         (Guardian angel:) Babies are so beautiful and sweet and pure. It's amazing how God starts people out so small and helpless. Don't you marvel at how a human being grows and learns so much in such a short amount of time?--Learns to recognize his world around him, learns to coordinate his movements, learns to recognize those he loves and who love him, learns to communicate, learns to get around. Amazing, isn't it?
         Just as in a year's growth a babe learns in the physical and develops so rapidly, so does his little spirit. He is constantly absorbing sights and sounds, feelings, reactions, emotions. So pour all you can into this little one, for he is special. He will be a special little one, a close little friend and companion to you, one to share your joys and your sorrows, one to grow with and learn to love with.
         He is such a beautiful little sponge, soaking up God's sunshine of love. And one day, at the slightest impression or squeeze, he'll be able to pour out this love to others, to soothe and water hungry and thirsty souls. Thank you for being a faithful mommy and for helping to make my job an easy one.
