         Fear not these attacks of the Enemy. Fear not this testing, this battle which engulfs you, as the Enemy goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Fear not! Rest in Me, knowing that I love you. Trust in Me, knowing that I will care for you as My beloved, that I will allow no evil to befall you because I love you and you are precious to Me.
         I need you to fulfill the mission that I have set before you. You are precious and important to Me, and there is yet much for you to do. So fear not that the Enemy will cut you off before your time, or that you will be disabled, or that you will spend many weeks and months in agonizing trial and testing, in debilitating pain and suffering. Fear not! For these attacks of the Enemy are only for a time; they are for a purpose, and are from My hand.
         I have many things yet to teach you. There are many areas of your life that I want you to grow and mature in, that you might be the beautiful vessel that I have destined you to be; that you might be sympathetic and compassionate; that you might be easily touched with the feelings of others' infirmities; that you might be able to look at others and feel their needs; that you might be able to say through your experiences and your breakings and your testings and trials, "I understand, for I, too, have been broken and tested. I, too, have suffered." But you will also be able to say, "I know that it pays to trust the Lord."
