URGENT WORLDWIDE PRAYER REQUESTS!--No.2--From WS

(Because of the many important & timely prayer requests listed in "Urgent Worldwide Prayer Requests!--No.2," Dad & Mama felt it was important to get this pub to you quickly. To save time, the publications department decided to forego our normal pubs format in order to get this pub to you as quickly as possible.)
Dear Family,     DO 9/91
         GBY! Thank you for your prayers for the situations we mentioned in the first worldwide "Prayer Request" list! The Lord has already provided some marvellous answers!--Please be sure to see the "Answered Prayer" section near the end! "Jesus never fails! He always answers when we stir ourselves to call upon Him with a whole heart!" (ML #311:43)
         Following are some more specific situations for which we would greatly appreciate your prayers! In compiling these requests, we mainly included the more long-term matters, because it takes a while to compile them & then get them out to the Family, whereas short-term illnesses or problems might end up being resolved before publication. PTL! Although we've had to edit some of these prayer requests a little for the sake of security, we've tried to supply as many details as possible so you can be specific with the Lord. We have also had to drop some prayer requests completely due to security or other considerations. However, these requests will still be prayed for locally & by our worldwide leadership.
         We trust that you are finding these "Prayer Requests" a blessing & an inspiration in your vigils & various prayer times. We wanted to explain that we mainly concentrate on putting the latest additional prayer requests in these fliers. In other words, this list is not meant to be all-inclusive nor complete. For example, in the section "Pubs, Video & Audio Tapes," we are asking you to pray for the new children's pubs in the works. We are assuming that you will continue to keep the GNs, FSMs, WNDs & other regular pubs in your prayers as well, on an ongoing basis. The reason we do not list everything here is due to limited space.

         (In addition to requests for physical healing, we will also be including requests for spiritual healing or renewal or progress for those who are going through an important time of lesson-learning or who are working on overcoming long-standing problems or NWOs. If you should find your name on the list, be glad & rejoice! You are being given the tremendous privilege of having our precious worldwide Family focus their loving & powerful prayers on you! Thousands of our dedicated fulltime soldiers will be upholding you before the throne of grace for His help in your time of need! Of course, you may experience some initial embarrassment or blow to your pride, but that is a very small price to pay compared to the enormous benefits you stand to receive! What could be better than having your loving brothers & sisters everywhere praying for you?! God bless & keep you all close to Him & each other!--In prayer!

         "He is bound by His Word! So remind Him of it, cling to His promises, memorise & quote them continually, & never doubt for a moment that God is going to answer--& He will! He has to! He wants to! Trust Him! And thank Him for the answer--even if you don't see it immediately!" (ML #731:58) WLY!

         The following is a lesson & thank-you note written by Donato (Nic, 64 years old), during his recovery from his operation for cancer of the tongue.
         "GBY! IRLYVM! TYSM for your prayers & your encouragement. I'd like to pass on to Dad & Mama that I was genuinely touched by their concern for me. Sometimes you think that you're just too small to matter, but knowing how busy they are, I'm so grateful & thankful that their prayers are there to uphold me. I just really pray that I'm deserving of all of this attention, because at times I feel so unworthy. I know that the Lord is trying to teach me something through all of this, and it's a battle every step of the way.
         "At times I realise that it's showing me how smug I've been, & at times condescending to others about their weaknesses, especially when it came to things about health, since I'd always considered myself such a healthy person. I really see that I've been wrong in not being compassionate about others' sicknesses. I really ask for forgiveness for feeling that way toward them.
         "As much as I consider my illness something that the Lord has allowed, I also feel it's been a real attack of the Enemy, & that I have to really fight back with the Lord's strength. At this time of my life, knowing that I'm striving so hard to overcome other things, I felt that the Enemy saw that I was trying to get closer to the Lord, so he stepped in the way & made the battle even tougher, but at the same time it's made me more determined to fight this battle. If it were not for the many prayers from the Family, I couldn't be handling this at all. The Word has been my strength against these attacks, hanging on to the promises of the Lord, that He won't give me more than I'm able to bear, & that verse about counting this affliction as a blessing, that it'll help me to grow. Hanging on to those verses has been so important to me. I've been listening to Word tapes, & they've been so comforting to me.
         "I have to be honest & say that at times I've been upset & angry at all of this happening, & it's so easy to slip into a `poor me' attitude, especially when the pain is really strong & nothing seems to be able to stop it. But as I fall into that pit every once in a while, the Word & the tapes & everything makes me just thank God that I'm in the Family. TTL for the testimonies of those who've gone through similar types of experiences, sicknesses, etc., & have gotten victories.
         "It's difficult to separate your emotions from the facts sometimes. I know that the only thing that is going to carry me through is having the faith that the Lord is going to heal me. But then the Enemy comes in & attacks, & it really is a battle every step of the way. And I know without a doubt that only hanging on to the Word & getting more & more Word will rescue me, for without it I'm lost.
         "I really hope I can continue to be a good sample. I'm really trying & hope I can come through this purge of my faults, & be better for it, because I know it's not an accident, it's something that is going to be a benefit to me. Please pray for the following:
DAD & MAMA: [For All]
         * Dad's liquified foods have been going down much better lately, thanks to your prayers, with no stoppage or blockage. Please continue to pray for his complete healing so that he can once again eat solid foods.
         * Dad's continued safety & protection against accidents. (falls, etc.)
         * Dad was experiencing little stabbing pains in his eyes now & then, with frequent eye patterns & occasional brief difficulty in focusing his eyes, all of which the Lord has now healed. PTL! Please continue to pray for his eyesight, that it will be strong, clear, and pain-free.
         * Dad's had no more diarrhea after you prayed desperately for him! TTL!
         * Recently Dad has been having frequent sharp pains in his side & lower back which occur whenever he rises from a sitting position or sits up from a prone position, which of course is many times a day. Please pray that the Lord will do a real miracle in not only stopping the pain but completely healing the problem.
         * Dad's overall strength & against the Enemy's attacks on his health.
         * Dad's sleep, that it will be sweet & undisturbed by coughing or bad dreams.
         * Dad's classes with the Family!
         * Mama's eyes: "That I will get as many precious lessons as possible out of this affliction, both personal lessons & lessons for the Family.--That through it, the Lord will show me `great & mighty things' & will give me `the treasures of darkness & the hidden riches of secret places.'" (Jer.33:3; Isa.45:3.)--And that in His perfect time He will heal me.
         * Mama: That the Lord will miraculously continue to keep her from headaches, which frequently threaten her, but due to your prayers are kept at bay.
         * Techi & David are doing beautifully--Thanks for your prayers! Please pray for continued victories & progress.
         * Dad & Mama's Staff, who play such an important part in their ministry & physical care in allowing them the time to do what only they can do.

         * New children's pubs: Stories, Talk Times, Games, etc.!
         * Videos: Two new GP children's Videos, which we hope will be out by Christmas. This will take a miracle, so please pray. A new GP Video for JETT-age children.
         * Music Studios: New GP Bible Character Song Tape to be finished in time for Christmas, God willing; new GP Teen Endtime Scripture Tape.
         * Writing of more new children's songs for the GP Videos.
WORLDWIDE: [For All]
         * Our leadership.
         * Delegates' Meetings, Rotating Training Programs (RTPs) & Seminars.
         * The Lord's inspiration & practical solutions for implementing the Discipleship Training Revolution in each Home.
         * Sufficient Word time for all our adults.
         * The raising up of lawyers for each Area worldwide & the strengthening & anointing of the ones we already have.
         * Kings & supporters, inheritances & windfalls!--And more faith for finances.
         * Our Family's health & safety.
         * Our Teens & JETTs to become the witnesses the Lord wants them to be, with a fervent love for the lost & real joy in their witnessing & soul-winning.

EUROPE: [For Senior Teens & Above]
         * Peter Grin, who has been diagnosed with cancer of the kidneys & has returned to Denmark with his Thai wife & family after 9 years on the field. He has already undergone two operations & chemotherapy, & the doctors said he needs another operation to remove the remaining traces of cancer. Please pray for the Lord's miraculous healing & that he will learn the lessons that the Lord's trying to teach him so he & his family can return to the mission field soon.
         * Eman Branch (Obadiah Bush) who has had an eyelid infection for about 8 years & constantly suffers from burning eyes.
         * Spanish Victoria, who is crippled & a single mom, pregnant with her 4th child & battling discouragement.
         * Joy Harmony, who suffers from hereditary polyarthritis. She has been able to stop using her crutches but still experiences severe pain & discomfort.
         * Italian Angelo's (Peter) court case, stemming from a very old case of Family persecution, which is coming up in October--for all charges to be dropped quickly & that the case will finally be closed.
         * Swiss Phoebe, who has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease (a form of cancer), & is now entering the 6th month of pregnancy with her first child--that the Lord will strengthen Phoebe in her stand of faith for His healing & that the Lord will rebuke this attack of the Enemy, deliver & heal Phoebe, and continue to keep the baby. (Phoebe, here's a verse for you to claim: "And I will rebuke the Devourer for your sake, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts."--Mal.3:11.--Love, Mama)
         * The complete recovery of German Micah, who recently decided to undergo brain surgery for the removal of a tumour that was threatening to cause blindness. Micah is battling severe headaches while recuperating from this very delicate & serious operation, & has now seen how this tumour was linked to his long-standing bitternesses. He's asked for prayer to be totally delivered from all bitternesses & to begin a new life of commitment for the Lord & His Service.
         * Jesse (9) of Leland & Grace, who has had ear infections for years & is now deaf in one ear, & has problems with his other ear. The doctors say that nothing can be done, but we know the Lord can completely heal!
         * Bill, an influential System advisor of investors the Family met recently--that he will grow in the Lord & that the Lord will use him to be a help to the Family.
         * Barcelona: That the judge will give permanent custody to the parents soon, & against a newspaper that has been lying about us.
         * Against a new "witch hunt" arising against the cults in Western Europe.
         * Against Valerie. (See FSM #195, pg.17.)
         * Eastern Europe: The MISSLE teams; translators & mail ministries; follow-up; new catacombers; political stability.
         * Yugoslavia, for strengthening of & good communication with our new catacombers; political & economic situation to soon clear up so that we can return; that the Lord will really use this time of crisis to get the people more desperate for Him & our Message.
         * Russia: Teams facing heavy spiritual battles; protection of our friends & catacombers during this "time of trouble"; political stability.
         * Polish Peter & his mate Marysia to return to the Family soon. Peter was one of our brave Russian Pioneers who left the Family recently due to discouragement after facing heavy spiritual battles while laying down his life for the sheep in Russia.
         * Against enemies of the East European Work, including backslider Willing (formerly Simon) who is spreading lies to catacombers & is trying to recruit TSers to join him. Against the anti-cult propaganda that's slowly beginning to creep into the EE.
         * Against "cult specialist" Michael Haupt & embittered enemy Mrs. Trottmann.
NORTH & SOUTH AMERICA: [For Senior Teens & Above]
         * 16-year-old Becky of Eden & Little Josh who has had a severe stroke with massive brain hemorrhaging. Although partially paralysed at first & in quite critical condition, she has been miraculously recovering in spite of a 4-hour operation. Although the doctors are insisting that she must have a very dangerous second operation or she could die at any moment, she wants to trust the Lord for her complete healing. The Lord has been bringing her backslidden father closer to the Family through this experience--please also pray for him. Becky is now able to walk again with assistance, has regained most of her sight, & is now relearning how to talk & read. (See Mama's letter to Becky at the end.)
         * 7-year-old Andr of John & Marie in Canada, who's been undergoing chemotherapy treatment for leukemia for several years. Please pray for the Lord to touch & heal him completely & to deliver him from the painful medical treatment. He is very precious & is still very alert & intelligent, except that he often gets very tired & weak from his medication. The Lord has used this illness to give him a very sweet & encouraging spirit, & we would like to claim the verse "but let it rather be healed" for him.
         * Benji (2), of Jordan & Praise, who has a severe skin allergy.
         * Ahlai Prayerful (of Tim). She is experiencing much pain & discomfort from possible cancer of the cervix.
         * Donato, one of our older Family Members, is currently recovering from an operation for cancer of the tongue. Please pray for his complete & swift recovery. (See his lesson near the beginning of this list.)
         * Juan & Abi's health, as they've been experiencing frequent afflictions amidst a busy travel schedule.
         * Sharon: Encouragement & strength for her important shepherding responsibilities during a period of heavy battles, including weak health.
         * Joshua (3), who suffered brain damage from meningitis shortly after birth & is still undergoing regular treatment.
         * Juanito, 10-month-old son of Santiago & Sherry, who is having problems with his testicles. An operation has been recommended, but his parents have decided to trust the Lord for his healing.
         * Santiago (2), of Lucas & Hannah, who has paralysed muscles. Doctors have recommended an operation; his parents are praying for the Lord's Will.
         * Sherry, who has Parkinson's disease & severe torticollis, as well as an advanced case of scoliosis (curvature of the spine). She was told by doctors that she would not be able to have any children, but has since had 4 boys, PTL! Her condition is painful.
         * Against the effects of a recent TV show warning people against our tools.
         * Against Alfredo Silleta, who is writing unfavourable articles against the Family.
         * Against enemies Mrs. De Viola & Humberto Lagos.
         * Against anti-cult "specialist" Andrade, who is working with the evangelicals & is holding extended seminars on how to get rid of the cults--mainly us. Pray the Lord will defeat them & put them to confusion & not allow it to hinder His Work. Also pray against Dalva Lynch, a backslider who has been a bitter enemy & been causing trouble for several years & is now working with this same group of evangelicals.
         * Against reporters Marcelo Resende & Roberto Cordiero, & Globo, their TV & newspaper company, who are accusing us of child trafficking & are planning a major smear campaign against us with accompanying raids. Please pray for the Homes as many of them are known addresses & the brethren are having to move at short notice. Pray also against the repercussions all this could have on other Latin American countries. Pray for the protection of our children.
EAST: [For Senior Teens & Above]
         * Faithy: In light of the new Letter, "Rulebreakers Beware," we want to thank the Lord for Faithy's wholehearted acceptance of this "spanking" & pray that we can be just as good a sample as she is in taking any needed correction. Please also pray for her encouragement during this time of breaking & that the Lord will help her to make the lasting changes that she desires.
         * Tony (Zack Attack) & his wife Claire, who are currently in Japan. Although Tony has had many hours of personal counselling & attention from some of our top leadership, he has persistently manifested some very serious NWOs of complaining about & criticising Family policies. Because these problems & complaints from Tony kept recurring, his leadership finally forwarded one of his OHRs to the Folks. Mama's response was a lengthy Letter to Tony, exposing how groundless his complaints are. When Dad was informed of the situation, he responded in a "hot" Letter which is similar in tone to "God Hates Murmuring!" (Lord willing, these Letters will be published soon in GNs!) These Letters have now been read with Tony & Claire, & they've chosen to "humble themselves under the mighty hand of God" & cry out to Him for forgiveness & a chance to bring forth fruit meet for repentance rather than go to the System to learn their lessons the hard way. Because a genuine "metanoia" & a major rewiring of their previous off-track thought patterns is needed in order for them to truly become the vessels the Lord wants them to be, your prayers on their behalf will be a real blessing & help to them in this time of change & spiritual revolution in their lives. So please pray that they will be able to gracefully "take" the exposure that the publishing of these Letters will result in, & that they will truly be "doers" of this Word from the Lord that they've been given. Thanks!

         * Teen Ben (17), who has been given many chances & much "special" treatment & still refuses to forsake bitterness, independence & extreme pride--that he'll fall in love with Jesus & yield.
         * Teen Joan of Francesco & Katrina (Jesse & Deborah)--referred to in FSM 186 on "The Joy of Parenting" (Pg.10-15) as "J."--who has received much close shepherding & training but still needs a breakthrough to get desperate about forsaking her bitternesses & pride, & to yield her will to the Lord.

         * Mercy Ledbetter, an Area Shepherd, who has been hindered by a serious case of negative thinking, doubting Family policy, murmuring, bitterness & an angry spirit.
         * Happy (Simon Peter), for continued progress against self-righteousness, criticalness & carnal-mindedness, & for greater yieldedness & closeness to the Lord.
         * Japanese David (12), who has had severe asthma since birth, & as a result is quite frail & unable to fully partake of school & other children's activities.
         * Precious, new baby of Chris (Zatthu) & Lena, born with possible brain damage, but has improved considerably with prayer. For the parents, that they will draw closer to Him through this & gain needed victories in their lives.
         * Protection of our Family in Thailand, in light of a big persecution of the Moonies there.
         * Divina: For lasting victories over her jealousy & bitterness, which result in further battles with negative thinking.
         * Tina (Adar, of Happyheart): To be freed from negative thinking & condemnation over her past mistakes & failings.
         * Baby Gabriel of Matthew & Rose, who experiences frequent fevers with no known cause.
         * That a certain small group of disgruntled TSers will not become enemies nor try to stir up any trouble.
         * Abner, Indian national, who has been diagnosed as having a hereditary muscular disease called Biotonia, for which there is no known cure. It's becoming increasingly difficult for him to walk & get around.--For a miraculous healing.
         * Steven, Indian national, who developed epilepsy in the last two years. This has been a real battle for him, as he has had severe seizures or black-outs which have seriously hampered his ability to carry out any fulltime ministries.--For his complete healing!
         * Against a backslidden husband who went to the authorities to try to get all seven of his children away from the mother, Lamb, who is in a DO situation. The custody case has now been rescheduled for November so that our enemies have further time to try to gather some "evidence." This is a very serious situation, so please continue to desperately pray for the protection of these precious little ones, as well as for the overall Work and against any further delays in the case, & that in the final outcome the Family will be vindicated, our enemies defeated & the Lord will win a great victory! "Stand back & watch Me fight, saith the Lord!"--Exo.14:13,14; 2Chr.20:17.
         (Footnote: When praying for the children listed above, please also pray for their parents--that the Lord will comfort them & help them to draw close to Him & to learn precious lessons during this time of suffering.)
ANSWERED PRAYER!: [For All]
         * The children in Barcelona have been released into their parents' custody for the Summer months!
         * In Scandinavia, an investigation of the Family was closed with the officials ending up quite favourable and very impressed by our beautiful children. They encouraged the local Family to continue in their good work. Many friends & supporters came to our defense during this time & testified in our behalf. A new precious sheep ministered to during this time was one of the main police officials involved in the case, who turned out to be the best friend of a local Shepherdess from her high-school days!
         * The EE MISSLE teams' Summer witness has been very fruitful!
         * The Lord miraculously stabilised the situation in Russia after only three days of the coup, & our Family is carrying on there, PTL!
         * Donato is recovering well from his recent operation for cancer of the tongue.
         * In South America, a TV program interviewing one of our main enemies was suddenly cancelled! This enemy, Mrs. De Viola, is now receiving bad publicity herself. The President of this country has promised that he will work to safeguard religious freedom!
         * TTL, none of our South American Homes were touched by the recent cholera epidemic! While there have been several hundred thousand cases of cholera, with the threat of this number reaching into the millions, the Lord has stayed this plague & "no evil has come nigh our dwelling," TTL! (Psa.91:10) Also, a threatened ban on South American exports which would have had a crippling effect on the South American economy has been lifted, & exports have actually increased in recent months, thus strengthening the local economic situation--PTL!
         * Mary Mom has recovered well from her recent miscarriage & has resumed her important leadership responsibilities.

Mama's Letter to Becky:
Dear Becky,
         GBY! We love you so much & are keeping you in our desperate prayers, that the Lord will continue His miracles in your life & that you will learn all the wonderful lessons of faith He is trying to teach you. It's a real privilege to have the Lord touch your life in this special way--a great blessing in disguise. Even if you can't see the benefits right now, we're sure you'll be able to later!--Not only in this life, but in the one to come. "If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him."--2Tim.2:12. "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."--Rom.8:18.
         The Lord has counted you worthy to suffer & lay down your life for the brethren, to teach all of us lessons of faith, & more specifically to bring your daddy back to the Lord's service.--How much the Lord must love him! "Hereby perceive we the Love of God, because He laid down His life for us: & we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren."--1John 3:16. Your experience is not only benefitting the Family & your daddy, but is a priceless privilege from the Lord for you personally. "But the God of all grace, Who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you."--1Pet.5:10. He wants you to glory in your afflictions, that His power may rest upon you. (2Cor.12:9) He loves you very much & you are very precious to Him, & through this experience He is closer to you than ever before & is showing a special love for you.
         Thank you for your sweet letter written in May, before all this happened, which I just received yesterday. I'm sorry it took so long to get to me, but it meant much more to me, knowing you in a more personal way now through your illness. The Lord knows what is best for you & He knows that the lessons you are learning through all of this are the ones that are most valuable for you for right now. So although you can't be with us now in the flesh (In her letter, Becky had offered to come help out on the Folks' staff), we are very close in spirit as we pray for you & fight for your healing.
