(Dad:) Hi! I love you! I just wanted to say that I understand what you're going through, being somewhat in between age groups. I'm so sorry about that. But I just wanted to encourage you and let you know that I understand and I'm praying for you to have patience and faith to trust the Lord that things won't always be like that. I know it's difficult and you don't really see how things can change, but I'll tell you for a fact that they will change. Nothing is always the same, and sooner or later your age won't make any difference any more. Okay? Do you believe that? Or can you take it by faith? When you're a few years older, it won't make a difference any more. One day you're even going to be surrounded by people your own age, so don't worry about it.
Just be loving to those younger than you and those older than you, and you'll have the best of both worlds! Love the older ones unconditionally. And even if you think and feel that they don't really receive you, just keep loving them, and love will find a way. Of course, they have their lessons to learn as well, and they shouldn't be selfish or exclude others just because they're a few years younger.
Everybody's learning together and growing together, and hopefully we'll all make progress and be the loving Family that He wants us to be. There is no male or female in Christ and there is also no age difference. We're all His bride and we shouldn't discriminate. As long as you stay loving and cheerful and encouraging, the Lord will help you. He will bring along some friends that will be very dear and precious to you. You will love them greatly, they will love you greatly, and you will get along very well. So be encouraged!
