Love has magical powers! It is the mystery of the heart, the center of emotions. When you are in love, it is the highest feeling, and when you feel loved it is the most comforting feeling. It is one of the greatest gifts I have given you that you can give to another, and requires the greatest wisdom in handling it to help others and not hurt. It is also very volatile. It can be a great blessing or it can be very painful.
All love is of Me, and I place that love toward another in each person's heart. But emotions can be of man, and the emotions of love can sometimes be overpowering and hard to control, like any emotions--anger, impatience, disappointment, discouragement. But they
can be controlled by the Spirit, and when brought into subjection and controlled they are a great blessing. But when they run away out of control, like a runaway horse, then it can hurt the ones they come in contact with, and the rider.
So let My love constrain you. Let the love of Christ constrain your emotions to keep them in check. The love of Christ will not hurt others, for love bears all things, is not easily provoked, seeks not her own, is patient and longsuffering. So ask for My love to constrain you and to bring your feelings and emotions under control.
No love can be forced. I love many people and want to show them and give them My love; but if they are not ready, then I cannot force it on them. I can only offer, and then return another time and offer again. For time solves many things. In time, many people's hearts change, and in time they may be ready for the love you have to offer, or you may be ready for another.
Do not be disappointed, and do not set your hopes on one person. For throughout the life of each person I bring many people across their path. Some fall in love with each other mutually, and sometimes only one person falls in love with the other. Each is designed for a special purpose, for a particular lesson and stage of growth.
Whether you are in love or not, there are always many lessons to learn--how to be loving even though you're not in love, which is an even greater love; how to love unconditionally; how to handle and treat each other's hearts in love. The lesson of life is learning how to love and act in love in any situation, whether you are in love or out of love. If you can do this, this is true love.
