd like to ask for your prayers that the material we presented will totally confound our enemies.
--Finances: That the Lord supplies abundantly for the case, as well as for all the extra related projects such as research, transportation, expert witnesses, etc.
--Court case staff: Many of those working on the case have sacrificed time with mates & children for many months now. For the continued strength & endurance of those who will need to remain in this situation, as well as for wisdom in making any necessary changes. Also for strength & wisdom in ministering to the lawyers, as well as to be rested & prepared for the new year.
--Potential witnesses: For the strength, health & spiritual preparation of all those who will be taking the stand for us this year. This includes DOers, teens, TSers, ex-members, parents & supporters.
--Legal team: For our lawyers' continued health & strength. For our counsel with them to decide the direction the case should take.
--The Judge: That he has time to read & study all our material & that he will be very open-minded to the Truth we've presented. For clear direction from him as to any main issues that need to be clarified. That he won't allow any new affidavits from ex-members to be submitted to the court.
--Our main lawyer: That he'll be able to get much-needed rest & restrengthening, & that he'll be able to spend time with his family, as he's giving so much of his time & energy to our case.

That the Lord will confound any new attacks they may try to launch, & cause them to go on the defensive.
--Old Family friend: That we can re-establish good contact & a relationship of trust with a long-time friend of the Family, that we can be a help to him & that the Lord will use him to stand up for us at this time.
--New contacts & supporters in places & professions of influence, such as home schoolers, pastors, psychiatrists, sociologists, etc.
--Expert witnesses: That the Lord will anoint their visits to our Homes, that they will recognise & understand the true spirit of our lifestyle & beliefs & be favourably impressed.
138. Argentina court cases to close quickly & favourably. The brethren involved could use your prayers for:
--Favourable publicity in the media to refute the lies & false accusations against us.
--Our media team.
--Final ruling in the three cases, which are very close to completion. One is in the hands of a judge who will probably give her decision in February. Whatever conclusion she comes to will set a precedent, mainly about Home Schooling, as in general this does not exist in Argentina. That the judge will rule favourably on this important point. Another ruling rests in the hands of two judges, & has been delayed. The third is overdue, & could come at any time. That these cases will come to a close quickly, & the Homes will be fully exonerated.
--Against our enemies, who have begun a campaign against our Videos & Tapes, saying that they lead to prostitution & contain subliminal messages. That we can find out more details on our enemies & their plans in order to counterattack.
--Our contacts with authorities, friends, supporters, & like-minded religious groups.
--The outreach situation, as the public has been negatively affected by the bad publicity.
139. Australia. Here are the combined prayer requests from the various court cases we are presently engaged in. Please pray for:
(Main case in Melbourne:)
--That the Lord will lead & guide the Family in Melbourne, & give them clear direction & real unity with their lawyers in how to proceed in the main case, which is on hold for lack of government funding. That there will be a full dismissal of the case.--Or that Legal Aid will be willing to fund our case if we have to return to court or wish to press charges against CSV for their wrongdoings.
--Our enemies & CSV have been continuing to gather more "evidence" to make their case against us stronger. That the Lord will confound all their efforts & bring them to naught.
--That we can expose the CSV's waste of taxpayers' money in continuing to push their case against us.
(Lamb's case, which the CSV has appealed:)
--That the judge will continue to rule in our favour & dismiss the protective care application for Lamb's children as he did before. That CSV will not be able to appeal again or reopen the case.
(Ivan's case:)
--That the Lord will lead, guide & anoint Ivan in the case his wife has brought against him, threatening that he will never see his children again unless he cuts off all contact with us.
--That the threats which his wife & her relatives are breathing out against him will completely come to naught, & that the Lord will continue to strengthen Ivan's faith in the Lord & the Family through this ordeal.

--For Paul Silver, who was charged with "obstructing justice" at the time of the police raids on our Homes last May, simply for objecting to the authorities' heavy-handed tactics, which even the papers have described as "Gestapo-like." That he will be cleared of all charges & the Lord will use this lesser case to strengthen our position in the main Melbourne case.
--Our lawyers, barristers & QCs (Queen's Counsellors) representing the Family in Sydney & Melbourne, that the Lord will continue to help & anoint them with His wisdom & spiritual understanding, for them to see more of the overall vision & how this is religious persecution; that they can get more vision & feeding from the Word, as it has been difficult to try to pin some of them down to read more of our Statements & relevant Letters. For our main lawyer in Sydney to draw closer to the Family.
--QC who is seriously ill with cancer. Pray desperately.
--Another of our lawyers, who is having financial problems & domestic problems. For yet another of our lawyers, a chain smoker who recently quit smoking & is going through nicotine withdrawal.
--Continued good progress in follow-up, winning new friends & contacts & strengthening existing friends, contacts, media people, lawyers, home schoolers, etc.
--Finances, that the Lord will help the Homes to be more indigenous.
--That our home schooling can continue to progress, be a good sample & meet the children's needs. For the anointing of the teachers.

140. Hope, Europe, hospitalised with a serious liver problem. Her liver has stopped functioning & doctors say she probably won't live more than 2 months.

142. Joan (of Michael), Europe, who is 5 months pregnant. When Joan went in for a check-up, the scan showed something wrong with the baby, seeming to indicate some problems with its kidneys. The parents have asked that the Lord will heal the baby or mercifully take it Home to be with Him. Also for faith, trust & peace, freedom from mind battles, & that they will be able to leave the child in the Lord's hands.
143. Phoebe (PL 10:60), Europe, who has been diagnosed as having Hodgkin's Disease, a form of cancer. This affliction has resulted in constant high fevers, which have left her thin & weak, as well as a serious cough that keeps her up a lot at night, & itchiness all over her body. Please help support her in prayer for relief from this long-term affliction, that she can be strengthened spiritually as well as physically, not lose heart or be "weary in well-doing," & for a complete & miraculous deliverance. Now that her baby is weaned, she has decided to commence medical treatment, & her Home has asked for prayer for wisdom, as well as for the Lord to raise up very favourable doctors & clinics.
144. Trust (PL 10:56), So. America, to regain control over her bodily functions, & to be able to communicate. This needs continued desperate prayer, as scientifically it's impossible for her to recover. The brain infection she suffered has damaged every area of her brain, destroying the parts that control her conscious life, movement, speech, etc. Please also pray for her 7 children, who have been real troopers, not losing faith that their mom will recover. 145. Peruvian Pablo, So.America, healing from melanoma (skin cancer), & that it won't spread. "That I will not miss any lesson the Lord wants to teach me through this experience. Also that it will result in long-term victories, especially in my prayer life, having a real hunger for the Word & a close, deep relationship with the Lord, & being a real good sample to my brethren."
146. For L., So. America, a faithful friend diagnosed as having malignant cancer of the uterus.
147. Handicapped Pepe (PL 10:52), So. America: Permanent relief from suffering.

148. EA Crystal, back injury & bedridden for last six weeks, with circulation blockage in one leg & quite a bit of pain. Doctors can't find out what's causing the trouble. For miraculous healing without an operation if possible, & that she'll learn & grow spiritually through this time.
149. New Outreach Home: Supply of a new outreach open Home this next month.
150. Protection of the Family in England in the wake of IRA bomb attacks in London. One of our teams was only 100 metres away from a bomb blast. For the safety & protection of our outreach teams, including our OCs, JETTs & teens.
151. Two of our new Serbian disciples on a parental visit got kidnapped by their Serbian parents. For their protection, & that they'll soon be free to rejoin.
152. Continued open doors in the Yugoslav refugee camps, & that we will be able to continue to minister to these precious people. For the Lord's anointing of our teams going there. Also that the Lord will provide financially for the Homes that are involved in this ministry, which does not pay financially but requires time & personnel.
153. Mercy (Swedish), recurring problem with a pinched nerve which makes it difficult for her to walk, move about freely & hinders her service for the Lord.
154. Tracy (13) of James & Jenny. Frequent headaches that have hindered him for some time now.
155. Persecution brewing in Italy, with media smears: That the Lord will lead & guide & give wisdom to all engaged in this fight, confound our enemies & foil their schemes, & that we can find out more information about their plans. Please specifically pray for the Lord to raise up lawyers to help us, as though we do have a very favourable lawyer, he has been extremely busy & it has been difficult for the Family to minister to him. Please pray we can see & feed him on a regular basis, & that if he is God's man for the job that the Lord will continue to anoint & help him to be a real defender of the Work, or that the Lord will raise up others who will fight for us, including media contacts.

Victor children & families in the Italian Area, some of whom have gone through many programs & training situations & have gained some victories, but in several cases are still battling with their long-standing problems. That the Lord will bring about real breakthroughs for each child, & that the children, as well as the parents, will really grasp the lessons that the Lord is trying to teach them.
157. A Family king in Italy, who is looking for housing to donate for the Family's use, that he finds the house the Lord would want for us. That the Lord will draw this man closer & give him a real hunger for the Word & our fellowship, & work it out for him to visit one of our Homes. For wisdom in ministering to him.
158. Negative news articles have come out in Switzerland. Against any negative effects of these articles, that the Lord will protect the Work, & also that the newspaper will keep their word & publish our rebuttal.
159. Albanian pioneer work: For the Lord's guidance & protection, & that He will help the Catacombers & other contacts to grow closer to Him & the Family. Also for wisdom & protection in the team's contact with the many church groups that have come to Albania.
160. Against the tension in Kosovo, a Yugoslavian province bordering Albania, largely populated by Albanians. This area is declaring independence from Serbia, which could cause the Serbs to send their army in. If that happens, it is rumoured that Albania will be forced to go to war with the Serbians. For the Lord's peaceful solution to this situation, & protection for the Albanian work.
161. Polish Ministry Home, which has been put up for sale, though the landlord had agreed not to. That no one will want to buy the house, that the landlord stays favourable & stable, & that the Lord will enable us to stay in our good location as long as possible.
162. Russian friend of the Family who has a brain tumour that is non-malignant. (--And which has not grown at all since we began praying for him!) That he will get healed & stay healed, and that both he & his wife will draw closer to the Lord & the Family.
163. Against Russian evangelical church pastor who held up one of our Posters in his service & told the congregation we preach prostitution; that this incident will not turn into anything bigger or have negative repercussions for the Work.
164. For wisdom & guidance in handling the legal paperwork for a large inheritance, & for the lawyer & various relatives involved. For one of the close relatives in particular, who is a media person, that the Lord will win him & help him to be a blessing & support.
165. Scandinavian Martin, who is having very strong backaches, & as a result he has been unable to continue in his teaching ministry.
166. Jonathan (of Sara) was involved in a serious car accident. That this breaking in Jonathan's life will turn out to be a real blessing in disguise for him, making him the new man He wants him to be, a yielded tool in the Lord's hand, fully dependent on Jesus & open & honest about his weaknesses, rather than strong & sufficient in himself. Also that the Lord will give Jonathan & his family a real breakthrough with their 2 Victor children.

Yugoslavia: That the Lord will bring an end to the horrible carnage & ethnic slaughter, & protect & provide for the poor innocent victims of the war, sending His Angels to "encamp round about them that fear Him, to deliver them."--Psa.34:7. Please pray that through all of this many will turn to the Lord, & that His children will be able to reach those who need Him & give them "peace in the midst of storm," as He is a "very present help in trouble."--Psa.46:1.

195. Thai James. Due to his congenital heart defect he is prone to severe headaches & slow recovery from relatively minor afflictions. For greater resistance to sickness & that the Lord will give him supernatural strength to keep serving Him.
196. Daniel (6) of Peter & Peace. Against attacks of fear which come in the form of bad dreams.
197. EA Faithy, chronic ingrown toenails.

200. S.E.A. Training Center rent renewal: That they are able to retain their present housing, as the owner is considering signing over the property to an organisation. Also for a spiritual breakthrough in the lives of the owner & his family.
201. Sara C. Poor health & attacks of extreme fatigue, possibly due to menopause.
202. Esther of Ron, who just had healthy twin girls! For her full recovery from a Caesarian delivery & that the Lord will help the babies to adjust quickly to a routine & schedule.

204. Filipina Praise, asthma; for more faith & obedience.
205. Peter (of Mary): For full recovery from a poisonous snakebite which could have been fatal. Against further infection.
206. Celeste (10) of Andre & Crystal: Very underweight despite all efforts made to help her gain weight. That she'll be able to come up to the proper weight for her height.
207. Pakistan School: Speedy healing of all sick children, & that it will not spread to other Homes in the area, nor affect their witnessing outreach.
208. Security for Homes in Pakistan: There have been several recent security situations with mail & courier packets in & out of the country being opened, & a mail pouch stolen from one Home's van. For the Homes' security, & that the Lord will help them to be very mindful of His checks in this sensitive field.
209. Live-out Members in Pakistan who would like to become fulltime Members. For their families to accept their decision, & for the wisdom to be able to bring them into fulltime fellowship & discipleship without any serious security repercussions.
210. Against sickness at the S.E.A. Training Center, for speedy healing of all those affected, & that it will not spread any further. Protection for two pregnant mommies, who are due to deliver, & for the protection of their newborns.
211. Joy, Philippines: For her to be restrengthened spiritually after the Manila situation, & for openness & receptivity to the shepherding she is receiving at this time.
212. For the new Manila Home Teamwork, continued restrengthening of DO Members & close friends, particularly V. & H.
213. Against backsliders (not TSers) in the PI who are using Family materials fraudulently in provisioning & raising funds.

Against Vivian, who is trying to stir up trouble at their school in an attempt to get the kids back, & has been mailing Barz all sorts of poisonous material from our enemies. That his kids will stand strong in the faith, not be swayed by Vivian's lies, & be able to serve the Lord more freely.
215. For the health of a Christian psychologist who has been helpful to us, as he's in poor health & has a severe cough.
216. Continued receptivity, lasting fruit, & open doors among contacts made during our Christmas outreach; faithfulness & wisdom for those doing follow-up work. Also, for positive responses from officials & authorities we are meeting.

Thank the Lord, he was able to pull out of them with prayer & rest, without using the aspirator. That the Lord will honour his stand of faith & deliver him from further attacks of asthma.
* Son of Family friend (PL 7:44): Complete deliverance from spiritual pests & problems, & to come close to the Lord. For his dad's health, protection & spiritual growth.
* Joshua (4, of Titus & Charity), recovering from serious illness. For his progress & speech.

REACTIONS TO THE WORLDWIDE PRAYER LIST! For All

So that we can cover all the prayer requests, we've made a little schedule of what to pray for each day of the week, & given each adult, teen & EA a person to pray for from the list. This has been helping us to get stirred up in praying for all these prayer requests, & when the Lord answers, it really increases our faith more!
From Jonathan & Dawn, Asia:
After the prayer request for Stevie (4) appeared in PL 7, for the first time in his life during the hot season he didn't have any fevers, & has been very healthy & happy, with no signs whatsoever of his former weaknesses.--A real miraculous answer to worldwide prayer! GBY all for praying for him!
From Stephen, Esther & John Q., Europe:
We've seen tremendous progress in the lives of the teens & EAs as they get more involved in personal witnessing. Thank you for the prayer request for the teens & their witnessing. It was a real help for us to lead them into more deep witnessing under better supervision.

This month we had a miracle happen, as one of our toddlers had not yet had his testicles drop, & all the doctors were recommending an operation. He was put on the Prayer List, & when he went for a checkup this month with a specialist, he said they had both dropped & we should "let nature take its course." PTL! We know this is a real answer to all our prayers & we are very thankful to Him for performing this miracle!

The Prayer Lists are such a blessing & make me feel so much closer to all my brothers & sisters around the World, as well as Grandpa & Maria. They are a vital line of communication that enables us to support & fight for each other in prayer. It gives me a real motivation to exercise my power of prayer & to get busy fighting for Grandpa & Maria & the Family. It also gives me more fire & vision, because without these Prayer Lists it would be difficult to imagine what is going on, & our prayers wouldn't have so much impact if we just knew generalities.

I have never seen the kids so excited as when I read them parts from the Prayer List, for OCs & down, with counsel & guidance. They were just thrilled to hear what the Lord's doing behind the scenes, His miracles of supply, provision & protection! They were so excited it was hard to calm them down! For some parts, I gave them a rundown verbally on the World situation & how the Lord is protecting our precious Family, as previously they had the idea in their mind that if you are in this or that country, you can't be safe. Lately, through getting them to pray more for the Home & for the Family, they're learning how the Lord answers even if it seems it's taking longer. When they heard of Auntie Lamb's case being dismissed, they were jumping up & down for joy. Prayer vigil has become one of their favourite activities. They really like to pray for Grandpa & rebuke the Enemy in the spirit. TYL!

Priscilla has been reading parts of the Prayer List with the OCs. She says it's very exciting for them & is really giving them a desire to pray for others. They've decided that during part of their quiet time, when they have time to read, two of them will do prayer vigil each day. They're making special revised prayer lists for this & are putting prayer requests on the back of their memory work to carry with them throughout the day.

It's really inspiring to go through the Prayer List & read all the answered prayers. It is encouraging to see all the Lord has done, & through this glorify Him even more. In the situation with Lamb's & Pearl's court cases, even though it's not all done we can see that a lot of things have been answered, & little by little the Lord is taking care of it. Also, it's so exciting to see not only worldwide answered prayer, but local Area & Home prayer requests have been fulfilled as well. All of this is really faith building & it teaches great principles to our children in particular. Prayer is the best & most powerful weapon a person can possess. TYJ!
