I will care for your precious ones, for they are also very precious to Me. I have promised to always care for My Own. Have faith for this one who is troubled. He has a strong will and is as an unbridled horse who needs taming. But fear not for him, for I will keep him and he will not perish, for he is one of My Own and you have prayed for him. Neglect not to pray for him and be not weary in your prayers. I will keep him and I will use him to be a help to others.
He needs an outlet to minister to others, to pull himself from the doldrums of despair and the feelings of failure. The only way he can do this is to ask for My help. It seems so difficult to him to ask for My help, but encourage him, pray for him, so that he realizes that he need only call out to Me and that I am right there. Encourage him that I don't require him to do great works, but just to call out to Me, to trust Me that I am there, in a sparkle, a flicker of faith. Encourage him to trust that I am there for him and that I will help him in ways he never thought possible.
With man, things are impossible, but not with Me, for I am the Creator of all things. For one's life and habits to change is impossible except with My help. His dependence on an earthly grip can be loosed in an instant by sincerely calling out to Me for My help. And then when the temptations come, if he will but call out to Me each time, I will help him.
This affliction is humbling, yet it will help him to learn to reach out to others and to realize he needs help. For many, realizing the need of another's help is very difficult, almost more than one can bear. Being weak in another's eyes is devastating in one sense, yet so liberating in another. Pray for this one to be liberated from the bondage of what others think of him, or what he feels others expect of him. Pray for him to let go of his fears and worries for just an instant so that I might catch him and lift him up with faith and comfort and confidence, that with Me he can conquer his present situation, gain victories, and be an overcomer.
Encourage your son. Love him. Look into his eyes with positive faith. Offer him a change. Show him you have faith in him, and your faith will do mighty things. Direct him in a path of service for others. Let him know honestly that you love him, just him, and not his accomplishments. Give him faith that there is a future, because you know that the future is as bright as My promises. Show him that in any difficulty I am always right there waiting to help, if he will but ask.
