INTRODUCING THE "STATEMENT ON TRF SUPPORTERS"    TS 6/95

Copyrighted July 1995 by The Family, Zurich, Switzerland

Dear TRF Supporter Family,
We love you and pray that the increased flow of new GNs and other publications coming your way has been an inspiration and strength to you. There are many thrilling new things happening in the spirit, and you can expect to continue to receive several exciting pubs testifying of these changes and victories in the near future. Praise the Lord!
Most of you have been learning to live and operate in small Homes without much contact with other Family members for some time now. Many of you have testified that this caused you to draw closer to the Lord and search His Word for guidance and direction. As you should by now have already received and read "The Family Adopts a Charter of Responsibilities and Rights," you know that there are a number of changes taking place in the DO Family. With much of the DO Family now making the transition to smaller Homes, many are probably facing a variety of the same challenges that you faced pioneering smaller Homes. We want to thank all of you who have sent in testimonies and lessons you learned in this regard. Were sorry we dont have room to publish them all, but you should soon be seeing a number of these in upcoming Family publications. These will no doubt prove to be a source of encouragement and blessing to others who are now going through similar changes. Praise the Lord!
Having defined the responsibilities and rights of DO Family members in the Love Charter, we likewise felt it would be helpful to define and document the same for TRF Supporters. All concerned, including those outside the Family, would then have a very clear understanding as to what being a TRF Supporter means and entails, and in what ways TRF Supporter status differs from DO membership.
To quote the TRF Supporter Advisory written by Peter Amsterdam last September: "Although the distinction between the different circles of the Familythe DO circle and the TRF Supporter circlemay have caused you some hurt or discouragement, in many cases it has been a protective device for both you and the DO Family. The authorities in most areas now seem to understand and accept that there is a differentiation between these two circles, and that the actions of one should not be held against the other. This means that if in the future the DO Family is raided by the authorities, you wont necessarily be lumped in with them. On the other hand, if a TRF Supporter Home is in some way a reproach, then the overall Family wont be held accountable.
"In a way its like two flesh brothers who grow up and marry and take up residence in different houses. Each of them then has his own family, yet they are still part of their greater or extended family. The brothers children are cousins, so they are part of the extended family, but they are also part of their own immediate family. If one of the brothers has some legal or other problems, the other brother normally would help all he can, but he is not held responsible for his brothers actions. In a sense, this is how our Family circles work. We are all part of the overall Family, just as the two brothers are both members of their family, but they live separately and they are not directly responsible one for another.
"Remember, though, were all very much a part of the
Lords Family. Hes our Father, and like the two brothers, were both connected to Him and loved by Him. He doesnt judge us by what Family circle we are in. He loves us unconditionally. He knows all of our heartaches, our trials, our needs, and He cares for us as if each of us was the only one in existence. We are all one in the Spirit, regardless of our place in the overall Family. We are all brothers and sisters because we have the same Father and Mother. So lets move on in unity and harmony with one another as we work side by side in the fields, sowing the seed of His Words and reaping the harvest of lost souls. May God bless and help us all as we work together to win the World for Him" (paragraphs 31, 32, 35.) Praise the Lord!

Accompanying this letter is the "Statement on TRF Supporters" which defines and explains the
minimum requirements for all TRF Supporters. We dont think you will find anything new or surprising in this document. We have attempted to keep the number of requirements and guidelines to a minimum to make it easy for you to continue operating according to your own faith, serving the Lord as you see fit. We know that you are attempting to do your best to live for the Lord and help further the goals of the Family, and we certainly want to encourage you to continue to do all you can for the Lord in your situation and as the Lord leads you.
The "Statement on TRF Supporters" summarizes all that is required as far as the minimum responsibilities and basic rights of the TRF Supporter Family, but by no means is it meant to embody all the technical procedures that World Services and/or your reporting office may have passed on to you. For example, we have
not attempted to address subjects like reporting instructions, ordering of tools and so forth, which would continue to be subject to notification by your reporting office.
We do pray that the "Statement on TRF Supporters" is a blessing in helping you define your role and goals in the overall Family in these exciting days of the End. As the Lord said recently in prophecy: "Now there is a new day, a new dawn, and all My children must join together and unite to accomplish the great task that is before them. Look to the horizon and see the dark clouds that are gathering, for they shall soon sweep the Earth and a great darkness shall be upon it, and a time of trouble that never was before, nor shall ever be again. Ye are appointed unto this time and ye must all hold the light high so that those who will be groping in darkness can see the light and come to the light, that they may be saved."
God bless and keep you! We love you!

         Love, Your World Services Family
