IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR ALL TRF SUPPORTER HOMES!
         (Dear Shepherds: Please read the following announcements with all Home Members age 12 & up, after you have read "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" & at least part of "Dad's Heavenly Welcome". Then remind everyone of appropriate excerpts from this list at your daily devotions, & as you pray with each team as they leave the house, etc., until November 28th. The reasons for these reminders & the Nov. 28th date are explained below.)

         1. Why WS Waited to Inform You of Dad's Homegoing via this Mailing:
         It's possible that some of you may wonder why you received such important news as Dad's Heavenly graduation by means of this mailing, when a news flash could have reached you considerably earlier. After all, you have received special notices from WS when other urgent or earthshaking situations arose which affected the worldwide Family, & what could be bigger news than Dad's Homegoing?
         Well, we believe that once you have read all of the beautiful things that the Lord & Mama & Dad himself have to say in this mailing about this momentous occasion, you will understand why we waited until we could pass this news on in the form of this GN (#609), even if it meant a delay in the news reaching you. (By the way, we compiled this GN as fast as we could, in order to get it to you as quickly as possible!)
         We believe that you would far prefer receiving this monumental 36-page GN full of the Lord's comforting promises, visions of Heaven & a full-page photo of our beloved father in the Lord rather than a few terse lines about his Homegoing via a news flash. We're sure you will agree with us that we simply could not have done the subject justice in a short news bulletin, or even a long one!
         Please be assured that Mama's first thoughts, almost from the moment that Dad passed on to the arms of Jesus, were for you. She wanted to share this wonderful news with you herself; & she wanted to pass it on in the same spirit of rejoicing & celebration as she knew the Lord & Dad would want. The result is the special 36-page GN on Dad's Homegoing. Mama & her staff, your CROs & we at WS have put a lot of prayer, counsel & planning into making this worldwide Homegoing Celebration a truly happy & memorable occasion for the whole Family. This is more than just a once-in-a-lifetime event, it's a once-in-forever event, & we wanted to do it right!

         2. If you hear that another Home has not yet received this mailing, please do not discuss the contents with them, but rather offer to share one or more of your copies with them until theirs arrive. Again, we ask that you let Mama share this news with them. Please don't even hint at what it might be! On this subject Mama commented, "It should be made very clear to everyone that they will be doing the Family & Grandpa & Mama & the others a great disservice & disappointing us greatly if they leak this to anyone. They should guard this information & pray for great wisdom that they don't slip."

         3. We are not "going public" with this news until November 28th, at which time the official WS press release will go out to all major news agencies worldwide. The reason for this delay is to allow ample time for all Homes to receive this mailing, & for the Family to tell their close friends.

         4. November 26th & 27th have been designated as the time to tell friends of the Family. We are sure that your friends will appreciate hearing the news from you, rather than reading it first in the newspaper, so that is why we are delaying the press release until the 28th.

         5. Please be sure to explain to your friends that you & the entire Family would appreciate it very much if they would not give this news to the media, but rather allow the Family the opportunity to do so in the official press release, which will be issued on the 28th.

         6. We have sent you advance copies of this press release so that you will be prepared in the event that the news leaks out before the 28th, & you are approached by the media. However, please do not give or send this release to the media prior to the 28th (unless the media has somehow already found out about Dad's Graduation & contacts you for confirmation). After the 28th, you are free to give the press release to whomever you feel led. (If a local language translation is needed for your Area & is not enclosed in this mailing, it will be in your next mailing, Lord willing.)

         7. GN 609 is DFO & you may share appropriate parts of it with your friends & contacts, as the Lord so leads

         8. On or after the 26th, you may copy as much of the main Homegoing material as you feel would be helpful for your close friends & contacts, friendly parents or relatives, etc.
