         (Dad:) The job of a parent is the most sacrificial, difficult ministry there is. It costs everything to be a good parent! You have to die to yourself and lay down your life day after day after day. Sometimes the rewards seem hidden and the problems overwhelming, but you just have to keep being faithful, keep pouring out, keep loving and praying and supporting and encouraging your children, keep following the Lord and trusting Him, and accepting that "God's gift is God's work."
